Dear ******,

This is to notify you that on Wednesday, December 15th 2010 Victor Chandler Poker will be moving to the Entraction Poker Network and ceasing to operate on the iPoker Network.

Entraction has been a provider of Poker services to Victor Chandler in restricted markets for over three years. The decision to move to the Entraction Poker Network has been made with good knowledge of their methods of operation and service levels as well as their dedication to software development and long term plans for the future health of online poker and, has been taken in the belief that you as a player will ultimately benefit from a safer, more stable and more rewarding environment.

We appreciate that this news will raise many questions and we will endeavour to answer them all in the coming weeks. We will also continue to update you throughout the month of November with details of just how you will benefit from being on the Entraction Poker Network for the remainder of 2010 and beyond.

In the meantime, I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for choosing to play at Victor Chandler Poker and hope that we can continue to rely on your patronage both now and in the future.

No surprise here

It was matter of time for this to happen. With all the roguish things happening on Playtech/iPoker network I am not surprised to see them switch to some other provider.

Would anyone continue to pay penalties to the network just because there are more winning than losing players playing from your poker site?
Would anyone pay money to provider which doesnt care if there are tons of proven bots playing and network is doing nothing to remove them because rake those bots make is more important?

Also, would anyone pay money to William Hill when one of William Hill`s smaller outfits is feeding William Hill owned and operated bots to the network playing 24/7.

Plus, iPoker forbids rakeback network wide yet that same small outfit owned by network providers sister firm is offering 33%+ rakeback through poker affiliate website that I believe is closely connected to William Hill, if that site is not owned by Will Hill too. I wanted to see who owns that site but info is hidden and I couldnt find any site stats too, visitors and stuff like that.

Great move by VC. It remains to be seen how much will this move impact iPoker and will they finally get hit enough to be forced to make a move for the better.

Poker is bottom of the barrel for most operations these days, the operating costs are huge in comparison with fixed odds gaming/casino/sports.

It's probably a deal to cut their losses more than anything else, no doubt Entraction will charge substantially less than Playtech.
