The sighting of a man dressed in a goat suit on a Utah mountain is causing concern among state wildlife officials, The Associated Press reported. :what:

The man, who remains unidentified, was spotted by photographer Coty Creighton on July 15 during a hike on Ben Lomond peak just north of Ogden in northern Utah.

While officials said what the man is doing is not illegal, they're concerned as the hunting season approaches that he could be mistaken for a goat or attacked by a live goat. :eek2:

Maybe he's a documentary film maker - someone like Timothy Treadwell?

[derail]Did anyone see the movie "Grizzly Man"? Although maybe he had empathy for the bears and felt they were being maligned by society and whatever, but I saw the movie and IMO his elevator didn't go all the way to the top if you know what I mean. [/derail]

Not sure what they're doing but no sign of a filming, appears to be in a goat outfit and living with the herd.

I too love documentaries, especially ones on Gorillas, maybe you're correct. :)

Or Seventh777 might be on track, not sure, some sort of goat fetish maybe. :eek2:

Update:

This week, however, the mystery was solved.

Phil Douglass of the Utah Division of Wildlife Resources said he received a call Monday from a 57-year-old Southern California hunter who explained he was merely trying out his goat suit in preparation for a mountain goat hunt in Canada next year.

"He gave me enough details about the area and the situation that it made me feel confident this was him," Douglass said Tuesday.

"In talking to him, I felt he was very knowledgeable, a very experienced hunter. He's hunted internationally," Douglass added. "My concern all along was that this person needed to understand the risks, and certainly after talking to him, I felt he was doing the best he could to understand and mitigate those risks ... He was simply preparing for a hunt."

Goats are a very crude animal and regularly cock their heads down and piss in their own mouths, they also eat flora that contains drug related chemicals like Liberty Caps, so `im gambling that a guy dressed as a Goat has a fair chance of being sexually attacked by a randy Goat on acid, if he`s in the wrong place at the wrong time, or, as may be the case, the right place at the right time :eek2:.

hmmm seems pretty dangerous to dress up like a goat and hang out with goats when other people are hunting goats...or maybe I'm just getting too unadventurous in my old age.
