Entry #5

Book of Madness II appears to be the kind of game that will take 150x from your balance before you're even properly sat down so out of the 2 games on offer for this contest, I would only be interested in playing Dead Legion any further. It did have a slightly higher min bet than the former, but in only a short time of playing it, like 150 spins or so, I had 4 wins that would qualify for the contest, while BoM took "forever" just to produce a 10x. Also, on DL, the bonus appeared to land easily (twice in quick succession) and who doesn't like that? The bonus game had an exciting atmosphere and the sticky wilds you'd want to see appeared to land with ease - although obviously not as easily in the exact spots where you want to see them. Still, a good game based on my brief encounter with it, and a nice introduction to Gamomat, which for me is a provider I've for some reason tended not to play. I also noted that even in the casino I play at, with most providers on the lowered rtp-setting, these games were in fact offered at 96+ which maybe means they are not available at any less, which if so would be very nice to see.

I said above that I would revisit Book of Madness 2 to get second bonus so I did.
Dead legion seemed to bonus easily but Book of Madness seems to rely more on nice base wins in order to balance the books.
Talking of books, hitting three books on BOM is not easy. In fact if I ordered 3 books off Amazon they would arrive quicker than they do in BOM2. However the potencial for hitting it big on the free spins is obvious. I got the Nurse Lucy Letby with my feature and just hitting three of her in a spin is quite rewarding so five of her visiting would be very rewarding indeed.
All in all two very nice slots with the possibility of hitting something huge on BOM2

Book of Madness 2 review:

I'm not sure mechanically what makes this different to Rise of Merlin or any other book game with extra symbol chance except that you can't do the 1-line strat. As a game mechanic it's strong, and there's nothing wrong with it.

The cosmetic madhouse theme is well done for those who like that kind of thing. All in all I would be completely ambivalent between this and something like Rise of Merlin.

Book of Madness II’s graphics are definitely a deliciously creepy upgrade! Visualize the original hospital.......but now having even more spine-tingling regrets for snagging “bonuses” that pay out like a salt shaker.

If your bonus pays less than 100x, it’s time to file a formal complaint with HR....if HR even still exists in this dark abandoned madhouse.

Chasing just a 10x win for entries felt like my longest marathon in a straightjacket, as my innocent balance slipped away quicker than dignity at a hospital gown fitting. By my second deposit, I completed my entries. Insanity ruled throughout my gameplay.

The bonus feature shamelessly grabs similarities to PlayNGo's Legacy of Dead, racking up gold loyalty points for each new expanding scatter thrown in like an overenthusiastic nurse tossing out bandages.

I still shiver, remembering the day nurse Vile-entina wheeled me through the spooky 2nd floor ward, strapped into a soiled wheelchair and sporting slightly loose restraints. Her mysterious bandage tassel swinging like a haunted pendulum as her gleaming emerald eyes froze my sanity into frosty hibernation. It was her strange liquid-filled syringe that got me here unexpectedly!

When I get out from this, I will loosen these restraints, I will run like the wind. I will open my laptop, maybe open "two tabs", forget my crazy encounter with that sewer breath crazed nurse and forget that place.....by managing to line up these expanding symbols across all 5 reels. I will achieve that full screen glory of epic madness, however most spins just hand me a prescription for mild disappointment and a heavy dose of subpar dead spins so yeah, that's what I'll do!

This playful yet sharp Gamomat take should fit perfectly with style and keep the chills alive while staying true to it's original observations.

Experience with Book Of Madness II, a 6 out of 10! Nurse Vile-entina's breath during her capture, 0 out of 10! Running away in fear, wearing a hospital gown and stripped of all dignity, priceless!

By the way as it hasn't been mentioned above that I can see, anyone using AI or a bot to complete this review task will booted from the comp, publicly humiliated and have Rylan sent round their house with a bottle of baby oil. :eek2:

It doesn't mean you cannot be using a casino that's not featured on CM, if you look at the rules there are starred examples that are grey zone or not featured here. The ones above them with links are featured. The lists are just examples that have the Gamomat games - I think you'll be fine using the site you play at, @conker will confirm.

@satchnz as Dunover said, if you can find the qualifying games and play them for real money then you can take part.

Entry 5

Book of Madness II has the same game idea as Rise of Merlin, bur one clear difference is the feature: Rise of Merlin starts with 8 spins, Book of Madness II 10 spins.

I've always liked original Book of Madness because of the graphics and the game music, I think the second version will continue on the same path. There are a lot of Book versions on the market, but I think Gamomat's versions are among the best when reviewing the visual aspect of the games (after BoD of course :D) .

I haven't played the second version enough so I can't say more about the game itself, like what the hit rate is or how easy it is to get bonuses on average. But I'll continue testing because quality-produced book-style games are my passion.

Don't threaten me with a good time

My review on book of madness II
Well putting aside that I got a right good kicking on it last night, going near 1000 spins for a bonus that paid less than 50x had I known or realised it was so brutal in the base would have played with far more caution.

Sound and visual wise is great, and it’s certainly opened my eyes to try some other gamomat slots.

However I’m hoping that as they are sponsoring this promo they will reviewing our feedback, having only played the two games so far I only have 2 negative things to say however they are big ones for me.

So gamomat this is for you….
First one, and this has been an issue on other providers but there really is no need for a max bet button so close to the start button, not only is this close but it’s ridiculously close, about 10 pixels mouse wise. If you insist on keeping it at least move it away from where it is now.
Second is the stake up and down looping, IMO in no way should pressing down a stake result in a possible max bet, and as far as I have come across the only provider that does this. When playing a slot I tend to hammer the stake down button to min bet and go from there I would never expect it to loop back to max pressing down from min bet.

These two points do come across a bit predatory to me and would normally make me boycott such a provider, however as casino meister has sort of affiliated I’m keen to see if any feedback will be acted on in a positive way.

So to summarise, pretty good so far, like the games, like the visuals, sounds, min bet options, only faults for me are the two mentioned, oh and maybe a space to start option 😁

Review of Dead Legion

Since this is the game I spent the most time on it's only fair to write a review about it. First of all this is a clone of Roman Legion, just with a slightly different theme and updated user interface. Now, about that UI... I understand providers want to make their slots look modern and whatnot but the old UI was just fine, if anything please go back to it.

About the game itself: unlike its predecessor Roman Legion where a bonus was always within reach I never had the feeling I could get the scatters. The volatility seems to be upped a notch and returns are harder to achieve. That being said, except the UI, the updated graphics of the symbols are nice to look at. It's especially important whilst enduring all those dead spins.

All in all I'd give it a 2.5/5. But please Gamomat: go back to the old UI. And while you're at it: give casinos only 1 RTP option and it being 96%. Be different.

My thoughts (maybe for 5th entry):

Book of madness 2:
Very cool-looking slot with great graphics. Interesting theme. I didnt get any big winnings when I tried it. For me its a little bit too difficult to hit anything decent in the base game (as it is too often nowadays with new slots imo). All possible good hits or major wins are packed to freespins.
Bonus feature is good and at least I managed to get to freespins-feature pretty often in a quite short period.
Game mechanic/ functionality is very good. Everything runs very smoothly without any lagging or any other tech-issues.
Overall Id say its somewhere near 8/10. Pretty good game but is there just too many "book of"- games nowadays, I just keep wondering that. For me Book of dead might just be enough.

Nice win, glad to see it can do over 300x which is all I managed so far and my stats have just improved to a disgusting 61% RTP and that’s after some wins. Yeah ok not even 3000 spins but it’s like playing a hacksaw in the base for me, seriously wondering if I should give in anymore tbh, what you think I should do was running at below 40% for quite a while. @ChopleyIOM
