Gtbets.Com is NOT as good as VIP.COM - Careful with the CASINO!

Yes, I am sour grapes because I lost, so lets get this out of the way first. But here is my story.

I was a member at VIP.COM from 1998 until they shut down last summer. I was then told by my Casino host "Vince" that GTBETS.COM was basically a NEW and BETTER version of VIP. I trusted my host and signed up with GT.

Well.......Let me tell you first hand. GTBETS.COM is NOT the same as VIP in many ways.

First, I went from receiving 40% bonus on deposits at VIP to only 20%.

Second, I can't get my casino host on the phone or over the internet. He corresponded with me occasionally at first, but now....NOTHING. This is after I made special request that he contact me.

Third, Their withdrawal setup is crap. You are limited to less than $3,000 for each withdrawal. Then you have to wait. And wait.

Fourth, Their Casino Games are crap. They don't pay off and the idea of a "BONUS" round is non-existent.

Finally, Their method of deposit is very unpredictable. Sometimes you can use you MC and sometimes....well, you are left with nothing but inconvenience.

If you want to criticize this critique based on my losing at their casino, then so be it. Otherwise, I suggest you stay clear....or find out for yourself. You will see what I'm talking about.

I've never heard of either of these 2 casinos - which says a lot in itself.
The GT website looks very "amateurish" - I wouldn't play there if you paid me!

Stick to CM's Accredited list - much safer

Was VIP.com not accredited at one stage? It was certainly well regarded (I had an account). This amateurish casino has been given undeserved credibility because VIP status players were referred there by their hosts at VIP.com, who they trusted as part of their business relationship with VIP.com. It seems these hosts had another agenda once VIP.com closed, and showed their true colours as greedy moneygrabbers who cared little about the customers they had been serving during their time at VIP.com, and saw an opportunity, stole the player lists and either sold them to GTBETS on the condition they got a job there, or used them themselves to earn commission from GTBETS for sending them players.

These players may well have seen GTBETS in a different light had they found the site themselves, or had it spammed to them. Losing happens everywhere, and is normal, but the rest of the OP's complaints show an amateurish and possibly underfunded operation, and there are questionmarks about the software.

I disagree A cautionary tale about a little known casino (often!) has it's place here IMO.

VIP.com I think was on Crypto. Didn't actually realise it had gone LOL. GTBets appears to have a few older Crypto slots (I spot Kanga Kash, Eastern Dragon and The Oracle among others) but seems very odd that it is the really old ones and only a few. The domain was only registered about 8 months ago and the whois is anonymous which is a red flag right there.

Might be worth digging a bit deeper.

This. I do not play on really any casino that isnt accredited here. Its way too risky . Its hard enough to win at casino's, let alone when you finally do, some rogue screws you over. If I want to try something new, I click on accredited and go through the list and choose from there

I just had to chime in and let people know that GTBETS is primarily a sportsbook. VIP.Com was primarily a sportsbook as well. They will gladly take action on casino games, but if you expect to be a long term winner at them you will be severely disappointed. VIP was around since the mid-90's and closed up shop last August always were a solid out. Several members of the old VIP management went off on their own and founded GTBets.

If you like to bet sports, they are a decent out but they are still fairly new to the scene so be careful.

If you are wanting to gamble playing the casino games.. waste of time IMO.

They also offer nice bonuses (50% cash 6x rollover) and a low rollover but tread lightly since they are heading into the slow season for sportsbooks.

I think you're getting VIP.com confused with VIPcasino.com - the latter IS still a Crypto casino (sister to Intercasino).
