So. I'm new here to CasinoMeister but so far i've found it to be a wealth of information. I wish i'd found this place years ago. It's awesome.

I'm just very curious to know what some of you guys favorite slots are. Not totally from a payout perspective. But just your favorite slots in general. My favorite right now seems to be Immortal Romance. Even with it's remarkably long cold spells. I'm also very partial to Hot Ink and i've had a lot of success with the respin feature on it. But my all time faves have to be Tomb Raider SOTS and Hitman. If i'm having a bad session i always seem to gravitate back to those two and more often than not can recoup some of my losses or end up evens.

So whats your faves?

Riz

Thunderstruck 2 (which Immortal Romance is a clone of) is my current favourite. The original Thunderstruck is always at the top of my list along with Playtech's Great Blue and Fantastic 4. I'm also partial to a bit of Katana (Novomatic) lol.

My one and only experience with TS2 was a *one shot* Celebration freeroll tourny recently on 32Red. Won me 50 nonus credits which i turned into a hefty win. Planning on dragging myself away from my usual slots at some point for a session on it :)

Those of us in the US have so few to pick from in terms of different software, but I am partial to:

RTG Software - Big Shot, Paydirt, Return of the Rudolph, Sunken Treasure

Liberty Slots - Jurassic Slots, Safari, Winter Wonderland

Top Game - (caution, not many here have good things to say about Top Game sites....but I still play there) Fruits, Grave Grabbers, Gone Fishing, Mad Orchestra

Some of my favorites! :3

I enjoy a lot of games across a number of platforms. Some I even just play for free! (because I can't deposit everywhere. :p)

In Microgaming:

Thunderstruck & Thunderstruck2. I really like the freespins feature on Thunderstruck 2. Thunderstruck is my 'play for pay' when I have the cash for a deposit.

As something of a gaming/reading nerd I love to play LoTR, Hitman and Hellboy.

In Netent:

I can't get enough of the Robin Hood: Shifting Riches That shifting wild thing is pretty awesome. I've been having a heck of a time finding a Net Entertainment Casino that'll accept an Israeli player, though. :/

Other slots of interest in Netent that I particularly like? I love Boom Brothers and Crusade of Fortune.

In Rival:

This is another one that doesn't tend to have Israeli players allowed. Nor would I want to play at most/any rivals as a depositor. HOWEVER! That doesn't mean they don't have a couple of neat slots to play! :)

Rival has a number of great slots that enjoy- I really like the Rival 'Skill' bonus games. Flying Colors, A Stitch in time- the bonuses that feel more interactive. Those are the ones I love about the Rival slots. (I also like shooting down pilots in biplanes. Or picking up a minigun and going to town on some cyborgs. )

Playtech:

I like the Marvel Slots! :D <---Comicbook nerd.

RTG:
I'm not familiar with Real Time Gaming's games. A lot of RTGs are run from here in Israel, and don't accept Israeli players. I haven't been able to find a play for fun solution that doesn't require me to create an account somewhere. I'd rather not create an account somewhere I can't deposit. :p

There is other software out there too- Topgame (Another I have not played. Topgame again- not accepting Israeli players. Its an Israeli Company, I believe.) And many others, I'm sure! (Some people love Topgame. Some people hate Topgame. I am indifferent. I suggest caution depositing at any TG casino, but don't be afraid to make your own potential mistakes and give them a try!! It IS gambling afterall, right? ))

It truly sucks that in 2012 there is still restrictions on countries not being able to play certain softwares. If one software allows it why not them all?

Ive never played topgame but i do like the Rival slots. Definately like the interaction in the bonus rounds. I have become quite fond of a few of the netent games too. Especially Robin Hood and Jack and the Beanstalk. The rolling wilds are fun as hell and keep the session interesting. Usually give a semi-decent return too. The bonus rounds seem far more interesting and fun than the usual MG slots. Walking wilds is something MG should take a look at when thinking up new games. They need to stop creating more and more cookie cutter slots and show a bit more originality. For example. In about 300 slots on MG suite. I play 6 at most. On some Netent sites ill happy switch beetween 10 in one session and go looking for new ones in a different session.

More fun = More money played

.

My favorite Net Entertainment game is Piggy Riches :D

Simmo! mentioned Great Blue, and that game is in my opinion the best Playtech game!

On your first point I agree and disagree at the same time. I do not feel there is anything wrong about gambling. I do not feel that online casinos are a scourge that'll destroy a new generation of young, impressionable gamblers.

But, I don't agree on laws for moral grounds- apart from that whole 'No Murder, no Theft, no outrageous acts of violence.' The rest of it? My business ;)

At the same time, a certain amount of regulation is a good thing- it would bring player protection. I just wish I could choose to play where I want, when I want, with who I want!

As it stands- and the US playerbase understands, I'm sure- I'm not given a very large choice as to where I deposit.

And I'm just a dude who loves games... (regardless of type!)

On your second point: I feel Netent is what Rival always wanted to be. :p

Thunderstruck 2 (which Immortal Romance is a clone of) is my current favourite.
I don't think IR is a DIRECT clone of TS2 - there are minor differences.
To start with the free-spins bonuses are different (different number of spins) and people seem to be getting slightly better returns from the Wild Desire feature than the Shit-Storm feature.

But anyway, my favourite slots.... just FAR too many to mention!
I have loads of games that I love across multiple software platforms.
In terms of playing enjoyment rather than big-hit enjoyment, I really like lots of slots from NetEnt, Rival, Grand Virtual and IGT (WagerWorks).

Now thats an understatement!:p

But MG's Immortal Romance made it to the top of my favourites list, I love that game.
Break da Bank Again still No.1 though.

When I play NetEnt I usually go to Piggy Riches and Frankenstein.

My experience with IR, is that the wild desire feature is way way WAY better than the wildstorm feature in TSII.
Seem to be getting a little more good linewins too, compared to TSII, while the 4 scatter triggered features have been total crap, in 99.9% of the cases.

Net Ent:
Jack and the beanstalk
Dead or Alive
Piggy Riches

MG:
Break da bank again
Avalon
Santas wild ride
Immortal Romance

RTG:
Paydirt

MG
BDBA
World cup mania
Hallowiniees

RTG
Cristal Waters
Pay dirt
Loose Cabose

Net Ent
Starbust
Jackhammer
Devils delight

3Dice
ISS
Stick Shifter
Fortune Falls

Playtech
Wall St Fever
Geisha Story
Banana Monkey

For me, the WD feature is always a bust. Think i;ve only one once from about 10 times its hit the feature. That was about £10 on 30p play. My wins mostly come from normal play or the first set of free spins ( 10 spins @ 5x multiplyer) Best win so far came lowrolling on 30p a spin. Won £132 after the free sins. I,ve hit a few £300 plus on £3 per spin too. But hey. I mostly low roll and just enjoy the experience. Would love to hit a RJ sometime though.

You're right and the variance is higher on IR too. "Based on" would have been a better phrase than "clone of".

Biggest difference I can see to make it higher variance is that the substitute wild symbol is next to picture symbols on the reel layout. In TSII it is only next to 9,10,J,Q,K,A. So bigger potential and more dry spells. :)

As far as Wild Desire though I have never had more than 2 reels wild - so same as TSII for me in that regard!

With others on TS2. Microgaming did well to create a slot that complimented the orginal and yet created a whole new following of players. Rather than just taking exisiting players away from the orginal TS.
