This is kind of interesting. My husband and I go garage saling on the weekends when we have nothing planned (well, he has nothing planned lol)
We enjoy it for the walking around outside and going into different neighborhoods

About 9 years ago I saw a box of Score 1990 Football cards for sale for a $1, it was a whole box of like 303 of them. I put them away in the closet. The other day I was watching tv and saw baseball cards on a show. I totally forgot about my football cards in the closet. I took them out and looked through some of them to see if I knew any names that were popular. Then I went to ebay just to see if they were worth anything

One of the cards is a Dan Marino thats selling for $10(same exact card) and others were about $2.99 a card. I have 303 cards. Not all of them are popular of course but any suggestions out there as to what I should do.

Should I : Leave them in the closet for another 10 years?
Get the popular laminated like the ones on ebay?
Sell some of them and save the others or sell the whole set?
Find a card store somewhere and ask them?

These cards are all in excellent condition even not covered because they have been in a box in dark cool closet so theyre not discolored or bent
I even have rookie cards. And here are to name a few of the cards I have that I know of (i dont folllow football so if I know the name, I figure they are popular lol)

Bo Jackson, reggie white, rodney peete, marcus allen, joe montana, troy aikmen, john elway, willie gaut,

Also in the box is a set of these superbowl trivia cards that have this coating on them to change when you move it with stats on the back. THey are small.

Thanks for any help you can give me because Im clueless. I just buy stuff when I have a feeling and its $1 LOL. One time I bought a fake rolex for $1 , sold it as fake, it was a great fake, the jeweler had to take it apart to tell and I got $100 for it!

Hey Babs!

Funny you should ask this question today. We always seem to be thinking about the same thing. Kind of creepy huh?!

I need money so I am trying to sell my Hockey/Baseball cards. They never want to pay you what the Beckett guides say they are worth. At least that's been my experience.

I would hold on to any cards you have. They will only go up in value.

I know that with the 1990 Score HOCKEY cards they over produced them and they are pretty much worth pennies except for a few rookie cards. I am not an expert on Football cards though.

Geez...I just scrolled down the page to see who else is in the forum and I'm the only one!!!

I've never been the only one on here. Wait, I'm talking to myself arent I???

Oh, no ones watching me! I can do whatever I want! Hmmmm...:D

If you need the money that bad sell them.If not keep them in the closet.
Just keep an eye out for what they are worth.
I have things that I got for 10 to 25cents and a year later they are worth 12.00 and now they are at $18.00
Hold on to them as long as you don't need the cash.
Remember down the road from now The Kids in the family so they can enjoy them too.
