Glen Beck Fox News biggest mouth piece... The only thing you can believe is.... He's gonna be sorry for what he said...

I sense that Glenn Beck has seen somthing.

He has a certain demeanor about him like someone who has seen something that is big. You know what I am trying to say.
I can even verbalise it too. He is perpetually uncomfortable about somthing.

Personally I trust the guy.

I like Beck also. I never listen to talk radio but do watch his show. He's hard to follow with all the SCI, Van Jones, Sorros etc, as most of it is a bit of stretch, imo. Good props though.

But when he talks about economics you should pay attention, again imo.
As far as the apologies go not really an issue for me. The country has become a bunch of pussies. imo.

Generally, if a person is willing to admit they're wrong or apologize them they're ok imb and I usually give them a pass. It's the hard stubbon folks like Limbaugh and Palin for example that I can't stand.

I might add, did Beck steal the "e" logo from Internet Explorer?

I mostly just find him humorous.

When I first heard him, I truly thought he was a joker, like Stephen Colbert making fun of Conseritives. It took a bit before I realized he was serious...

But when he talks about economics you should pay attention, again imo.
LOL if you want to see Economics in action. Put Beck and Jim Cramer(Mad Money) in a room and lock the door... Beck will be reduced to a quivering pile of jelly... in seconds... IMO

Funny about Beck... his radio show usually gets me laughing. He and his sidekick are genuinely funny guys. Regardless if you agree with him or not, he is very entertaining. I happen to like Beck quite a bit. I would think I am in the majority as his ratings are exploding.
FWIW, I think that O'Reilly is the biggest name on that network though for talk shows.
Still, all of these talk shows are not the news. They are opinion shows. Their opinions are often the correct ones though and time shows that. They have a solid lineup and probably that is one of the many reasons why they dominate the ratings. Also, probably that they are the only network that doesnt lean left with the news so they get everyone who is sick of it or leans right... or likes to see both sides and might view for comparison's sake.

He's on his way out anyway, his television viewership has dropped over 1/3 since his "Restoring Honor" rally, and there's only so long that you can make bizarro land claims like that George Soros and a cabal of liberals and socialists are conspiring with Islamic jihadists to bring about the apocalypse via worldwide political chaos before people just tune you out as yet another tinfoil hat nut job conspiracist.

And no, I didn't invent that above paragraph, Beck actually believes that, lol.

Any more, I think that every one in the media that keeps things stirred up is the good guy or gal. It doesn't even matter what "side" they are on. Just keep the masses wound up so they become "better citizens" and pay attention!! Makes for more knowledgeable voters. (hopefully)

I always thought O'Reilly was grounded in his views, but that's just my opinion. I think if you watch all the different news "perspectives", you can make a reasonably informed, intelligent decision on what the truth really is.

Maybe I am naive, but it has worked for me all my years as an adult.

I feel the same way as Jod - keep the citizenry aware of what's going on in society and government... and interested enough to vote - the more votes the better, and imo the media -for all its downside - serves a vital function in democracy by presenting different perspectives and encouraging the electorate to judge for themselves.

Choose the vehicles that you find most credible on both sides of the argument and there's a better chance of you ending up with a more informed and balanced take on issues.

I heard on the news last night he was leaving Fox.

He sometimes gets the piss taken out of him by UK comedians for some of his more insane rants, as did Bush for his command of the English language:rolleyes:

I am sure he will turn up somewhere else, unless he has REALLY sinned, and Fox have got rid of him.

No-one over here can watch Fox news and keep a straight face:D
