I hovered my mouse over my balance and it showed me my deposit and bonus balance, which is handy to know if you're trying to figure when you've played your wagers through I guess, I personally can't seem to find anywhere that offers a bonus so I can test out this new feature.

From the looks of it tho it's not really a wagers keeper upper, seems to me MG is going to start with the sticky bonus bs business.:eek2:

??? :what:
Nearly all MG's have sign-up bonuses - have you done them all?

I've not tried 32RED since the update, so I'm not sure it's at all the casino's - but I'd hate to think more are going down the "real account" "bonus account" route... That'd be a nightmare!

I've played at all of them, I skipped the 40% rip off bonuses. Did good for awhile on the buy 50 get 200 free but usually had to argue to get my money but I eventually got paid.

doesnt seem to work right on some places tho? on spin palace it said i had 0 bonus even tho I only just got one

Am I just being blond or am I understanding that feature to show us how we are doing on our wr? If so I love it. It will surely cut way back on bothering the CS folks when we lose count, which is one big thing that I hate about taking a bonus of any kind. Too much math for me.

Yes this is a useful feature on EZ Bonus casinos, because you can see at a glance how much of your total balance is still 'bonus' money, and therefore how much wagering you still have to do (bonus balance * 30).

On casinos that aren't EZ, it's useless, because it will always say Bonus=0.

Re: Ez (rip off) bonus system

The roadhouse reels group, it's a gimmick bonus system, they upped the wagering requirments to 30X but you cash out for a lessor amount if you can't seem to make the full 30X. It's weird but still a rip off, the old wr's were 20X and thats hard enough to make.

30x bonus is the same as 15x deposit+bonus if it's a 100% match. While not great, the new bonus system has generally meant lower wagering requirements & you can finally find out how much you've wagered without pestering CS or cutting and pasting from Playcheck to Excel.

I wonder if "EZBonus" is any relation to the Las Vegas "EZPay" system?... The system that spoiled Las Vegas slots. Where's the fun if you're not carrying a big bucket of silver dollars round!?? :D

I spotted that too.

I noticed. I can see this causing a great deal of problems as it is a false indicator at some casinos. It will lead to players making a cash-in because all the signs are that WR has been met (bonus=0), but the casinos that are not EZBonus are simply adding the bonus as cash and expecting WR under the old system.
Just wait for those complaints to hit the forum when players have token refunds or winnings confiscated.
In general, it is an improvement on casinos that asked for 20x D+B on slots, but for casinos where WR were less this will be a bad thing. Worse for some casinos, it makes deposit related bonuses more attractive to players against winning chips in draws and tournaments.
Casinos affected could always change their bonuses using expected value mathematics and offer something suitable for the EZbonus system.
I would prefer this as, once working, the struggle with cut & paste and E-mails to CS will be a thing of the past. Another benefit is transparency, no more claims by CS that you "miscalculated" when you worked out the wagering, the software gives the cash-in balance, and simply won't permit any unearned bonus being cashed in.
I would hope that MG have enabled casinos to set their own multipliers and weightings as they do their promotions. This will encourage competition and not tie every one down to the same deals.

Anyone who wants to try this can go to Casino Action (Accredited zone above), although it has not been implemented at Challenge yet in terms of the new lobby. Any casino with Avalon etc. should have this extra.

Personally, I find this feature useless unless it is implemented across all MG casinos as a true measure of the wagering requirements attached to the bonus offer.

 Seems like this will indeed lead to some confusion in its present form.
