God save Obama

Reagan a Socialist, never lmao:p Mr.Obama, well thats up for debate:eek:He has to be the most spending, globe hopping President in my lifetime. Mr. Bush did travel out of country but as I recollect it was to sneak in and spend time with the troops during the holidays. He also, I hope will be remembered for the great works against Aids in Africa, more than any other President did.

Mr Reagan, will always be remembered for standing up for those that yearned for freedom and didnt put up with any crap from anyone, even telling them to bring down the wall in Germany, that brought freedom to so many. How soon they forget, but I wont.

It pisses me off that others see the US as such a bad place and we are always the bad guys, when yet we are always the first ones to help out other countries in their time of need.

Im proud to be an American and dont need to do an apology tour to state so:thumbsup: Freedom is never free and it will always come at a cost, so that we are able to speak whats on our minds.

I just hope that the economy will turn around but dont see how it can be so under this Admin. When I watched the president on tv today over the Bush era and unemployment issue, he did more talking about dissing the republicans than whats most important, its those top earning companys and middle class folks that create jobs and keeps America employed.

We need to bring home all those jobs that American companys have taken overseas and give them a tax break to do so. Im about damn tired of having to talk to a customer service rep in India that I cant understand over my US owned cell phone and internet service, also some hospitals in the US are outing the jobs overseas as well. These are jobs that are needed at home and would be welcomed by those here that are unemployed.

Rant over for now, sometimes you just have to say whats on your mind, right?

Laurie

oh i so agree with you can,t tell you how much:thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup::thumbsup:

Forgive my "ignorance" please...

But, hasn't Mr. Obama himself declared he is Muslim? If so, then the title to this thread should read "Allah save Obama"...

Didn't Mr. Obama just take a trip to India, costing the taxpayers 3 trillion dollars? (I can't even FATHOM what that amount of money looks like)

Hasn't it already been proven that he has employed Air Force One MORE than any other president in history?

How many jobs has he restored in the USA? (Obviously not many as the unemployment level has remained pretty steady since he took office).

How has he decreased the national deficit? (He has only added to it with his many trips with his entourage)

If you think he is so great, why don't you nominate him for your next prime minister and let him tear apart your country as he is doing to the US?

Last Easter the Obamas attended services at African Methodist Episcopal Church. That would be believers of Christ. So I don't think Allah is a factor (and I think if he WAS Muslim and dared step into a Christian church the militants would be going apeshit).

Didn't Mr. Obama just take a trip to India, costing the taxpayers 3 trillion dollars? (I can't even FATHOM what that amount of money looks like)

Please don't believe everything the press (or Fox news) claims. That was just a number someone pulled out of their ass to stir the pot. Here is a link to CBS news on the story (I think they are pretty unbiased, I may be wrong though)-

Hasn't it already been proven that he has employed Air Force One MORE than any other president in history?

Could not find any actual stats on this one, maybe it is true, maybe it is a "fact" from another right slanted sight, I do not know. Not sure if it was true if it would even bother me, his job description doesn't specify doing all his work from the home office (Global relations are pretty important at the moment).

How many jobs has he restored in the USA? (Obviously not many as the unemployment level has remained pretty steady since he took office).

From 2008- President-elect Barack Obama offered an outline of his economic recovery plan Saturday, and jobs were the top priority.

American workers will rebuild the nation's roads and bridges, modernize its schools and create more sources of alternative energy, Obama said in the weekly Democratic address, posted on his Web site.

"The plan will mean 2.5 million more jobs" by 2011, Obama said. His Web site clarified that the plan would "save or create" that many jobs.

"These aren't just steps to pull ourselves out of this immediate crisis," he said. "These are the long-term investments in our economic future that have been ignored for far too long."

Agreed, this is moving way too slowly. I understand the alternative energy jobs not coming fast enough, because he has to fight the entire right on whether or not we *need* it  I don't understand why infastructure jobs aren't being created though, as this country dearly needs a lot of improvement (what ever happened to the power grid upgrades after the blackout of '03?).

How has he decreased the national deficit? (He has only added to it with his many trips with his entourage)

Not even bothering with this one. I am not great with finance, and there are way too many factors to research to even try  Will leave it to the experts here on both sides to continue debating this one!

If you think he is so great, why don't you nominate him for your next prime minister and let him tear apart your country as he is doing to the US?

No one will ever be good enough will they?
Has any sitting president ever satisfied the country while in office?
And with the party separation as it is at this time it sure as shit won't happen. Nothing Obama might do will ever be good enough for anyone who is dead set against him being our President, and sadly because of this he backs down way too often and nothing is accomplished (nothing on the level we need it to be at least).

Closing note-
I'm not in love with the 'Bama myself. I hoped for way more, I wanted things to change. I know expecting miracles was silly, but I hoped for some small ones. Maybe in years to come I will see things that are hard to spot at this time with all the division in this country drawing attention away from it, I hope so.
Last night I was watching a special about John Lennon, a man I always respected for not only his music but for his mind and bluntness.
This quote by him really struck home-
"They pick a president, they put him up there and then they set fire to him because he couldn't solve their problems" John Lennon

You may get your whole way to busto
No need to call anyone ignorant here.
It's uncool

I'm sorry if the tone was overly adversarial, but I frankly don't think its an exaggeration in the least. It's been discussed ad nauseam and it can be easily exposed as a smear by spending 10 seconds on google. The name of this forum is political rants, so here's my rant:

Well over 25% of the American public continues to think Obama is a muslim. There is a high correlation of people who believe that and people who watch Fox News. The entire accusation is groundless, baseless, completely detached from fact, been debunked on basically every fact checking site that exists, and thus thinking so is in fact, ignorant.

Frankly put, after 2 years of campaigning and 2 years of being president, if you can't take a cursory moment to look up the fact that he's a Christian before dropping one liners based on the supposition that he's somehow openly announced he's a muslim when he has been a member of a Christian church for years and has discussed his faith openly in his autobiographies, speeches, campaigning, public addresses etc, then I'm sorry, but its my opinion that you are ignorant. Ignorance isn't an insult when it's being used as an adjective; words mean things.

Thinking Obama is a muslim is no less ignorant than thinking George W. Bush was one as well.

And seriously, I would love for anyone to defend the idea that any presidential trip in history by any leader to anywhere has cost even $3 billion much less $3 trillion (over 20% of the US National Debt, lol) as anything less than ignorant and uninformed. The right wing claim is that Obama spent $200 million/day in India.... more than the entire daily cost of the Afghanistan War (about $170 million/day). Yeah, right.

I think I'm going to go with the White House's explanation, which without specifying exact amounts says the trip costs were roughly equivalent to Bush and Clinton's trips abroad (roughly $2-6 million per day, btw).

You're right..... that you're ignorant, anyway.

look whos talking.

if what it say in your profile is true and your only 23 then your still wet behind the ears and have only been able to vote for the last 5 years.

let me guess you voted for the muslin who is trying to run the u.s into the ground right?

if hes a christian then i,m a leprechaun and have a big pot of gold oh wait if i was then he would have taken it by now to spead the wealth around.

did anyone teach you not to call anyone names until you have taken a very close look at yourself in the mirror frist.

now lets all play nice.

Really?!!?

Can you supply some statistics on this please? Can you please give specifics? That is amazing.

Is there also a high correlation of those who do NOT think he is a socialist that watch MSNBC or NBC nightly news or CNN?

Well I'm 28 now, and clearly better informed then most voters who have voted far longer than I, because (gasp) I actually find it worth the time to read up on the people I'll be voting for who run the country rather than forward email chain letters that have no basis in reality. Besides, your age doesn't make you more accurate, it makes it even more embarrassing that you would question someone's religion and ignore fact because you happen to dislike a person's political policies.

And its pretty offensive to claim someone's not the religion they state they are, beyond the fact that its silly. If Obama isn't a Christian you aren't either.

let me guess you voted for the muslin who is trying to run the u.s into the ground right?
We can debate all we want on how well he's running the country, since this is strictly subjective and deals with opinions, but to state that Obama is a practicing Muslim is incorrect. It also carries racial overtones that I don't like and have no business whatsoever in this forum.

But its pretty clear, the right wing does what its done for years, play on people's fears, biases and bigotry to promote its political agenda and candidates. Fox News will continue to push its "Obama is a muslim" soft talking point, and ignorant people will eat it up because they either don't like his policies, dislike him because he's black, have some prejudice because of his name, dislike him because he's a democrat, whatever. It's no different than how the right wingers used to demonize gays and have pretty much dropped the issue as society actually has come to understand that gays aren't some subversive group secretly plotting to undermine the american family. Hopefully they'll one day realize that black candidates, especially ones who have taught constitutional law at a University aren't all terrorists with a radical liberal agenda bent on instituting Sharia law. It's pretty telling that I even have to write that sentence to explain the state of current public opinion, lol.

I guess its not entirely surprising, he is the first black president. I guess its just lucky at this point he hasn't been assassinated by one of the many fringe nutjobs. Regardless, from a policy perspective he's been a fairly decent president. Clinton, was more effective, but considering the oppositional noise machine he has to deal with, its pretty impressive anything gets done. And regardless, he's a clearly far more intelligent, decisive, and fiscally responsible president than GWB was in his policy making.

I don't think Obama is perfect, he's a flawed candidate from a flawed political system. I don't think he brought near the change of the political system I was hoping for in terms of how money is gathered, spent, and what groups have political influence. I did vote for him in the last election for a number of reasons, and I don't think that vote was even remotely a close one if you were paying attention to the debates. I think probably the best reason is the Republican's nomination of a clueless and completely unprepared figurehead like Sarah Palin who has to write notes on the back of the hand and has about 0 understanding of domestic or international issues. I would certainly be open to voting for someone else in 2012, and in fact would probably prefer to if such a candidate existed, but I don't think its likely any will emerge that really mirror my priorities, and I think Obama is probably the best an increasingly politically polarized country is going to see.

Certainly none of the commonly speculated republican candidates (Newt Gingrich, Sarah Palin, Mitt Romney, David Petraeus etc) would get my vote, nor would any of the hyper partisan obstructionists that basically have been spending the last two years trying to hijack our political process. There's a few Republicans (and a few Democrats) I'd consider voting for that I think still operate in the world of sanity. The remaining sane republicans I'd consider voting for are candidates such as Ron Paul, Fred Karger, Gary Johnson, etc.

You had me until you mentioned Ron Paul. Would you really endorse a candidate who is rabidly anti-choice, and who is happy to take money from Stormfront?

I'm not saying he's an ideal candidate, but neither is pretty much any of the other candidates. I wasn't really aware of the Stormfront issue, but after reading it, the issue seems to be about a $500 donation made to a white supremacist. I don't really think $500 is that objectionable of a donation in the world of Texas republicans being linked to white nationalists (lol), and he specifically said later he didn't support white nationalism or want Stormfront's endorsement. I guess he also had a newsletter go out with some pretty objectionably racist comment as well from a supporter purporting to be from him, but has stated he didn't write or authorize it. White nationalism is pretty strongly linked to government reduction/elimination (sound familiar tea party?) but just because they have fairly despicable social ideas doesn't mean some of their economic ones don't have merit (again, sound familiar tea party?).

I'm pro-choice as well, but I think if a candidate was otherwise very strongly aligned with my political positions, I'd at least consider holding my nose and voting for them if they were personally anti-choice assuming I felt that they were unlikely to try and legislate their personal views, and its pretty unlikely that a candidate who shared most of my other priorities would try to imo, since they'd either assume the public has more or less decided on it at this point (which is true, currently around 65% think a woman should be able to choose) or just think that other issues were more important. I also pretty much think Roe v. Wade at this point has been substantiated enough in stare decisis that its settled and extremely unlikely to be repealed in any real capacity such as a Supreme Court challenge, in fact I think its extremely unlikely an abortion case will be granted certiorari in front of the Supreme Court anytime soon even with the political ideologues Bush put on the bench, so I don't particularly think a candidate entering the white house who isn't specifically an anti-abortion activist poses much threat to the legality of those procedures, although I guess you could make an argument that it would be pretty unlikely that any government funded medical program would include provisions for them.

Anyway, none of that is a defense of Ron Paul or his positions or whatever, just an explanation that his positions on international interventionism (or lack of it, lol) are a lot more rational than the current republican platform, and thus I would at least consider him.

But its pretty clear, the right wing does what its done for years, play on people's fears, biases and bigotry to promote its political agenda and candidates. Seriously?? I've been a member of the conservative movement for many, many years and never realized that I was fearful, biased, bigoted and racist. Only an under thinker, I believe, tries to paint political ideology with such a broad brush. You may be surprised to know that MOST republicans (i.e. right wingers) are FISCAL conservatives but social moderates. Someone has to remind the liberals that the national debt has to actually be repaid at some point.

By the way, do you believe, George Bush hates blacks so he blew up the levys in New Orleans, hated America so he helped plan the 9/11 attacks and was so driven by oil profits the he went to war knowing with certainty that Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction? Of course!

bryan i never said he was a practicing muslim.

and seeing muslim is said to be a religion and not a race i don,t see how that

would carrie racial overtones.

Wow!!!

Once again it is the screaming liberals that are so caught up on RACE! Why do you keep mentioning race like it is some issue? It is not an issue with conservatives. The only people that keep mentioning it are liberals.

See... you THINK you are more intelligent or more informed than conservatives (most libs do for some odd reason), so you THINK the reason is ignorance, racism, bigotry and stupidity on the conservative side. Nothing could be further from the truth.

Conservatives are FISCALLY conservative for the most part. They are not like pilgrims who don't want any rock and roll music or dancing in their town. It is not like that. it is FISCAL in nature and not social.

Look at most small business owners, entrepreneurs, law enforcement, management, non union workers.... These are mostly conservative voters and they are conservative about money. Not about your sexual habits or social things like that. Opinions vary too greatly and people have too many different standards socially to be split in half. However, fiscally, people are split in half. Either you are for bigger govt., more govt. spending, more cradle to grave entitlements or you are for keeping your own money, making your own decisions and more freedom. Period.

People, like myself, that are fiscal conservatives don't hate religions, minorities, majorities, rich, poor, tall, short... etc. it is not about hate or ignorance. It is about doing what is best fiscally for the country that we live in. You and other liberals need to get past race issues. You are the only people bringing it up.

Yes, some people will be ignorant on both sides. One person may say Obama is not American and is a muslim cleric. On the other side someone could still be waiting for "free obama money that he is giving from his stash"

Or do you want really ignorant? Try here:

If you are the student of politics that you say then certainly you know that conservative fiscal policy is far more effective than liberal policy. Check out Jimmy Carter's term then compare it with Obama's. Eerily similar, eh?

So rather than just assuming that Fox News is promoting "Obama is a muslim" which is totally incorrect and no more legitimate than actually calling Obama a muslim and rather than assuming that conservatives are hillbillys that sit around and soak in information from foxnews which you believe to be brainwashing stupid people with incorrect information why don't you take a long look at fox news and find the spots where they continually state that Obama is a muslim. shows like Bill Oreilly's will do quite the opposite. He will degrade anyone who says that.

In other words, you thinking that fox news is racist and promoting things like Obama being muslim is just as ignorant or more ignorant than actually calling obama a muslim.

Ron Paul IS an ideal candidate. Since when is Ron Paul anti-choice? That is the absolute complete opposite of who Ron Paul is and what he stands for.

I can understand if he rubs a lot of people the wrong way, and people tend to not like the fact that he's in his 70s (too old perhaps to become President... but this is Ron Paul... a guy who makes teens on Red Bull look like they're lacking in energy), but I can't think of a more honest and straight-forward politician... EVER! If you listen to most politicians and their big speeches, I find that they aren't really saying anything. Ron Paul has a long-history of backing up what he says, and he couldn't be more clear for everyone to understand.

I'm not even from the U.S., and I can recognize that.

Lol, did you really just post this and then follow it up with a link to Michael Savage, the guy who has said that Arabs are "non-humans", said that all Muslims should be deported, and for being fired for MSNBC for telling a gay caller "why don't you go get AIDS and die you sodomite? Go eat a sausage and choke on it. Are there any other callers who want to call in angry because they had a bad night at the bathhouse?"

But I mean, that's just who you listen to right? It's just an opinion right? Nothing bigoted to see here, can't believe anyone would have a problem with any of that. Let's not even get started on his denial that autism even exists, lol.

It's difficult to say if any one particular conservative is, but its easy to say that as a group conservatives do consistently elect representatives who cynically work on people's bigotry to round up votes, and you certainly give the biggest bigots (Beck, Coulter, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc) a ton of media success. It's good that the conservatives have non-whites to continue to be scared of, now that America has pretty much moved past thinking that gays are going to corrupt your youth and undermine the nuclear family.

Then why did the most stereotypically neoconservative president (GWB) inflate the national deficit more than any other president in history. It's very interesting to here the claims about how republicans are the fiscally conservative party, because, well they aren't. I mean it sounds good in soundbites, but conservatives are, for the most part, the party of fear mongering guised as "traditional values". There's absolutely nothing in the current republican party that has anything to do with fiscal responsibility and that has been noticeably absent since Barry Goldwater.

To put things in perspective for you:

Expired Image

And btw, the small spike so far under Obama is about 90% the remainder of the Bush authorized bank/auto bailouts. So far Obama has basically two stimulus packages that have contributed to the national debt, both of which have been agreed upon near universally by economists as necessary for the stabilization of the US economy.

Complete laugh at the myth that conservatives have practically anything to do with fiscal conservatism, they are responsible for the most completely out of control defense spending, and through the deregulation of the financial industry for some of the biggest domestic government spending as well via the auto and bank bailouts that have been seen in the history of ANY nation.

If you are the student of politics that you say then certainly you know that conservative fiscal policy is far more effective than liberal policy. Check out Jimmy Carter's term then compare it with Obama's. Eerily similar, eh?

Why don't we compare Clinton's to Bush's since they both had recent presidencys? Hell, compare Clinton to pretty much any recent Republican president for that matter.

HOLY COW!!! Ignorance is amazing.

Lets attack this absolute muck one at a time:

1) Its not a link to Michael savage. Please learn some reading comprehension. It is a link to youtube. I am not quoting Michael Savage nor showing anything that HE said. I was showing you that ignorance is found on both sides of the isle. I was quoting the CALLER. Please pay attention and quit sidetracking the conversation.

Actually that further proves that you are not talking about issues. You are so sidetracked on who is racist and who is bigotted. YOU are the one fixated on that. THAT is not the issue except apparently in your mind.

This had nothing to do with Michael Savage and he wasn't quoted. It was on YOUTUBE along with countless other examples of ignorant leftist voters. Yet you try to turn this into a debate on Michael Savage. It never was. It has nothing to do with him. Pay attention from now on. I'm embarrassed for you on that.

2) NO, I do not listen to Michael Savage so quit assuming things about people and come up with facts.

3) You really want to bring up bias and MSNBC??? Really? How about Olbermann and Mathews being shut down for being overly Liberally biased on air? MSNBC has the lowest ratings on cable news shows because they are so very openly biased to the left it is sickening.... and you make a pointless statement that a conservative was fired by that network but don't mention the liberals that dominate the stage there having the same thing done and saying even more outrageous and biggoted things than savage? How amazingly ignorant.

4) It is easy to say that conservatives elect those that work on their fears? Are you completely void of logic? You make broad sweeping comments with no facts. It is embarrassing for you whether you realize it or not. That is just a WRONG comment. It is not the case. There could be a few examples, but no more for one side than the other. However, it could be shown that RACE baiting and class envy and such is used by the liberals constantly to get votes and drum up support.

5) AGAIN you bring up racism. Who in the hell is talking about racism here other than YOU? IT IS YOU who cannot let the race thing go. I couldn't care less what the skin color of a person is. Green, orange, pink, brown, yellow... who gives a flying F*(&)???? Oh, I guess only you do since you cannot get it out of your mind that it is an issue.
You think that conservatives are scared of other races and you attribute that to foxnews. I guess that is what you have been brainwashed into beleiving. It isn't true. Go watch fox news for a few weeks and find out for yourself.

Liberals keep bringing up race not conservatives... as you are proving so eloquently.

and on one more big note. Please check yourself with the comparing of gays to minorities. it is not even from the same tree.
Gays have never had to fight for rights like freedom to vote... or freedom in general. It is a disgrace to compare the civil rights movement to the homosexual movement.

Why don't we compare Clinton's to Bush's since they both had recent presidencys? Hell, compare Clinton to pretty much any recent Republican president for that matter.

Please go read a book.

Let's compare the ENTIRE enchilada then.

As I have had to point out prior on this board.

Clintons first few years were tragic. He was getting embarrassed on every front. He (at the time) had enacted the largest tax increase in American history. THEN what happened??

The CONSERVATIVES stormed the congress and took over control in a landslide vote very similar to what just happened in November.

Now, CLINTON gets credit for the balance budget act that was passed and for the economy upswing at the time. However, clinton VETOED the balance budget act that Gingrich and the conservatives wrote. He VETOED IT 3 TIMES before being politically FORCED to sign it. Now he wrongly gets credit. If the conservatives had not taken congress then Clinton would have had us in a similar situation to Carter and Obama.
It is quite simple. No country on earth has ever been able to tax & spend itself into prosperity. Socialism/communism does not work. It never has for a long time. Look at Greece as a recent example.
Clinton gets credit for things that the conservatives forced him to do. He did not initiate any of it and actually fought against most of it. He was busy trying to get Hillary care and other socialist agenda passed.

On one more note. Please stop thinking that conservative and republican are the same thing. They are not. That is why many republicans are getting ousted right now if they are not conservative. The groundswell of conservatism is pushing out ALL liberal/big govt. types regardless of their party. They are not one in the same. That is what is so important about the teaparty right now. They are forcing conservatism and they don't give a damn about what party you are affiliated with.

Me: Ron Paul IS an ideal candidate. Since when is Ron Paul anti-choice? That is the absolute complete opposite of who Ron Paul is and what he stands for.

Oops. My bad. I know Ron Paul as someone who is a 'defender of personal liberties', so I assumed he wasn't 'anti-choice'.

I guess I'm done arguing with you, you have essentially zero response to anything I'm saying and you predicate your entire argument on one anecdotal example of some call in idiot to a radio show run by a bigoted host that you clearly listen to regularly.

You don't need to be embarrassed for me, you have plenty in yourself to be embarrassed for, specifically just repeating boiler plate republican partisan politics with zero insight or intellectual honesty.

If you want to separate republicanism and conservatism that's fine, but then please don't pretend that practically any elected republicans are actually conservatives. There are more conservative democrats than conservative republicans. Conservatism died with Goldwater's political career.

And you're right, its easy to be fixated on republican/right wing bigotry because there's so many examples including the one you just gave us, thanks for the reminder of the prejudiced individuals who are the figureheads of your party.

Olberman left MSNBC over a contract dispute (namely he didn't feel he was getting paid well enough) but I wouldn't generally pick him as a great news anchor anyway. Maddow is still great, and still at MSNBC. Pretty much everyone at Fox is a biased puppet that I've seen, but honestly, I just change the channel now since every single "news" episode is just a right wing talking point smear campaign. Let's let Jon Stewart explain how Fox "infotainment" works because its certainly not news:

Your posts are factless, baseless, ignorant and nonsense.

A) you make assumptions at every turn. No, I don't listen to Michael savage. Period. Your wrong.

B) I am talking about when Olbermann and Mathews were taken off the debates because they were SO VERY partisan that it was disgusting. Here take a look since you likely werent aware or paying attention:

C) Fox news really biased? compared with whom my liberal friend? Take a look at some actual stats. Or how about you actually watch fox news for a day or two and realize what it is your talking about. You may find that refreshing.

As for Dunn's complaint about Fox News' coverage of the Obama campaign, a study by the Pew Research Center showed that 40 percent of Fox News stories on Obama in the last six weeks of the campaign were negative. Similarly, 40 percent of Fox News' stories on Obama's Republican opponent, Sen. John McCain, were negative.

On CNN, by contrast, there was a 22-point disparity in the percentage of negative stories on Obama (39 percent) and McCain (61 percent). The disparity was even greater at MSNBC, according to Pew, where just 14 percent of Obama stories were negative, compared to a whopping 73 percent of McCain stories—a spread of 59 points.

D) Your opinions are worthless without facts backing them up. Please try to keep facts alive in your debates. There certainly are NOT more conservative dems than reps. Look at the health care votes. The bail out votes. It is totally out of the realm of reasonable to make such a ludicrous comment. More embarrassment for you.

E) "My party"??? What exactly is "my party"? you are so presumptive. You know nothing of what you are talking about. What is "my party" if you know so much?
My comments are not cut and pasted from conservative talk show hosts. Take a listen to them some time then come back and read my posts. You may be surprised that they are not.

I'll tell ya what. Live some life a little bit. Experience the world a bit more. Get some experience and maturity under your belt. Then come back and have a FACTUAL (meaning not your guesses as to what is what) debate at that point.

lol, you quote Michael Savage when talking about bigotry and now you are quoting George HW Bush's speechwriter who wrote an opinion piece on a right wing publication when talking about who is more biased. What's "negative"? Who decided what was "negative"? Conveniently left out of the article I see. The Pew Research center is also widely considered a skewed conservative think tank. Fox News is the absurd station that just mirrors whatever the right wing talking point is, and has long been passive accusing and reinforcing the belief that Obama is a muslim, terrorist, and all the hyperventilating rhetorical drivel that Republicans have come up with questioning his patriotism, religion, etc. Complete joke of a network.

and probably if you want to have a "factual' argument as you claim or "live a little" or "mature" you wouldn't make ad hominem attacks about how I need to "grow up" to try and illustrate your point while citing out of date articles and political bigots and ideologues who are obviously partisan and writing articles with undefined subjective terms.

You're right, they are paraphrased conservative talk show host talking points rather than directly cut and pasted..... aside from Michael Savage lolololol.

I bet you have a hoot watching Glenn Beck put on his tin foil hat and walk around in front of a chalkboard as well.

bryan i never said he was a practicing muslim.

and seeing muslim is said to be a religion and not a race i don,t see how that

would carrie racial overtones.

It has racial overtones because being Muslim is strongly correlated with being Arab, and your denial that he's a Christian (which again has been well documented, and always been his religion) which is as factually incorrect as claiming he is a muslim.

Just one question.
If you don't 'ever' listen to That bigot Michael Savage (period) just how did you come across the Michael Savage video you posted? You seem very familiar with the contents of the video, for not having watched it.

Fiscal Conservatives in political office are like Lepricians... they are hard to find and when you think you have found one, they disapear... along with the Rainbow and 'our' pot of gold.

I know of no politico that is a true fiscal Conservative.
Problem is there are way too many Radical Social Conservatives that pretend to be Fiscal Conservatives during their political campaings... but after being elected, we find out they are really Radical Social Conservatives that want nothing more than to force their religion and their personal morals down everyone in Americas throat, as they spend us into TRILLION Dollar Debt.

What I want to see is a Fiscal Conservative who is also a Social Liberal... That is someone I can support.

are people really this confused and simple? Is it really that hard to just take my words and believe them rather than try to find out "how is this guy lying"?

GAWSH it is irritating.

Here is how I found it:

I remembered the lady shouting that she wanted "free obama money" and I could use that to show stupidity on both sides of the isle.

I went to google and typed in "FREE OBAMA MONEY"

Then this youtube video came up:

and on the right side is a list of similar videos. I watched several of them. The one happened to be with Michael Savage and it was relevant so I posted it.

Anymore questions? If you know he is a bigot (which I was unaware of) then i guess you must listen to him an awful lot. I don't. Period. He is not on any station that I listen to. I have heard of him but know almost nothing about him. Quit inferring that I am being dishonest.

Now THAT is something we can agree on! I think the Libertarian party is the closest thing at the moment.

Your article re: Olberman was written in 2008, if you'd been paying any attention you'd know Olberman not only was put on coverage both before and after the debates during the 2008 debate cycle, but he also covered the election day, the inauguration, and continued to anchor Countdown afterwards.

Gawsh... I know when the hell it was written. I know when the hell the debates were taking place. you are not a good reader or you dont retain information very well. Do you even know why I brought it up?

It was in response to YOU talking about Michael savage being fired from MSNBC for saying outrageous things. I pointed out to you that the liberals have the same thing happen to them. Yes, they were demoted from the debates because of their ultra liberal views on air.

pay more attention or stfu. it is annoying when you don't get the most basic of things said in a dman post.

OK reading comprehension troubles you.

Please show me WHERE THE HELL I EVER QUOTED MIchael Savage????

SHow me or shut it. Your constant misunderstanding of the most simple things is overwhelming. I will not continually point out your same errors over and over and over. You are going to have to absorb SOME of the things you are reading here youngster.

This is the 3rd time now. Unless you find me a thread where I quoted this man then you have no right to keep saying it. Lest I have as much right to say you keep flashing old women on the bus. Same validity.
