To fellow Aussies.

As we have heard ecopayz, neteller, skrill and paysafe are leaving Australia. I have also been advised that Australian banks are not accepting deposits to our credit cards or bank accounts.

While some casino's are "Aussie friendly" I can't see how they will exist when we have no deposit or withdrawal options unless a bitcoin casino opens.

Let's enjoy the final weeks of gaming in oz. I'm going to miss those big wins!

Cheers,
J

When ever i want or must take a Break from Gambling ---> Australia Down Under on my Way

But i m feeling really sorry about this and your Situation in Australia :(

It is called Government interference. They know better, didn't you know :eek2::eek:

More like they have moved to a dictatorship opposed to a democratic state - it beats me how any Government can dictate how you spend your recreational time, after all a majority have worked hard to enable them to do so and along the way been hammered for taxes

Indeed it is called totalitarianism / fascism

In this case, the Australian government protects their B&M pokies which have a much lower RTP and they collect a "sure" tax since they are fixed terminals operated by big Australian companies who probably lobbied heavily to get this law passed.

It surely has nothing to do with protecting Australian citizens from becoming gambling addicts. All about the B&M operators protecting the territory and the government their taxes. Once they figured out a way on how to "safely" tax online casinos aka creating their own licensing, there will be a miraculous turn around.

Most of the Australian friendly casinos I list on my websites accept Bitcoin for deposits & withdrawals - but you still actually play in AUD.
There may be a way to still use credit cards at some places, but you would have to contact the casino in question for advice on that...

I live in a country where credit/debit cards are blocked from online gambling transactions due to government regulations, but I'm still able to use them quite a few places. Some casinos use third party processors to get a around it. I'd think Australia is a big enough market that some casinos will be interested and find ways to facilitate deposits.

In Norway the banks were ordered to block withdrawals and deposits to certain casinos bank accounts.

Casinos easily bypassed this by changing their payment processors.

I only have 3 casinos where I can deposit and withdraw with my Norwegian credit card without using e-wallets. This is because the processors they use for customers in Malta are different than the processors they use for Norwegian customers. As far as I'm aware a Casumo withdrawal will look different from a UK player to a Norwegian one. I know for one that in my bank account I have never once seen "Betsafe" in my recent transactions, even though the money in and out there are considerable.

Though I do have to use Entropay if I wanna play Novos.

The Government is pretty slow and docile in Australia they will take a few years to realise that they have made a mistake.

Everything is so backward here while other countries are a way ahead with a lot of different things.

I only got to enjoy online slots for two years and won more online than anywhere else. :(

Australians will still play online there is always a way, the government is not that smart lol
