Hey All! As a gambler with too much exp. at the games for money.I have had a moment to reflect on these casino's on the social media group's.My dear wife is not I repeat a gamer for money of any real time exp. and a loss of some of her client's has given her a bit too much time as of late.
Now we have been together for over 20 year's and I do love her greatly. So when I see that she does not have the fund's in her bank acct. that have been there for many many year's I question the loss? She was very reluctant to answer my query and I pushed to my dismay.

I have no experience with FB or any of the other so called social media sites.BUT I did look on as my wife went to some of the FREE casino's on FB and I watched as these game's that are not legal to begin with?pushed and coerced my wife into either quitting play or pay and continue that way.
These games are not regulated as online gaming is not legal in most of the US.But when I found out that these games take and take and drive FB member's into spending ungodly amount's of money. Not to win anything ,But your name on a page?I'am appalled by this mean's of making already rich companies and people even richer I have to say BS!

Now we here as gambler's have a reward for our play MONEY!!! But in this event it is nothing at all no payoff at all.My wife has fallen prey to uncaring faker's and their idea of a FREE game? The games play unusually like real time casino's on the free play mode/and they also even push the pay to play idea.
For instance i watched as my wife payed $25,00 USD to get an enormous amount of coins (200,000,000) coins to play these free games that will only allow you to bet at what the rate is on that machine.I mean the min. bet being 30,000,000 coin's per role.needless to say it did not take long at all for the 200,000,000 coins that had been purchased to be GONE and long before that happened play was stopped by more that 6 offer's at more coins at the right price.

I'm sorry but this is just robbery and by no mean's is my wife not also responsible for her action's BUT! These casino's are clearly only set up to rob unsuspecting member's of hard earned money.I have won more than my fair share on the money game's and I have gambled all over the world.but I have not seen this kind of robbery in my life and as a member here i think it is only right That I voice my concerns on this problem in our midst. If need be the $2500.00 USD my wife has been robbed of will be returned or legal battles may begin?Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

To be honest, I'd have a problem if theyre slots seeling themselves as legimitate with real deposits for real cashouts - but as for for-fun money, I dont much mind. My mother plays them to while away hours for kicks.
As to in-game purchses, again if its for extra playtime/play coins, again thats no different than video games witt mod purchases etc. I used to play an rpg that offereed real money purchses for extras, and ive bought a few..yes, its money for nothing with no tangible reward, but again, so is every video game ..if you like it and can be responsible with it, c'est la vie - who am i say if your kicks are pot, hookerrs or fb games.

My 2 cents is this. They are built to try and make people get hooked. I too used to play them but I never ever once bought any coins from any of them and never will. They are nothing but a waste of money for those that do get hooked and buy the coins in them.

Comparing these FB casinos to games that have micro-transactions is not really comparable. Apart from some of the MMORG browser games that are played in real time. And you can buy bundles with time speedups etc etc could be deemed comparable to a degree. Because you can easily buy and use the bundle within an hour, same as the coin purchases at these so called FB casinos.

What is more concerning is the amount of times you login to one of them and as soon as you load one, you are inundated with pop ups saying buy coins now etc etc. Sale now on etc etc. Sale ends in X amount of time. Which is also a lie, because if you login a few days later. the same pop ups occur with exactly the same messages lol. They are nothing more than a misleading lie and a joke.

The only fool is the people that do not realise that these type of online entertainment services are nothing more than worthless and I am sorry that your wife has became a victim of this. But I do not think it is possible for you to get your money back from them. Unless you actually did a chargeback on all purchases made to the FB casinos. And the chargeback could result in the closure of her FB account as well.

But chargeback might also not be an option if it has been a long period of time. I am not even sure what the rules are for chargebacks and what timeframe you have to actually do them in?

But I will end by saying. Do not be a fool and waste your money on these FB casinos. They are worthless and pointless.

My mother buys " game time" on Facebook games too. Its not illegal, but they are very addictive. I play poker on FB once in a while, when I have zero to do. That is free in the sense that you have the option to log off until it resets for more coins the next 24 hours or you can buy tokens and keep going.

Like anything it can go to the extreme.
Take drinking for instance. What substantive value is there for droopping 100 in a bar for something you can only use an hour before you piss it out? Well, the fun and entertainment I suppose. My mother doesnt drink but she enjoys spinning fake slots are fake rewards with her girlfriends
I dont like for fun slots, but I'd drop a bill for a few drinks or pitchers for 3 hours out. Diifenert kicks n all.
But you can be a social gamer and a social drinker.
You can be an fb games addict and a roaring drunk who blows his paycheques - and beleive me, for every wife blows wads on fb i can name as many guys 'out with the boys' putting a grand ding in the bank account.

Limits. Balance. Tolerance. Priorities.
Sorry your wife blew an insane amount - hopefully you both reel back.
But I dont think fb is necessarily the issue any more than a pub is.

Im not saying this is the case here, but a lot of women in mid 60's and over, do this quite a bit and I feel it's more a case of isolation. Those mystery games are a huge one for that age group.

True on the isolation. Though my mother has outings and girlfriends (and still works at 75) she has a lot of 'home/down time' with no kids running around and FB is easy and slots easier, than figuring out the mechanics of other gmes.
My mother calls me A LOT to help witht he computer lol, but fb slots is an easy click spin, collect game mechanic that doestn confuse her. I can see the appeal as an older generation is trying to come to terms with the computer age.

Can't say I'd derive much pleasure from Mickey Mouse play, via the medium of Monopoly money. And for them to have the gall to extract in-game purchases off me.

Of course these are the bane of the video game industry too, where it's becoming impossible to either a) receive a fleshed-out, complete product upon purchase or b) play a 'free to play' game more than 10 minutes without being bombarded with donation requests.

Yet it's one thing getting your 'kicks' off fake gambling as an adult, but I'm not sure if and how Facebook allow younglings to partake in these frolics. I should hope not.......

(won't somebody think of the children)

Shes tired and exhausted and will likey be her last year as it's harder on her body..but it definitely bought her a few years keeping up, out and active :)

I'm looking outside, and knowing I have to get out for my walk, and not wanting to. I cant wait for summer. I have missed two summers. One being sick, and the last summer doing treatments. Keeping active is so important. Guess I will suck it up and face the cold, after the next battle. :p

It's the kids that they're targeting.
Dig deep enough and you'll find there are links between these Facebook sites and some casino groups / games providers.
In fact some games started life on Facebook 'casinos', 'Big bad wolf' 'Goldilocks' and 'Rapunzel' are some that come to mind. They were on the Facebook sites, years ago, and have only recently made it to mainstream online casinos (with the RTP etc, adjusted accordingly).
Is it a coincidence that these games have a juvenile theme? I don't think so.

If Coca Cola were to start selling 'pretend' liquor to kids, there'd be uproar.
It's the same with the pretend cigarettes and other smoking themed sweets which were available when I was a kid, all banned now

Yeah my mother still works part time for the nhs. Over 60 age bracket. Worst part is often she doesnt even get time to sit down due to being overworked durin a 12 hour shift, and most times can just forget being given 20 mins to have a lunch break. Its disgusting tbh.
One thing i cant tolerate is patience with computers when trying to learning complicated things myself, so she dont understand why i get moody over explaining copy and paste for the 450th time ;)

OMG MOTHER ITS THE SAME WAY AS I TOLD YOU YESTERDAY!!!!!
:D :D

I believe that social media "Free play" slots which encourage real money purchases should be banned in all jurisdiction's because there is no monitoring of minors spending real money on them. There will also be no monitoring of punters getting value for money in their RTP.
These people are getting screwed via the back door

Great Input! I feel that the kids may make a far bigger slice of this particular pie than we know?I have already looked into the rules and terms for FB play and they refer all problem's and or feedback or refund's directly to the game creator's. I find this a bit out there as the game creator's also must pay to have the games on FB.
And we all know that an empty pot does not boil.So as far as I can gather theywill issue refund's on only a few instance's and then they will relate you to use another CC or bank acct. this is clearly a rip from the start! and if my wife had simply spent a few buck's learning the in's and out's I would say so be it.
But this is a matter of feeding the dragon, the dragon being the addicted player whom has not the ability or has denial on the brain. For whatever reason I will look into this matter as far as I can get and will decide if FB is really the place for my wife to spend her hard earned monies.
Let us US player's not forget the hell we have been thru trying to make a dime into a dollar. When the country will not accept what appear's to me to be the same method of madness!Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Hey shewoff,

I hope you were not serious when you said what I just quoted from your post, but just said it so at a moment of anger ?
Honestly, do not try any legal ways to recover that, it will just force you spend way much more than you can imagine ! And for no gains at all, but a way bigger loss ! They were covered by law 100%.

Just take the time to talk with your wife to stop playing the said games. Those games can be removed from her Facebook.

Keep it Safe,
Denis

i play scatter slots on facebook i am lvl 147 for over 4 months now ;) i never deposited as i rather gamble with my money also the offers are 4.4 billion coins for 19.99 up to 200 billion coins for 99.99 also i guess this is for all facebook's slot games at lvl 147 you need to make 40 bilions on a slot that pays 1 bilion per 50 billion spent so you need 2000 bilions to get trough that lvl meaning 99.99 x times , also i had 40 billions i lost em all on lvl 147 and i am at 12% so i need 88% more from those 40 bilions lol in order to unlock a new slot and get on with that lvl.

Why not play fun mode at a real online casino? No charges for extra coins, just exit and come back in. You don't even need to log in at many of them.

Maybe its the ingame rewards are the enticement and the socail espact? I know with one mom plays it adds to real reward conversions that gets her dinners and stuff when she goes to Vegas - she plays all year and at years end they convert to free free meals in Vegas.
