I searched the forum high and low and can't seem to find whether Grand Bay casino is one to stay away from or if it is ok to dabble at. I had such a great time with my free bonus money (blew it all of course) that I was wondering if anyone has had any problems or such before I make the leap of depositing for real. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks!

Pros: Grand Bay casino is a safe and good place to play Silcnlayc. I haved played there for the last three or so years and have never had a problem with a cashin. Usually back in my Neteller account in two days after cashin. Won some decent jackpots there. :D

Cons: Sometimes slow response to e-mails

Hahaha, I was curious about "Casino Grand Bay" myself. :) Here's a couple of links that may/may not be useful.

...that title will ALWAYS be memorable.

...albeit brief.

My experiences with this group have been fine, although historically, not up to par with the better groups (which is completely subjective). I've always been paid, and although I haven't played there in quite some time, like you, I've received that $100 FREE invitation, which I'm currently playing with. If and when you can get through to their support (in South Africa), they're quite helpful. But like others, in this day-and-age, why can't they upgrade and offer live-assistance via instant chat?

A couple of days ago I received an envelope by snail mail with a very impressive gold embossed booklet and a CD from Grand Bay. It said they were offering me an exclusive welcome offer with no purchase required, no tricks, no fine print .... and a welcome to the Sunsetters Club. It said to see the enclosed postcard for more details. However, there was no postcard in the envelope! I am going to e-mail the casino and see what it's all about. I am excited about it (though it doesn't take much to excite me at my age!!!).

I could tell you some tales... LOL But I won't. Let's just say, I got the 'exclusive' invitation also. But am 'not eligible for this promotion'. They still have me black listed I suppose. So why send it to me? They removed me from their email lists. remove me from the snail mail, too. Sheesh.

If you do not play bonuses very much, you will probably be ok playing at this group.

do a search for Grand Prive, Jupiter and/or Bella Vegas ...

I have never had a problem with them. I have never cashed out so I can't comment on that aspect of the casino. I would say I purchased around $3000 at Casino Grand Bay last year and received 3 snail mail free money bonus coupons. The amounts were $100 $250 and a nice Christmas bonus for $500. Each mailing had the promo # on the booklet so I don't know anything about a postcard. I do take a lot of bonuses from them and they are usually for 100% match. I have no complaints about customer service. They answer the phone and e-mail requests promptly (in my experience at least). Hope that helps!:)

Mousey,

Go to the thread on Bigdollar Casino and see if Silcnlayc's advice can help you get your bonus by pressing the right icon.

Neer had a withdrawal problem.
Their CS can be a little slow but answers do come in a couple of days.

WOW!!! I too am a VIP!! Got the envelope, downloaded and inserted my invitation # and got an email thankiing me for my taking advantage of their 'purchase bonus'. I tried calling...always busy so I emailed and emailed and the only response I got was "we have to check into it". I played in practice mode and lost the play $1000 in about an hour. I do LOVE that they have taken the Playtech looking connect to play or real money choice without the normal MG hassel of having 2 different numbers. I just emailed them again so we'll see. It's been 2 days now. The invitation does not show the T&C's, anything quirky in them?

I got the mailer too. The first time I entered the code, it said I was ineligible. I figured that was because I already had an account (never deposited though) and I uninstalled the casino.

Silcnlayc advised in the other thread that I should try again. So I dug the postcard out of the garbage, reinstalled the sw (downloaded from website since the CD crashed my pc twice), entered the code and this time it said the request was successful.

Still waiting for the bonus to be credited (been 4-5 hours now).....

Did it say how long it would take on the postcard? I think mine was usually 12 to 24 hours if I remember correctly. Usually it would show up within 12 hours.

It said 24 hours after you entered the code. Mine said I was successful but I still have nothing in my account. After seeing johnsteeds big win I am getting more anxious to recieve it. I'm well over 48 hours 1 call and 5 emails and still waiting!

I was sceptical at first und tried to find T/C, coudln't. So I installed CD and entered the code - no problems. I got lucky at MadHatters - won €72 at free spins and I think I could cash out about €50, at least so showed my cash balance. But I was confused about EZ-Bonus system, keep plaing and suddenly saw that my cash balance was €0 again. I never get over and busted out :( . But it still a very nice offer  - if only I was not so stupid with cash out as always. A week ago I received an offer from another casino - free €25, could theoretically cash out €50 - the same story. I think, I am not able to play successfully at casinos, just can't stop in time, I am so mad at myself  - could have about free €100 now...

I just posted this same message a 2nd time - the other is in the "Winner Screenshots" thread - and what I did, and it worked quickly, was type-in my invitation number a second time. For whatever reason (maybe just lucky timing), the credit was in my account in a matter of minutes. Just try again, it can't hurt. :)

Just in case some of those who received this can't locate where to type-in their invitation number, go to the homepage once you're in your casino account (don't bother going directly to the webpage... it's either not there or I can't see it). You should see an icon for "The SUNSETTERS CLUB".

I hope this helps some, and I hope others make a killing off of it!

Bingo!

The bonus did not show up overnight, so I retrieved the postcard from the trash again, re-entered the code (3rd time), and the bonus was credited in under 5 minutes.

<rant warning>
Grand Prive are reputable (I even have them on my site) but I urge everyone to boycott them!

Why?
Because they are racist!
Due to legal, financial transaction regulations, and commercial reasons Grand Priv cannot offer any promotional bonuses to players from: South East Asia, Southern Africa, and certain other countries. Some of these countries include, but are not limited to; Albania, Argentina, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Belarussia, Bosnia, Bulgaria, China, Croatia, Czech Republic, Estonia, Georgia, Herzegovina, Hungary, Indonesia, Jiang Do, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Malaysia, Moldova, Montenegro, Pakistan, Romania, Russia, Russian Federation, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Ukraine and Yugoslavia.

The Casino does not discriminate against any players from Denmark. Danish players are welcome to register an account at the Casino, however, these accounts will be excluded from receiving the Welcome Bonus.
So anyone in the USA or Western Europe will get a sign-up bonus - but not if you have the audacity to be British or Danish!
(UK not mentioned I know - but believe me, I've checked!).
My wife is Czech, but even if we moved over there I STILL would not be welcomed!
<rant over>

So they're a fine operation as long as you're not effected by the above! ;)

This gives the casino carte blanche to exclude anyone on the basis of residence.
Btw, does anyone know where this mysterious Jiang Do is, which is so full of fraudsters and bonus abusers?

WTG everyone! Just keep re-entering that invite number (and use the CD! even if you have an account there and never deposited) for it seems that maybe a lot of players are taking advantage of it and the casino might be getting a little overload from us being that we all seemed to get it in the same time frame.

Now, whats this about T&C's? I didn't bother to go through them since I wasn't planning on withdrawaing anything.. One less problem the meister would have to deal with :D :notworthy

Thats one of the many problems being British! Whenever I do a casino, England can be under, "United Kingdom" ,"Britain" or "England", which makes it confusing, as sometimes filling in those forms, or looking for banning restrictions, and trying to find England in it is a needle in a hay stack and makes the current terms more confusing then they already are :what:

I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I played in their poker room and when I e-mailed to recieve the RAF bonus I just got "we have locked your account" for an answer. They wanted my ID. I emailed them and asked if a bank statement would do to verify my adress. No reply whatsoever. So I scanned in my documents and sent it. Still haven't got a reply. My friend have waited well over a week for them to verify his docs.

Also I now get emails at least once in a week saying "acording to my records it's been almost three months since you visited us.. blablabla." as well as numerous invitations to all their casinos.

Could anyone here successfully cash out "free cash account" balance
off the bonus?

I am having a bit of winning off the bonus at Big Doller, which I believe
is a sister to here, and wondering if their "free cash" is really free cash
worth bothering to withdraw or just merely a carrot hanged before horse
trying us to make a deposit.

Hey Sincnlayc,

Is there a reason that you recommend only using the CD?

It keeps freezing up my computer and I'm not sure that I can use it.

You don't need to use the CD. Just download the full-download or flash version, once you're into your account (or have finished registering for your username... or not if you've already got one), go to the homepage icon and re-enter your invitation number (via "THE SUNSETTERS CLUB"). You can only get to it (as far as I know) when you're in your account, as I'm unfamiliar with any method to get there through their website. It should work. :)
