Check out this brilliant documentary by Alexis Conran (Pro con artist,trickster and card whizz) This is very hard hitting but I think will be useful to people on here who are struggling.

Also by con artist I mean he conned people as part of a t.v show to prevent you from being conned (the real hustle)

I cant believe how many open casinos you guys have in the UK! No wonder they had to push for tough laws.

It's really bad even in small towns. In Livingston where I'm originally from in the town centre There is a William hill and
Arcade/Casino which is opposite a ladbrokes and a pub! This is no word of a lie.

It's the first thing you walk past when you walk in through the doors and get this, there is a bloody cheque centre right next to these(this is to get loans, credit and exhange currency). It's definitely strategically placed as they know people will get credit to gamble! Very bad.

Also why we was on about this i just had a little count up of what my local town has. My local town has a population of around 40,000 so not a massive town but the list of betting places is alarming.

3 x Coral betting shops
2 x William hill
2 x Ladbrooks
Paddy power
Betfred
Lincs racing bookies
S&D Bookmakers
L&A Amusments
3 x Horizon Amusements

And a few more. All this only 23 miles away from SkeggyVagas

Interesting.

Okay this is a few years old from 2014.

But at that time Glasgow had more bookies than anywhere else in UK.

At that time it had 205 bookies one for every 2458 adults in the city.

Add that to several casinos and countless amusement arcades not to mention all the bingo halls and online gambling and it shows just how many people gamble a hell of a lot.

And that is before you consider most shops sell scratchcards and all the shops that do the lottery.

Down the road from me in springburn there are 3 bookie right next to each other and another 2 a minutes walk away and an amusement arcade. All that in just a small local area.

And you will find that normally a bookies is right next to a pub as people drink and gamble.

It's lethal folks, temptation everywhere I'm lucky to not have a bookies in the village I live in but every surrounding village or town has at least 1.

Same in Ireland, bookies and a lot of land based places where you can play slots through the day and night. Since a while also the multi game Greentube cabinets and the RTP must be horrendous, never managed to win anything close compared to the online Greentube games.

Here is another good one,recently broadcasted on RTE in Ireland.
Very similar to the many problems in the UK with the shear amount of bookies, arcades and racing tracks.
