I am a bit amazed as to why there aren't any 'Real Money' casinos available for iPads and macs. Is there any out there??... Imagine the convenience.

I could not think of a better way to keep myself entertained on those long airport waiting lounges and boring days away from my PC.

As above. There is quite a few casinos now that you can play on your Ipad etc. Most of the casino are Microgaming but NetEnt has just become part of the market.

The problem was at the start Apple did not allow "Gambling Applications" They have only just recently allowed casinos to add apps to the app store.

If you go to the Fortune Lounge website on your iPad, it will automatically redirect you to the mobile casino. Not too many games. Thunderstruck, Tomb Raider, Mermaids Millions, and a few more slots. Black Jack as well, I think.

I acnt seem to find them on appstore though... how do you play fortune lounge on your ipad.... sorry for stupid questions

You just go to their mobile sites, Is there a casino in particular you want?

here is
You do not have permission to view link Log in or register now.
Just chose Iphone as the device.

same deal just chose Iphone as the device.

Edit: Or you can do as above.. this didn't even cross my mind.. need more sleep I think.

All casinos from Viaden Gaming have mobile version and you can play using any device which does support HTML5.

BigCasino even has an application in App Store for iPad / iPhone / iPod (available only in UK) - Old / Expired Link

LAPTOP

These days, you have INTERNET connec' almost everywhere.Believe me,you would prefer to play your own pc (laptop?) and not mobile casino.Huge different between them.Maybe in the future the apps will improve...

One of the biggest problems with MG is that they have progressed as far as 'not moving at all' within the last few years. Their mobile product has remained pretty much the same lame game for a very long time. The technology exists and Smart Phones / Tablets / Pads have much more memory and processing capacity to deal with these kind of demands.

I can tell you now that there isn't really a HUGE market or demand for this and new games...enhancements will be indicative of the demand when it is (and if it is) introduced.

I would imagine there is very little demand for mobile gaming purely because as others have pointed out. The software is lame, the slots are far far far to few to even bother going through the installation process and getting started imo

Mobile FTW

I actually think that mobile gaming could be pretty cool. Touch screens provide a lot of tactile possibilities. Actually pressing on the screen to pull a slot machine lever sounds very cool.

I've never dealt with iOS before, but compiling work from Java, Javascript, and Flash into an Android application is pretty easy. I used to have a long commute on a train and will probably have one again. I used my tablet A LOT during that time, and having a little fun at a slot or video poker would be a great way to pass the time.

Thank you for all the above answers much appreciated.

@mattsgame - thanks for the links mate and yes I have played those versions but again lack of games is ridiculous.

My point is ... there is definitely a demand for it if you want to create it... Look at mac/apple .... did anyone think that there would be a demand for a phone that you could use by touching on it's screen ... they didnt follow the market... the market followed them. I can only imagine the possibilities when a casino finally decides to launch the 'tablet' versions of all their games not just a crappy few that can work now.

Having said all that I believe there are probably casinos currently working at it as we speak and we will be pleasantly surprised in the near future ( Me Hopes!) :)

Cheers

I completely agree with both of you. In this day and age you would think most games would be available for mobile devices. Especially since the platform has been out a while now.

The thing with Microgaming is they don't actually do the mobile versions per say, they collaborate with Spin3 calling it GameWire as far as I recall.

Will have to see how many NetEnt release as it is fairly new for them.

Cheers
Matt
