Hi All,

Yesterday I registered and managed to get a nice win on Gamebrookers online Casino. I tried to log back onto to there Website this morning but I got a message saying my account had been closed!

I have tried phoning them but there phone line is always engaged and as yet they have not responded to my email.

I have racked my brains all morning as to the possible cause of this "account closure" and then a possible reason came to me.... About 20 months ago I self-excluded myself from Bwin and I have noticed Gamebrookers have a tie in with Bwin.party.

I was hoping to get some feedback from the people on this forum if this could be the problem and if so has anyone been in a similar position before?

I really hope I don't have have a problem withdrawing my money but I have a nasty feeling I may face a struggle if this is the reason.

Thanks all.

I played at Gamebookers Sportbook and Casino in last 6 years almost every week. No problems with my payments..ussualy paid in few hours.. Support it's avergae good (I use email for support)..
Try to contact next week..probably it's weekend and support it's not there..Good luck!

Thanks for the good wishes!

You will probably be right and they will be closed today, im conerned about the money I had in my account as they have now decided to close it :(

Yes Gamebookers is definitely owned by the 'bwin.Party' company, so it's possible that your win triggered a review of your account, and they linked it to your previously self-excluded account at bwin. Closing your Gamebookers account is probably the ethical thing for them to do with a player that self-excluded from another site in their group.

Hopefully your funds are released back to you, let us know how it goes.

Its normal. They also own partycasino. When winning with partycasino they stall payouts for 3 business days on winning players so I always self exclude me for 3 days when cashing out with them. Then my accounts with their other casinos is closed during those days aswell.

Support takes long time. You must email and wait a few days. Live chat is useless at their casinos.

You will get paid in the end, but it takes time.

Hi Folks,

Thanks for the responses..

So if this is down to case of my being self-excluded from Bwin (and thus has worked its way to Gamebrookers), is there a good chance I could get my winnings?

I notice they are very slow at responding to emails! Is there any specific I should say to there support team to help in my quest to claim my winnings?

Surely they shouldnt have accepted my bets in the first place if the Bwin tie in with Gamebrookers if the problem?

Thanks all.

I don't think it was intentional, they probably don't immediately check when people open accounts. Like I said it was probably your win that triggered a review of your account.

I can't say if there's a good chance of getting your winnings, but if you tell them that you had no idea that Gamebookers is related to bwin, and that you intended for your self-exclusion to only be for bwin and not for other sites, then it may help.

ps. there's no letter 'R' in Gamebookers :)

So thats been a week now and I still have had no response from Gamebookers from any of my emails I have sent them and every time I try and phone them there number is engaged!

Does anyone know if Gamebookers have specific opening days/hours?

I notice they list a company called eCOGRA on there website, is this where I should direct any potential complaint/dispute?

Thanks

It's possible the number you've been calling has a temporary problem, I would try an alternative.

They seem to have 2 main numbers:

00-800-7278-9145

0011 800-7278-9102

If you've only been trying one of those numbers then perhaps try calling the other, hopefully that will work.
