Isn't human evolutionary biology - nature? :D

I don't wear hats indoors - and I like dumb. :D

Saying you like me wont change the score im afraid.
But i appreciate the effort, and will take it into consideration for your next evaluation.

In the meantime, i recommend watching this.

So, why is that more important than reading about evolution you may ask.
I will let this gentleman answer that question.

Fun webcast Bryan, and thanks for the book recommendations. I'll definitely have myself a copy of the Fermi Paradox. :)

If you find that stuff interesting, you should also read "The dark forest"
Its a proposed solution to the fermi paradox.
But like the name suggests, its a bit dark.

Edit: Also, @Casinomeister should ofc check it out if he likes the fermi paradox.

I like the sound of this fermi paradox, I didn't realise it was an official argument, I've wondered in the past does the non-existence of extraterrestials [so far] make a creator [god] more or less likely?

The scientists keep saying other planets millions of miles away could sustain life but there doesn't seem to be intelligent life out there, so why didn't evolution occur elsewhere. [ Is it like an RNG ]

On the other hand I've often felt hollywood films about aliens [ encounters, ET, independence day etc...]could have been deliberately made to prepare the public for the existence of aliens to be announced and people are then prepared for it and don't panic.

Like they would dare come here while Will Smith is still alive.

Not to mention Men in black.

I kind of like this theory.

I will have to study this theory a bit more  brain is overloaded at the moment, I just checked the age of the universe, 13.8 billion years, and if you think of man's progress in 2000 years it's quite something. The dinosaurs are another enigma, coming before us and dying before us I guess, just checked that, apparently 65 million years between our presence on earth.

Dont fall for the myth about Dinousaurs being here before us.
Watch this documentary and things will become clear.
Also it has Dinousaurs armed with laserweapons, wich is pretty cool.

It's over 4 hrs! long with cartoon graphics lol... I'll only invest that sort of time if it qualifies me to call myself a professor or paleontologist at the end of watching it

Well i mean, its all the Dino-rider movies all in one.
And it may or may not be a show i used to watch as a kid, and not a documentary.
But whos to say it cant be both an awesome kids show, and also the truth!

Also, its not the only show featuring Dinousaurs and humans interacting.
This one is also highly recommended.

The intro was like a documentary  I thought it might be a hybrid... there's nothing quite like revisiting the old cartoons of childhood, dogtanian, vicky the viking, godzilla, don't suppose those names mean much to a young pup like yourself :p tv was great in those 80's days, monkey, grange hill, the flashing blade, water margin

I could take over Bryan's thread and reminisce all week!

Ahh, never even knew there was a show aswell.
Tho i find it hard to believe it can stand up against Thundercats&Dino riders when it comes to being cool.

I use to watch that thundercats, good stuff, I don't suppose you had the pleasure of watching this series:

no wonder there was a big boom in hallucinogenic drugs in the uk about the same time, right that better be my last post on children's old tv

That was scary as hell. :D
Not seen that, but i saw "Skrotnisse" a Swedish show, not sure if it ever got translated to any other language.

Made with puppets, but the hands and sometimes the mouth were real.
Creepy.

Since this will also be my last post about old kids shows, i must also include the one that was probably coolest of them all.
