Endorphina gamble, are you missing out on "free" money/RTP?

I'm just wondering if everyone is aware of the gamble function on Endorphina slots?

Basically you can gamble every win with high or lower style gamble.

If you pick a card that is higher or a joker you double your win, if you pick lower you lose, or if even you redraw. Importan to know here is that you can pull out when you see the card you need to get higher from.

The lowest is 2 high is Ace.

They also have listed the RTP for the gamble.

So, basically you should in theory look at the gamble every time. If you get a 2, then you are guaranteed to either win or get a redraw.
I know it's a bit of a faff to do it on low wins, but you can do it on freespins/bonuses as well (as long as they are not bought).

I had a few nice doubles from this.

Even if you don't want to risk it, if it is a 2 you got nothing to lose.

The average odds there are 92.92% for all cards combined. Therefore if they are telling you the overall RTP for the card gamble is 84% that means as well as 92.92% being crap, they've weighted the cards/compensated the gambles to skim another 8.92% off the player.

This would mean that the game would not sustain the strategy of only gambling wins when the first offered card is 2. Which to you the player is either redraw and walk or double your win. This would be done by the game not offering you a 2 or 3 until it had taken up the slack.

The way the game rules are written it does imply that a 2 is always worth gambling, as it’s going to only win or draw.

“The probability of cards being dealt is not being equally distributed” potentially making a 2 very rare, but should never be zero as that could be considered “compensated” likewise the face down cards are more likely to be weighted towards lower cards under this same part of the rules.

However, as they state the RTP % for each card, and in theory that should be static based on not being allowed to be compensated then playing a 2,3,4 would still be optimal, but I wouldn’t be trusting that play.

What jurisdiction are these games under, are they UK compliant for example?

It certainly would be very interesting to only gamble on 2’s to see what happens over time, as @dunover said would it just not give any 2’s after the first winning gamble.

If it did never give a 2 while the player is in front though how would that ever be allowed under any regulated jurisdiction?

There is another possibility, and the most likely compliant one, it might just be a clever way to get players to keep playing by giving them a guaranteed RTP bump, disguised as a player advantage element, while the base game RTP does its thing, if I had to guess this would be it.

No idea about jurisdictions, but Endrophina is a fairly known provider out there to be honest.

I also believe I had a 2 won the gamble and got another 2 on the next one , to then be presented with an ace on the third gamble.

I have no doubts its all correctly and fair, but I don't have any proof either way.

The slots otherwise sit around 96% RTP if you look away from the gamble element.

Yep, I only gamble when it's a 2. And often the game also shows a 2 then...
