Hi, everyone I joined GamStop in June 2018 when I did my self-exclusion I did not realise that it would block all the casinos that I played at and any new ones that I joined. I am just wondering if you can recommend me a casino to play at that's not on the self-exclusion scheme. I haven't been able to play at my fav casino, then it wasn't participating but now on the list and my account got blocked.

Any decent casino you would normally be able to play at before joining Gamstop should be on that list.

Any casino that will allow you to play is the sort of casino you should not be playing at anyway.

As Viking said since you joined Gamstop to stop you gambling you shouldn't really be looking for casinos to gamble at anyway.

If you joined Gamstop because you have gambling problems i dont think you are going to get much help here from members to find casions for you if you are having gambling issues
Sorry, I should have explained a little better, no I haven't got a gambling issue I just wanted to block the casinos that I don't play at anymore and only keep the ones that I like open. At the time the ones that I play on the most wasn't on the GamStop participating list.

There are about seven licence holders left in the UK that haven't fully integrated GAMSTOP yet and to be honest you wouldn't want to play at any of those casinos :p

If you chose to opt into GAMSTOP, then at that the time you were serious about quiting gambling.

I'm afraid I have to agree with the seasoned members here - if there werent any gambling issues, you could have simply ceased to play at the other casinos or closed your accts.
Veteran players would be negligent in recommending any casinos to you.

Gamstop has always been about self-excluding from all UK licenced casinos. I'm sorry but I simply don't buy the OP reasons. This sounds more like someone with a problem who is desperate to gamble and it would be irresponsible for this forum to help you gamble. You could have simply self-excluded from the casinos you didn't want to play at

Find all this GameStop and the like gestures.
If a person wants to quit gambling they will without the help of such tools.
Of course it’ll help some, just find it a waste of time tbh.
Responsible gambling can be sorted in so many better ways.

How is Gamestop not a useful tool for problem gamblers? Instead of having to self exclude at every single casino, you can now do it one place, thats brilliant and huge step forward for better tools.

Hi, @trancemonkey I totally understand where you're coming from, but I really don't have gambling issues. I joined GamStop thinking it would only block the sites on the list at the time. I didn't realise that when other casinos joined GamStop that my accounts with them would also get blocked. I only have chosen the 6 months exclusion so it ends in December anyway.

The question then begs what will happen then. I hazard a guess you will get the 3rd degree from casinos and will have to make some effort to have your accounts reopened. I am guessing you will have to send lots of source of wealth requests etc in.

Keep us posted please how it goes in December.

See my other Gamstop post in this section. I guarantee excluded players' business will not be welcomed in many casinos when the selected SE timeframe is finished.
