This is my first post so i'm gonna ask you all a question. What do you think of reverse withdraw accounts? and I only got a few minutes of battery life so excuse me if my grammer is bad or if I have typos or spelling mistakes :)
The reason I asked this question is cause I don't like them hahaha. Been a online casino player for about 10 years and almost won once and finally did win once...if you call it that lol..4 or 5 Christmas's ago is when I almost won.. I only deposit $50 at a time and bet low. I don't ever expect to win but if I have a few hours of fun its a win for me. Anyways that night it had my biggest hit ever. I play Jackpot City Casino and I was betting .45 and was almost out. I had .09 and it was a 9 line game Break The Bank. BOOM!! on that bet I won $565. I never thought that was even possible but I had a bunch of lines and the top pays with the 2 5* things. At end of night I had $1100 from my $50 and tried my first withdraw. It went into what is called a reverse withdraw account.. GENIUS!! If you own a casino :). It told me id get my money in 24-48 so I gave the misses my laptop so I wouldn't play. Bad I know but I love it and back then I had little control.. Am I the only one like that?? I doubt it lol. Anyways 4 days later I still never had the money so I logged in and called them and they said they were waiting on me to send them a id and a copy of a bill with my address on it. Part of their process I guess for new winners so I sent it and spent $300 of my winnings lol.. 3 days later waiting on my $700 I called them and they never got my info when I sent it... Understandable but at this point I was fed up and played it and lost very fast lol. I was so mad that I stopped playing there and went to Spin Palace but eventually went back to Jackpot City as I felt I got more bang for my buck there... Like I said a few hours of fun is why I play but I dream of the big win lol. I just enjoy it, what can I say. BEST TIME EVER!! lol Till I never got it :(...So last week I finally won for the first time ever. I played for 30 hours straight which is excessive hahaha but I didn't wanna quit till the casino was cold.... Too much fun...When it was all said and done I had $1500. Thats alot of money to me and I was pumped to get it but in the back of my mind I really never thought I was gonna get anything... So.... I withdrew on a Friday....Sunday I logged in to see if I got my money and it was still there so I played a bit. Had $1000 left after that session. My fault though I was lazy and never even bothered to send stuff in. Monday I still hadn't sent nothing in and I started playing when I got to $550 left I went to reverse another $50 again and only had $250. checked my Bank account and there was $300 there. Far cry from the $1500 I withdrew but now I know if I wait ill get it :) and I will from now on even if I gotta throw my laptop out lol :) I got a few questions for you guys?
1. What is your opinion of the reverse withdraw act and are all Casinos like this? I only withdrew 2 times from Jackpot city never anywhere else so I don't know if all em do that.
2. Why do my self imposed limit not count for reverse withdraws? When I started playing online casinos I was a bad gambler and would sometimes spend more than I should. Im sure im not the only one lol... So I set a weekly deposit limit of $50 so I don't be stupid and spend more than I should....Now get this...If I call the casino while playing and want to up my deposit limit I gotta wait 24 hours to cool down.. They actually call it the cool down period if you speak to them. Which is good and the way it should be so everyone can have fun responsibly even if they don't have good self control. The itch is gone next day lol. Now in my eyes correct me if I am wrong im not educated on this when I do a withdraw as soon as im finished that is my money again. So, im trying to be responsible by setting the limit cause I know im a dum ass and may go to far and its my way to regulate it but the Casino wants its cash back lol. If the reverse withdraw option is there thats cool but you should only be able to reverse to your imposed limit. Its a grey area.I cant deposit anything new when my limit is reached so why will it let me deposit $1500 that was allready withdrew in $50 increments. This time when I withdrew I asked a rep if he could set it so I cant touch it and he said he couldn't do that. I think if you have a weekly limit you shouldnt be able to deposit over it even if its your reversal. They are still separate transactions and when I withdraw and the money is mine im not being protected my my limit.. What you guys think?
3. Why was it that the first time I had to send ID's and everything in which I never did to get my money even though I can verify any personal info on the act that noone else could know. Anyone could photoshop a ID to say whatever they want. Its less safe these days like that... And they wanted a copy of a Bill or Credit Card statement so they could verify my address that they have been sending junk mail to since I signed up.. And why do they need to confirm my address when im withdrawing it and having it deposited in my bank account. They not sending me mail lol. They could easily call the bank to confirm info as its on the forum.. Then a few years later I withdraw and they send it before I even send a thing in. I guess policies must have changed .
4. This should be at the beginning but oh well :) my name is Chris and im from St Johns NL...Yup im a newfie.....ahhhhh that explains it all everyone is thinking... I hope you can understand my newfie slang lol...Good thing you are reading it and not talking to me id mess ya right up...HEY BY!!anyways are there any other newfs and its nice to meet you all... take care, have a good day, and get er done :)

I just refuse to bother reading if you don't bother make it readable :);)

The first part is basically the same like this post

Start reading at 1. He's referring to a couple of interesting points like reversals, limits on reversals (why are there weekly deposit limits but not weekly reversal limits?) and the KYC procedure.

To the OP: Please don't post the same content twice in multiple threads.

Okay I will be polite and answer your questions.

1. Being able to reverse withdrawals stinks but many casinos do it. Their are plenty tho that pay out within hours you can check them out in accredited section and maybe try some.

2.The limit only counts on physical deposits. Reversing doesn't apply as until you actually complete the cashout that money isn't physically yours. Its just a balance so reversing it is just the same as playing it before requesting a withdrawal

3. The law requires all casinos to do KYC on all customers at some point. Many casinos do it on first withdrawal or when you reach a certain point. Read casinos terms and it will explain it. Reason second withdrawal never asked for anything is because you had already completed the KYC. Future withdrawals from same casino should also go through without needing to send documents.

4. Hi and welcome to forum.

Hi, welcome to forum.

Yes, there are a few casinos have "reverse withdrawal", and trust me, many of us don't like "reverse withdrawal", but a few casinos has it because many players "do" reverse quite often and it means more money for the casino.

But there are a few casino that process your withdrawal quite quickly. If you can see the list of accredited casinos on this forum, please check the information about the casino that this forum provide, you can see how fast they do "withdraw".-please remember, not all of the casinos in accredited list has "fast withdraw"- I recommend the casinos with higher score.

If the "reverse" is the issue for you, I think you'd better join the casino with fast withdrawal.

Talking about sending a bill etc which is called KYC process, casinos are asking that for a few reason. One of them is of course they don't want the casino to be used for money laundry, and another reason is that they want to make sure you don't have multiple accounts with them. You said something about why casinos simply call the bank to ask, but the thing is no bank will give your personal information like address on the phone to somebody else. Not even to the Prime Minister of your country.

And most of the casino ask this KYC process only once, which means you don't need to do that every time you withdraw. By the way, even the casino with fast withdraw could take first withdrawal a little bit longer because of this KYC process, so my advice is sending all the documents you need to send and get verified before you start playing, and you can enjoy "fast withdrawal" from the first withdrawal.-Some casinos take a few days to verify your documents, some casinos can do within one hour or so.-

Anyway welcome to the forum again, when you have time, read some posts that is on this forum, and you will learn a lot about online gambling. It has been so big help for me, and most of members here are very nice, friendly and helpful.

There is only one answer to your post really:

- play only at casinos
* who do not have the reverse option and pay within 30mins - a few hours. E.g. Bet-At, Slotty Vegas, Mr. Green, Redbet
*who only have a short reverse period and pay within 30mins - a few hours . E.g. Videoslots, Energy, CasinoLuck, Thrills
*who have flushing available on request to shorten the reverse period - GoWild/Wild Jackpots
*who offer an "account lock" option while you have a withdrawal pending - 32RED

One other information: Where ever money gets involved you have to prove your identity, or as it is called KYC (KYC = Know Your Customer), be it bank, credit card company etc. and casinos

Last advice: please take some classes or courses on how to write a readable post. Thanks :p :D

Welcome to the forum.... Thats pretty intense for a first post lol.... Dont know what to think but I am a little bit worried lol :) Take it easy

Always glad to welcome a fellow Canuck to the forum.

My advice is to get a missus better at not giving you back your laptop, lol.

Seriously though, you have been offered good advice. Most places will verify you before first cashout, so you can easily get that out of the way first.

Cashing out is a great feeling. Set your cashout goals lower and it will happen more often. Think about and plan what you will do with your money when you get it, write it down even. It will help with you not reversing. If your monthly budget is $200, then setting $200 as a cashout goal seems pretty reasonable. Or even $150... my usual point for a $50 deposit. That will cover your gambling for the rest of the month;)

Play at casinos that offer CAD. It will reduce the fees you pay.
