New Slot Announcement Finn and the Swirly Spin - Netent

Tried it out in fun mode. 1 euro bet size. Took 300 off the balance before it gave a few hits here and there to bring me back to the original balance.

Then it rinsed and repeated the nose dive and I promptly left. Typical Netbent....

It felt so different from the usual drivel from Netent which was quite refreshing but the Netbent variance quickly reminded me why I don't play their slots anymore....

Oh yeah! Netent Slots are reviewed at Casinomeister - to include their associated casinos! Woo woo!
I've only played it with free spins from LeoVegas's offers.

But I'd NEVER EVER play it with my own cash.

It must have the lowest hit rate of any NetEnt game - 8 out of 10 dead spins

I too had 50 fs (for Thanksgiving @Guts), paid only $2.75. Not my cup of tea this slot, although I must admit the graphics are not bad.

They where for thanksgiving? I presumed they where for my deposit last night. I don't think much for their rewards. I got the impression that the free spins for level up where set at 10% RTP

No I had another 20 fs for my deposit yesterday - these paid $0.24:D:rolleyes:

Yep, this slot is a vicious money-eater.

I've just deposited £50 to get 100 free spins on Finn and I feel humbled to have won £10.15 from those £20 worth of spins. But I am assuming that the further you progress in opening the bonus rounds the better the potential is of getting those big wins? The expected rtp is 96.5 or so

With my limited game play on this slot I get the impression that you would have to invest a fair bit of time and money before it realises its full paying potential. The base game just doesn't justify spending so much time and effort to find out.

That's the thing though: with these developers' new releases we're seeing high variance gameplay with low to medium payouts.

I'd love to know how on earth anyone can get a decent hit on this, certainly not in the basegame, nor in the first unlocked bonus with the useless extra stars. Add 'Netent Variance' into the mix and it's a recipe for disaster....

Even worse is how it doesn't even give you longevity- I lost £18 on minimum bets in about fifteen minutes to win a paltry £6.

So even though it looks hv, factor in the multitude of dead spins too. And if you ever gets that big hit after ploughing hours into it, you can rest assured that you may just about break even (at best).

A terrible, terrible slot that is about as player-unfriendly as it gets. But to quote Netent's motto: "Better Gaining"

I deffo think that it is a slot that requires a lot of loyalty before your likely to hit anything really big. I will avoid it until I see what all of those other unlocked bonuses are about and if they perform kindly.
Until then Finn can feck off :D

Edit. For me Netent started with this assumed high variance appearance without giving high variance hits when they introduced Motorhead

I got 100x bet and 85x bet on the first time playing it. I've nearly unlocked next level on Leovegas, it's not a bad game just start low and raise on the back of big wins. Standard procedure

...and how many offers have come thru today for deposit based free (sorry extra) spins on this Game eh?

Virtually zero risk to the casinos whatsoever, customer loyalty recognition at its finest once again

I mean 1p and 2p wins WTF!

Bed Time!

I agree absolutely none. The only one was Royal Panda which I wasn't eligible for...What happened to Casumo giving free spins on a new game? they never ever do now. Greedy casinos mate!

Spinson are doing 500 'extra spins' for £150 :rolleyes:

best offer I had, which I took, was for 120 x £1 spins for £100 at LeoVegas on Wednesday, and managed to get £122 from them.

Still never managed to beat the wagering. So It's like you say, it cost them nothing, even to give such a decent deal

I've not dismissed the game yet. I will wait to see how things are when I can see what the other levels are and if if they can bring home the bacon :D

I like that NetEnt tried something new, but this one's been a dud for me. I think the spin mechanism is just slightly too complicated. Something like Moon Princess or the other Play'N'Go "Match 3" slots it doesn't take too long to get a feel for how the symbols are going to resolve. You can get excited because of where the wilds are going to drop, or when you get reliably good patterns like the replicating side by side wilds (as long as the symbols on either side don't match). With Finn, I find it's far too hard to work out where the symbols are going to land, and that's before you factor in the exploding wilds. So instead of getting excited, I just think, "Huh." And it's disappointing that the free spins rounds are all just the same as the random bonuses. Some variety there might have helped.

I've got to say, though, I'm surprised at the reports of extremely low pays. I've found it pretty generous. I've not played more than a few hundred spins and I've had 5OAK diamonds at least five times, often just given out as part of the beer mug bonus. It felt like a pretty solid medium variance slot to me, just hampered by a sadly rather dull mechanic.

They have added this slot at Sky Vegas a long with DOA and Jungle Spirit.

I have decided to unlock all the features just for fun but i am only playing on minimum bet of 10p a spin, I have 4 keys so far and best feature win was 40 x.

I finally managed to get a win over 100 x and just need 6 more keys to unlock the last feature.

I got the win from the third bonus the lucky mug free spins it gave me a full line of diamonds for 50 x.

I finally unlocked the last bonus and i can see the potential in it, Just a shame you only get 2 spins.

I will try it again at some point, I would like to see what it pays if it changed loads of symbols to diamonds.

This is what it paid, I upped my bet when i only need one more key to unlock the last bonus.
