Check out the banner Golden Palace has inserted at Casinomeister via scumware (I believe). This was sent in by one of our regular posters - I've told him to try and remove any scumware that he can find on his hard drive.

Ad-aware Personal should be able to take care of any of this.

Would be interesting to find out if that was targeted to your site directly or all gambling related sites in general...

You can get a cookie from any page that displays a GP banner.

I was wondering last night where it came from because i've only been too 3 boards lately, none of which has GP banners....

It WOULD be interesting to find out if they did this to any other sites...

Pretty Nasty...

Their advertisement techniques suck... why would they be so stupid to do that and allow that flash to appear at the miester's site??

Way stupid...

I'm sure it's not them doing it directly. I'll bet they give this spyware/scumware program out to affiliates to use that exploits an activeX control to automatically install whenever you go to a certain site.

In turn, it more than likely displays this ad on all gambling related websites that you visit.

Or, on the other hand, it may just be a rogue affiliate that has knowlege of programming that made the program himself.

CM: Was there an affiliate link attached to that ad? Or did it link straight to GP?
