1) Has Thelawnet been paid his £600? No update.
2) Jimbo paid after five months, accusation of "fraudulent gang".
3) Phew. One player, out of many, didn't report eventually being paid. He made only one post. Memorable quote:
I followed Bryan's advice and filed a complaint with Playtech but the security dude said they don't answer to Playtech so there was no point really in doing that.

...and Golden Palace sailed very close to the wind here:
Then suddenly they locked my accounts and when I called them to inquire the security department said I was a bonus abuser and that they would refund my deposits but I wouldn't receive any of my winnings.

...but they paid, having apparently changed their minds.
4) Mercifully short. One player, under "investiagtion" but paid after complaining. General notes made that complaints at Golden palace were escalating. (around June 2005).
5) Player paid after much documentation hassle.
I assume all the "fraud" stuff is casino gobbledegook for bonus players. Maybe Golden Palace decided to try a new tactic to clamp down on them, realized the level of bad publicity they were receiving and changed their minds? These threads all appeared around the same time, and there's been little recent noise.
It certainly all makes nasty reading. Again I will say: it appears that everyone was paid in the end, so I don't see that they should be lumped together with The Evil Fifteen. That doesn't mean that the potential dangers of playing Golden Palace, in light of all that, should be anything less than forcefully stressed.
Thanks for putting all that together neatly in one post - if nothing else, it helps a lot with my Golden Palace archives.
