Playtech's Gold Rally progressive jackpot was hit about 45 minutes ago. The game paid out over $2.4 million!

The previous Gold Rally jackpot was hit 97 days ago. At that time, the game paid out $2.7 million.

As usual, you can view a graph of the win by visiting the jackpot site listed in my signature. :D

If I find out where the win happened, I'll post here.

Well...I wouldn`t mind. Its like a second job...every months 20.000$ plus to your income. Woohooo.
Does the winner wanna trade with my job???:D

Since this is across all PT casinos, isn't it payed out in one lump sum, like MG?

edit: Where do you get this $20K/mo figure? This was hit @ Betfred, and I couldn't imagine them having a max payout per month :p I think it's safe to say that they're one of the most reliable and trustworthy Playtech's out there.

But honestly, you'd be willing to let a casino earn 5 figures of interest on YOUR money over 10 years?

hmm...there is lottery where you can win a life-time monthyl win of about 3-4000 or something. thats what i am dreaming of. not the huge load at once.
sure - this is much more safer than a strange casino down in "somewhere".. maybe they get busted or blown up...after one year. from this point of view you are right!!!
but you know what i meant.

until then i`ll be in the madhouse on monday (til friday) again...

Yes, there's many lotteries that offer games that will pay you X amount of dollars over the course of X years....but that's a different game in itself...even then if I had the option of taking one lump sum, I'd opt for that...:D

many get really lost with that truckload of money....maybe i am one of them??
so the safer way is get it in small pieces - and this money makes you also look very sexy and attractive:thumbsup:

Betfred? Hmm, maybe Ian can let us know how they space out the payments.

oh god.. please do not tell me you were the lottery winner
that Casino Tr*pe* bled dry.. that made me sick and
I have not promoted them since I heard about it:(

Soooo....anyone know where this was hit?

It usually takes days for Playtech to get a release out, and in general their casino operators are not much better at it.

Hi guys,

As Becky from our support team has already confirmed (via Jetset- thank you) the jackpot was sadly not won at Betfred- and yes you heard me correctly, "sadly" !

These provide fantastic publicity for the casino and I can only hope we have the next big winner (so get playing  )

In response to ChuChu I can confirm that this payment would have been honoured in a one off payment, probably with the presentation by Fred himself, of a huge promotional cheque like you see the national lottery winners get!

It is in the End User Agreement that we may limit payouts but this is an avenue we would be unlikely to take, and is there only as a precautionary measure.

Regards,

Ian.

you don't believe me ?

yes, when they really apply to the max cashout rule, it needs 20 years to have the withdraw completed. but, what I've heard, they make exceptions on big jackpots.

Your post could have been taken as a joke, yes :D

Think of it....Someone hitting a 7 figure jackpot at one of the worst PT's (actually, worst casino in general) out there? That's anyone's worst nightmare!

I haven't seen anything on the 32 Vegas site so far, but as I observed earlier, Playtech and its casinos are not quick on the draw in announcing these massive wins...and it only occurred Friday, so there's the weekend hiatus to slow things down as well.

I think I'll sit tight on reporting on this one until something more specific is available....

sorry forgot to post the link:

Sorry, but I need to see further proof. What's their source?

That's an affiliate site, and to be honest, they could have just picked 32Vegas out of a hat, considering that they also promote them. Maybe their affiliate earnings for 32Vegas are low and they wanted to push more traffic their way.

There's still no report of this hit anywhere, including 32Vegas' website. The winners list hasn't been updated since July (Who knows which year, they don't list the year).

What's weird is they show a $2,060,189.01 winner on that page, but since both the figure is wrong, and the page hasn't been updated since last month, she's definitely not the one that won the Gold Rally JP.

update: The win above by Diane was from 2006.

ok, more proofs needed.

WinAJackpot.com is not an affiliate site, its the name of the Playtech Progressive Network. The source is simply the network itself.

another proof, a press release from WinaJackpot.com, Playtech's progressive Network.

the Casinos are often very late with updating the winner-sites, because they get no clicks.

Playtech confirms win

Rather long-winded press release from Playtech confirming the big win - relatively fast getting this one out.

DOUGLAS, Isle of Man, February 5, 2008 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Playtech (AIM:PTEC), the designer, developer and licensor of software for the gaming industry announces that WinAJackpot.com, the first progressive network to combine online, mobile and land-based jackpots via Playtech and its subsidiary Videobet, has delivered a jackpot payout of over $2.4 million. This is the second Gold Rally win in the space of 14 weeks to top the two million mark bringing the total amount paid out to date by Gold Rally to more than $33 million.

).

Gold Rally, a very popular progressive 8-line Wild West themed slot game featuring two interactive bonus stages, has become one of the leading (repeating) progressive games on the net today mostly as a result of its speedy replenishment rate, and numerous multi-million dollar payouts. Since its launch Gold Rally has paid out more than $33 million to numerous lucky jackpot winners. The game's fast replenishment rate is the main factor behind the short periods of time required to build up those impressive jackpots. Gold Rally is offered across Playtech's entire cross-platform product range, prominently featuring in mobile and land-based offerings in addition to the well-known online version.

Mor Weizer, Playtech CEO commented that "Gold Rally's latest jackpot has once again shown that Playtech is committed to delivering highly attractive games to the industry. Wins like this bring about an increased popularity in the game, leading to more wins in shorter periods of time. Playtech congratulates Rens and wishes him lots of luck in the future".
