hello, everyone I found a e-mail in my spam folder that said grand parker now back online, went to the site because I still had the software on my computer, and yes it up and running , still had my money in the account and played few spins on a slot only to hit a bonus round after three spins at .60 bets, and won $ 21.00. I did not check too see if any of there other sites were up and running .

They are all up running:(
Warning, don't trust, don't play, don't deposit and most important...if you do then don't win!
You maybe won't get your money. Check bounces or the casinos will go down again in three days.
My advice is to Avoid! There are better places!

It still seems highly suspicious that a "mission critical" piece of their infrastructure could go offline for a month, and nothing they could do would bring things back faster. Normally, a major upgrade would have a "rollback plan" so that if it went pear shaped, they could revert to the earlier systems whilst troubleshooting the problem.

The lack of such a plan suggests this was not entirely an "act of God" type situation, but the result of a dispute of some kind where one party was able to lock the other out of the system, and the delay in restoration was down to the time needed to negotiate a settlement.

Did they owe money to RTG? This would certainly cause the server to go down for a month, and leave no access to even the anciliary systems.

Could it even be related to the Costa Rican government audit of the bank accounts of online operators based there, which has included the temporary freezing of funds.

This does seem likely and they will be under pressure to make a quick buck to continue paying their dues to RTG.Remember, everyone, do not feed these crooks, I repeat do not give them any of your dough.

there back down again

I, did not know anything about this group before I made a deposit on there, but now I do and will keep far way from these guys, I was playing for about 3 hours on the with the deposit I had made just before they went down, I notice that the conection to the site was very poor and the slots would just sit there and spin for up to 20 to 30 seconds at a time so I knew they were still having some kind of a problem with the site so I logged off and came back later to find that they had gone off line again, thank you for the heads up notice about this site when I finsh with my play thru I will be getting my funds out of that site hopefully, well see, thanks again everyone.

Down for a month, up again for 3 hours, then down again.

WTF was their tech team doing for a whole month. Looks like nothing really.

Maybe it just took RTG 3 hours to find out the check was bad:p

Surely it is RTG that supplies and manages the servers, not the individual operators. RTG need such control in case operators just pirate the software and run it from somewhere even less regulated than Costa Rica. Given this, I would have expected RTG to have assisted in providing a permanent fix after all this time, or even a completely new server.

If this is a more general issue, then EVERY RTG casino is vulnerable, yet this has not happened elsewhere. It seems this one server is different somehow, and maybe IS a "pirate" version away from the main server farms that serve RTG casinos, hence the flaky connectivity and inability to bring it back online, or keep it online for more than a few hours.

The next 3 hour window should be used as an opportunity to submit a withdrawal, as a second outage presents a risk to the financial strength of a business that is already thought to have barely enough turnover to keep things running with fully functioning servers.

Nope more likely is that they paid their fees by instalments like paying out to players and the current fees only bought them 3 hours of service from RTG.
