Hard lesson learned at Club World Casino

Let me start by saying i have never ever in all my years playing online won a random jackpot at any RTG casino. So imagine my surprise when my screen goes to fireworks exploding and a banner telling me "congrats on winning the minor jackpot for $326". The even better part was that i had converted $1 worth of comp points just to mess around with some of those penny tournies they have. Well as par for the course goes when my game was over and i went to check my balance the jackpot was not there, so i contacted support who said at first that if i was playing with my own money then i should get to keep it, i had asked as a hypothetical question, when i then told her the real situation "Lydia" then said oh no in a tourny it just gets converted to points and you can add then to your total ? Wow with all the technology we have they really should be able to disable those mini jackpots if they aren't any good while one plays the tournies. Especially a good casino like Club World. To live and learn i guess, and my luck hasn't changed so at least i'm consistent.

Hi there. I don't really understand you post here. Are you being for real here and complaining that you though you won a random jackpot. As playing in tourney (for points) you really though you would win it hehe?

I think it is fine the random jackpots work in the tourneys. As it gives you a big points win for it.
Also when you play "fun money" at RTG you can also win random jackpots. So I don't understand how you are not happy with this.

I hope I might have misunderstood your post. I really hope so. Feel free to enlight me :D

Uuuummm, well yeah i thought i won, when my screen tells me i won and fireworks go off i think that means "hey i won" maybe it's just me. But let me see if i understand your post? Someone can win the actual jackpots with fake ass money but not with their real money they used to enter a tournament ? That makes a grip of sense to me, and by the way it wasn't really a complaint it was more of a story of a lesson i learned this morning nothing more nothing less, that's all.

Ok no probs. I just though you knew that when you play for fun or in tourneys. You can of course not win a random jackpot and keep it. Sorry to hear I know It must have been frustrating finally hitting one and not get to keep it

Don't it get you down mate ;) I am sure the real one is waiting for you around the corner  here is some lucky cheering :notworthy

OK so you mean you won a RJ in a paid tourney. Actually it wouldnt matter if you had bought in or its a free tourney. The RJ win is added to your tourney total and might get you a better position. Frankly, for any tourney your bet is normally $100 per spin so its easier to get a RJ. I am pretty sure most of us who play the tournies have gotten a RJ . I had a dozen of these myself but really when you bet 0.25 or 0.5 per spin the chances of getting a RJ is drastically reduced. I am never disappointed when that happens as it would be suicide to bet that much per spin and the RJ win might not cover your losses.

Good thing your didn't hit the major jackpot or you would have really shit a brick. If the tournament jackpots were actually cash in hand to the player everyone would be playing the tournaments because the values of the jackpots is so inflated and like chuchu said your chances of hitting a jackpot in tournament mode is increased because of the $100 per pull spins. Tough luck Petey, at least when you hit one in real mode you will know what to expect.

I'm still scratching my head as to why this thread even exists.

I mean, why isn't the OP complaining that they don't get to convert their tourney balance to real money at the end? The principle is exactly the same.

The only lesson here is to understand something before you enter it, and apply a little common sense along the way.

Tournament funds are PLAY funds. If you win ANYTHING with PLAY funds, it is paid in PLAY funds. I just don't see where there is room for confusion....??

Are you kidding? It probably took upper management to figure this out because the CSR's I've dealt with at most online casinos don't have a clue.

In addition to agreeing with what you just said I also wish, that when I am giving them money (the casino) the CSR's would try to type in English and use spell check!! I'm far from perfect when it comes to grammar but it would instill a little more confidence:)

When I first played an RTG tourney - I don't remember now what game it was, but someone had won the RJ in tourney mode, and when I went to play for real, someone had won the REAL RJ in that same game too - it was a strange coincidence.
