Hi Guys,

I would like to bring up the topic of misleading emails - particularly free sin offers that have been hitting the online scene like the plague. There are plenty casinos jumping on the bang wagon but being transparent about there offers is something they are not keen on doing.

From one of my latest posts in the thread 'Ongoing Diabolical Promotions' we see another offer of a 'Whopping 50 Free Spins' for a deposit of 60 Euro. Fair enough - 50 is 50, but can we be specific about the value of those spins?

Today, I challenge all Casino Reps to have this changed. If YOU are committed about being fair and transparent to your players then you need to add a value to those spins.

So you have 50 Free Spins - Tell them that it is actually worth $5 for a deposit of $100.

Who is keen? Who has objections? - Please participate.

Trada and Thrills have been the only ones i have seen actually stating the value of the spins in their promo emails.

Rizk is pretty clear as well as they have 3 different Free Spins types --> Free Spins, Super Spins and Mega Spins. The emails and SMS tell you what it is, hence a Rizk regular will know immediately what value he is getting. I might add that the winnings are WR free. (Thrills also)

For the others i always assume it is just the minimum bet.

More transparency would be certainly welcome, after all we are not just some dumb folks happy to throw our cash at any offer, no matter how bad.

Getting that whopping 50-100 freespins @0,10€ from a 100€ deposit is like having a 5-10% deposit bonus. Not very intriguing really.

Of Course I can understand casinos' perspective since tens or hundreds of free spins sound way more attractive than offering that up to 10% bonus (sure you can't really tell that's what you're going to get since those spins can be pretty much anything less or more). Still many players might not understand the actual value of those spins, especially when they have no way of finding out that value beforehand. On the other hand, does somebody really expect those Starburst spins be nothing more than 0,10€ / spin I also feel that many new releases from different software providers have that 0,05 - 0,10€ minimum bet just for having that available for free spins offers

The issue is that most manufacturers are rolling out 10 line and some 5 line slots. A lot of players are not familiar with every single provider.

Play'n Go for example have a WHOLE catalog full of 10 liners and recently added Fire Joker to that. Its a 5 liner - Minimum bet of 0.05c. I've seen a few offers of 100 Free Spins on Fire Joker only to log in and they are on friggin 0.05c a spin!

NextGen, NetEnt, Quickspin and others also have this small minimum bet and casinos are jumping on it to offer spins which may seem like good value, but you are kicked in the teeth when you log in.

Anyways, I can only wait and see who will commit - Apart from those who do not intend to mislead their players, i can't see too many takers.

Exactly the way i see it too! Also note that those 100 spins NEVER guarantee their total value. Many players will never even see 40% of the value of those spins.There will be winners, but in general the Free Spin offers turn out to be more value for the CASINO than for the player. Its costs less for them to offer a deposit bonus.

in this case i had to log in then click rewards, only then did i find out it was a deposit offer to get FS.

Certainly much better but to be fully transparent with players they should note the value of the spins.

That way you know whether it is worth to take up. But normally you only find out after you made the deposit and open the slot for the FS.

I think it's usually safe to assume that any free spins will be at minimum bet.
And unless the casino is actively trying to piss off / lose customers, they'll be maximum lines

But when they're offering so called 'Super Spins' or 'Mega Spins'.
There's a big difference in what value each casino considers a 'Super Spin' to be.
So the value should definitely be shown in these cases

The 'Super Spins' I regularly get from Casumo are worth €2.50-€3.00 Each
But the 'Super Spins' I won from a CM/Betat competition were only worth 50p (twice minimum stake)

(obviously, I don't play at Betat very often now)

I hear you and I also wanted to start a thread about that. Super Spins to some places are low value - Everyone decides their own value - We should have a standard in place TBH.

WRT the Spins - I always maintain that not everyone knows the minimum value of the slot. An example would be IGame who offered 75 Free Spins for 10 Euro on Great Wild Elk - Whilst Kaboo offer 50 Spins on 60 Euro. NextGen are not as popular as NetEnt and I could also be fooled thinking they might be 0.20c or 0.25c.

We do automatically think that free spins are set at default value, at least at reputable casinos. There is nothing preventing any casino from mentioning this in a bullet-point underneath the promo, it would take all of five seconds. Not to mention the exact denomination of each type of spin promo.

But with some, I fear adding these details will lessen the impact and sheen of what appears to be a great promotion. They know that punters will just notice the number of spins or the words 'super' when reading the email.

Players need to know exactly what the offer entails, no one likes opening up spins to find reduced paylines, or even better spins allocated over several days for example.

As per the Casumo post, well explained agreed, doesn't tell us the value of FS or cost per spin tho still. I fell for that Spectra offer Tuesday, yes should have known better but hey ho, wouldn't need to know better if the email told me.

As for offers, I can understand wager free FS been kind of limited/restricted as this can although unlikely be a 'danger' to the casino. However wager based stuff there is simply no excuses.

As i said in my first post in this thread i think your system is pretty transparent. Every regular Rizk player will know what value the spins are and on which slots they will be.

Would just welcome once in a while a change in the slots selection to mix things up a little, e.g. change TwinSpin to Fantasini.

Just gets very routine when the FS are always on the same games.

I love the new improved prize pool but I have just one question.
How can people possible get 3000 - 4500 race points.
You get 25 points per level plus maybe a few race points from the wheel rewards.
I play quite a lot at Rizk but I can never ever compete with those people.
Also I see often the same players appear in the top 10.

Either they have too much money or time on their hands.

On topic:

A lot of casino's do not state exactly what you get when playing FS.
Could be minimum bet or decreased amount of pay lines.
