Got an email from Intercasino yesterday, inviting me to join their 'GOLD' club and offering $100 bonus, no deposit. Nice!...
I logged in today, played a bit - it was free money, anyway - and lost this $100 after a while, without much regret. Had fun. There's only one thing really bothering me about it, though. I checked my 'Promotions' tab and noticed that even though my balance is zero and bonus money all lost, I still have outstanding WR of about $1765... in other words, if I ever decide in future to deposit my own money I would still be obliged to wager $1765 before coming clear and able to withdraw... not so nice after all?

Read this today:
If the bonus wagering requirements have not been met after 90 days and the bonus remains uncleared InterCasino reserves the right to remove the bonus from the player’s account.
Please note that if the wager requirement is not fulfilled within the month the said bonus is issued, any outstanding wager requirement will continue until the wager requirement is met - even if additional bonuses are issued.
I never yet met terms like this, so I am a bit confused.
I know there is no such thing as free money, but this really made me reluctant to make further deposits. Come on... in the worst scenario, I would need to deposit and lose over $1000 of own money in order to pay for $100 free money offer  Did I get it right?

Probably just a glitch.
If you contact them I am sure they will see it is reset to zero.
If not, you know where not to play.

Seems pretty cut & dry the way they have it worded.....WR's are carried over

No it's not a glitch - Intercasino's WR does carry over.
This is for 'abuse' prevention as they have one of the best monthlies for 'abusing' on the internet.

However, last time I checked the WR is wiped out & reset to zero after 3 months

I wish it were a glitch... Telephoned support and was told it is certainly correct, I need to (deposit?!) wager another $1765 and small change, to meet WR and come clear.

Shouldn't they be on the rogue list? That's usually how rogues operate.

Am I missing something here?
What difference does it make if its 3 Months or 3 days or 3 minutes as long as she does not take a bonus with her next deposit?
It seems like a lose lose situation.

lol $1700 in wagering when you don't even have a bonus active? They're basically saying 'no, you can't have your OWN MONEY back'...

I've said it before and I'll say it again, any company that openly admits that 89% payout is 'within their expectations' is a joke. Good customer service department or not, with payouts like that you may as well just get drunk and dodge traffic - much more productive.

if it were me i know i wouldnt be depositing again until it had been set to zero

I feel the same way.

So if you make a non-bonus deposit (which the casinos love), you are punished by still having wagering requirements from this old bonus. It makes no sense.

You have a NEGATIVE bonus waiting for you at your next deposit. Maybe you should just deposit somewhere else... There are plenty casinos out there.

 The $100 was a bonus - not her own money.

I disagree. This system discourages the ruthless 'bonus abusers' and is all good in my book, as it allows the casino to keep offering the very generous monthlies.
If you bust out without meeting WR, then yes I agree - go play elsewhere for 3 months. When you come back you will have a clean slate & still get one of the best monthlies on the net.

This is just my opinion of course, but I admit it is influenced by the fact that I have made more profit off Intercasino's monthly bonuses than from any other casino!

Is Ryan Hartly still running that place ??
Yep!

When I first joined intercasino, I was aware that the WR carried over. My first deposit & bonus was a big bust, and there was a large amount of carry over. When they next approached me with an offer, I contacted them and explained that while I had enjoyed the games, I felt it was too difficult to begin again with such a large carryover wagering requirement. They did reset it to zero for me, and I made another deposit. Again, did poorly and had big carryover. This time I just waited out the three months.

As bad as this seems, at least they're up front about it. They don't surprise you later with the bad news and keep it buried down deep somewhere in the t&c's. It's not a good strategy to get customers to return, but I also don't think they're hurting for business. At least they never used to be.

I play at intercasino but have never taken a bonus so I wasn't aware of this. Seems odd that they'd carry over WRs - it seems like they're losing a lot of future deposits by doing it. :eek2:

You need to understand the mindset of the 'ruthless bonus abuser' to appreciate why Intercasino do this.

I assure you it is better in the long run for the 'genuine' players like you & me...

I hardly ever take bonuses just so I don't get stuck with WR if I win...and then when I'm down to my last couple bucks I always wish I HAD taken one!
