Enjoy the new games while they are fresh.....they will pay out reasonably well for the first few days then.:D :D :D :D :D " BANG." the game will go dead. Have you noticed how all new games pay well for the first few days then after the initial introduction they pay out LESS frequently..
WITCHES WEALTH , LOADED , DINO MITE , POLLEN NATION plus many more all paid out terrific with free spins coming up very often.Play them now and see how bad and how hard it is to get the free spins...
In one of my other threads re MG and in my opinion the casinos have the ability to turn off the switch on games, many of you guys disagreed with me, but you must agree that the games pay out well to start with then go cold. Or maybe it only happens to me....

I have to admit, while sceptical initially, I am starting to wonder...it is uncanny how it always seems to start well and go downhill after a month or so.

However, if you believe that, then you have to accept the slots are weighted.

Also, this isnt unusual. In UK pubs, they used to put in a new machine, whack up the payout percentage for a while, then when they came to empty the hopper, lower it.

Its all part of the game :)

What i'd like to see, is casinos post their audited percentage payouts for each game and not just across the casino. Some casinos would read that and go "yeah right", but the forward thinking ones will realise that it will draw players in.

Its like the "Reverse Withdrawal" thing. Some casinos get anal about reducing it thinking they'll lose out. The few that don't mind, will end up with more players and the better reputations over time. Already are in fact.

Tend to agree in part. I used to love Thunderstruck but last time I played after going thru a total of 1000 spins and no free spin triggered, I resolved not to throw any dough at this slot again. (same no free spins outcome at a variety of MG)

Though I've noticed over the years (maybe others too) that MG casinos go through what I discribe as waves/cycles. I've experienced times when for periods of a month or two no matter what I play at a MG casino I get burnt.

Some may knotch it up to gamblers mis-fortune, but I don't agree.

At times if the download version is not producing anything, my success is sometimes turned around by playing their flash casino.

Which to me is rather strange as I thought both versions (download & flash) would use the same RNG, yes/no?

Don't know if this explains it, but I was talking to one of the software engineers at a UK B&M casino, and he said that the reason new games pay out so well is that there hasn't been enough payouts for the internal algorithm to be able to accurately set the percentage payout.

However, after a while, the algorithm is able to determine what this should be and hence...less payouts less frequently.

Does this make sense? It did to me :D but perhaps online gaming is different to B&M.

Thanks for the input Trezz, although I think this is a different thing altogether. More to do with variance on older slots. Wayram's issue is that new slots always seem to pay more in the first month.

If this is what you call loose, then I'd hate to see what it's like when the new games stop giving. I haven't gotten a single bonus round yet on that stupid Harvey game....

I'm with you Tim....I love the game, I love the concept, but I can't hit shit on it. I've played it four times and all it did was eat my money at an alarming rate. First game that's ever done this on it's first day or two. For the most part I agree with this thread....that when the new games come out, they pay out awesome in the first week or so, then seem to shut down. But not this Harvey dude, he's just nasty!!

Last time it took me 550 spins on Harvey's to get the bonus round... Only to get 10 spins that total gave me ZERO. There is no bonus for hitting the bonus round.

I do think my average between the bonus rounds are about 250 spins. This is about twice the number than the normal slots.

I don't think you guys are right here, I always seem to not do as well with the games at first then get better after a while.

Judging from the above, i hope you are right :D

Skipping the fact this is turning into another Harvey's thread, there is a logic to doing this "start em high" thing. I'm sure it encourages more players to try out the new games.

I was going to say the same. In my experience, everytime I play new slot games, my money goes very quickly whether betting .45 or $45 a spin. I have had most luck about two months after the game's release. Could be coincidental but it has pretty much been the same pattern at MG casinos for me. As far as the cycles go- I totally agree with that. I usually win twice a month- around the 15th and 25th usually playing thunderstruck, break da bank and occassionally tomb raider, since she has taken a nap or something from free spins lately :eek2:

She's out in the field with Thor.....hmmmm, wonder what they're doing? :)
