I have been wondering for a while what one would call it when you are classed as a bonus abuser because you signed up to more than one sister casino for the same group.

I came up with the word entrapment. BUT I want to know, would it make a difference in (y)our attitudes if we KNEW who these sister-acts were up-front?

And for the bonus-huggers (this is what I class myself as, because I dont like that other word! :p ) How do you think it would affect your hugging techniques?

personally, i think that if they offer bonuses for each casino in their group, they shouldnt call you a bonus abuser unless they specifically say in their terms "If you have an account at X,Y, or Z casino and have accepted a bonus on one of those, you cannot have a bonus at this casino".

From my experience, if you deposit often, play enough, win or lose, the big groups dont really bother you if you have taken a bonus from a lot of their sister sites. Maybe if you go around taking a bonus at each sister casino then wager just the very minimum, thats when they get annoyed and call you a bonus abuser. Not sure really, havent taken many bonuses.

--Jersey, thanks for the reply. I have been thinking about this quite some since there have been so many cases of 'bonus abusing' going on. Often enough the reason for the statement or the first question asked is "Have you played at any of our sister casinos".
I think it is hard to tell if you don't know who they are! do'h! So I was wondering if casino's should be asked, pressured into telling us who they are... and if it would change a damn thing? Frankly, I don't think it would to me, but to them maybe! ha.

have always wondered one thing

I have often wondered when I learned of this bonus abusing thingy and the 'sister casino' schpeal....

why would a casino give u the bonus in the first place if they know u have accounts at their sister casinos and have used bonuses to your benefit there?
Why doesn't the casino decline the bonus in the first place. Instead, they make players jump through hoops only to be told in the end that they are abusers. Seems to me they would be smart enough to know that is bad for business in the end. Who wants to return when they feel they have been taken or not dealt fairly with in the first place. I agree with the others here who have voiced their opinion on the subject; just state very clearly in their bonus terms who their other sister casinos are. That way there would be no confusion and save everyone on both ends time and trouble.

Because if you lose, they wouldn't bring up the subject of bonus abusing. They only bring it up when you win. Have you heard anyone who lost but then was told that they should not have been given a bonus and their deposit was refunded?? Hell no, I surely haven't!

-- Chop choi, if you keep your eyes on the boards, you will soon enough know who screams 'abuse' from both sides of the coin. The lying casino, or the lying player. Mostly , on the casino side, it is the smaller rogues with little to no money... who would look for any excuse to 'pack up your cash and go--go--go'. This is a matter of opinion mind!

I think it would be GREAT to see the bigger groups kick up a dust. Connect the player through all the casino's, give them a HUGE bonus to use across all the sister sites. any games, and 'normal' wagering requirements. That would be 'sticky' BUT you would know that at least you won't be acused of abuse because you inadvertadly play at a sister casino.

--- :) Again. Does aliens allow gambling?
