Just looking at the link, I noticed Layers of Fear. It was a free game on XBox Live a while back, which I actually played!
From recollection it was a bit of a walking simulator but very atmospheric indeed.
Oh and despite this, I still managed to get stuck a couple of hours in. I didn't 'quit' or nothing
