Is it just me that are constantly reporting peoples posts?

I'm sure it has happened at least 50 times these last few weeks that I push the Thanks button and are instead reporting the post
I just go back and then it usually works but if I don't thank people then you at least know why.

Another thing I know I've said before is that I can just see the first page of my friends, and the first page of mine and anyone elses profile comments. As soon as I try to see another page I'm taken back to my 'About me' page. It's been like this since it changed what we see first when go to our profile. I know it's my own fault since I asked for the changes back then

Not had any issues with clicking the desired icons such as “thanks” or “did you find this post helpful?”

Are you using a touch enabled interface that may need recalibration? Only a guess here.

I’d run a security scan on the computer in case of infection that may be causing the issues you report. Are you experiencing any lag on the cursor that trails slowly when moving the mouse, this may be an indicator?

Another thing that can happen with a track pad, touch pad or mouse is the curse of a contaminate (like the residue of a cough or sneeze, or sticky soft drinks from the hands) that can cause the buttons to stick; this can cause undesired effects like the back button.

Another option is a fault with the keyboard where the tab button sticks temporally, anybody that reads this thread will see if you press the tab button repeatedly on the keyboard you will see towards the bottom left of the browser the position on the webpage change and different text displayed.

Not been a member here that long to get that involved in the profile section of my account so I have no idea on your second inquiry. However, I do hope you get things "sorted".

I don't have any problem with my mouse anywhere else with anything.
I also believe that if that was the case shouldn't it be the 'add to users reputation' that would be used instead.
It's strange that it's jumping over that and chose the report one instead

Well, it seems it's only me so far that has the problem so I just have to hope that the moderators don't get tired of me reporting everything I read

A sticky key would have a certain friction that would interact with the membrane of the keyboard (lol just making things up now).

The report a post requires you to fill out a reason why it's being reported, so if you got that far you can always bail out. As for the "friends" page, that's a known bug that I'll try to fix next week. Thanks for the reminder.
