i've had some fantastic runs on lucky angler, and ive seen the other side of it too, if its generally underplayed in comparison to doa then their will be a lack of screenshots, but it is one of my fave net ent slots, not saying its capable of producing doa wins, but in the base game with sticky wilds in matching positions on reel 2 and 4 its possible to have long streaks of continuous wins, and 5oak of the highest symbols paying both ways and multiple times equals a good win ,

i do think the doa screenshots breed further success, if you see someone winning x1000 you give it a whirl, i find the slot totally dull but i do admit to having a good try at getting that monster bonus round because ive seen so many screenshots, so many so close but x200 is about my best on doa

im yet to hit a monster free spins round on lucky angler, but im sure if it got played as much as doa we would see some, it needs a chopley test with spreadsheets or something

I had an another go at it yesterday with 200€ bankrolls at two casinos betting 2€ a spin. The first session ended quickly with only 120-130 spins with my balance reaching zero. I didn't see any big cash prize eggs, mystery eggs or freespin eggs on that run so it didn't give me any kind of chance really.

Off to the other casino where it starts off with missing eight freespin eggs in a row and keeping my balance at 10-30xbet range from my initial deposit for over 300spins. I have to say the slot definetely grew on me a bit but as already stated by many posters it's just too low variance so getting ahead is a long shot. To answer Nate I have to say that the new Netent slots are good entertainment but they just don't pay well. Would be great to play these kind of innovative slots geared towards high variance. But I reckon we are the minority thinking this way as clearly these slots are very popular. For example many netent casinos most played lists included Starburst for the longest time since it came out and I think this has lead to the developing of these low variance slots. Also most casinos ought to love the fact that these kind of games greatly reduce the risk of any real jackpots (aye, simply put players just can't get ahead)

Hmm, have anyone else noticed that when you increase your bet level the eggs still pay the same value . while all other wins ofcourse increases accordingly. while if you change the coin size everything increases as you would expect.

i hope i am missing something here, or else this is a serious bug.

If you increase your bet the eggs disappear. I wonder how that affects the RTP. Lets say you had an egg with 20 spins and you increase your bet by 20c. Will that egg reappear sometime. I know you might not hit it but im curious.

One more thing is that the Slot remembers your bet - I got a notification on that and proceeded to have a nightmarish session ...

I like this slot and the concept and I have had some good not great wins.

In my most recent session on this slot,my balance was stable for around 200 spins hitting the odd coin egg and that's all. I had 10 eggs that were free spins and 5 that were wild although I never 'hit' any.Then all of a sudden it went ice cold on my next 160 spins.

30 of those 160 spins were wins and no higher than 3xbet,a dead patch where I had an empty conveyor for 30 spins and I 'hit' no eggs in 160 spins.

I also find the extensive dead patches seem to occur quite regularly.

Currently at over 500 spins without a free spins round and those wilds dropping left and right of the eggs all the time is driving me nuts. It also managed to suspiciously miss what would have been a really big win with the expanding wild on the top paying symbol, by dropping the wild one reel away and paying nothing.

I'm also getting narked off with an egg disappearing off the conveyor belt only for a wild to drop in there on the next spin.

I've now had another 125x egg trundle all the way across the conveyor belt, only to have THREE WILDS land in various places on the very next spin. (I'd have to get some actual stats to prove this, but I think the WILDS turn up far more often when there are no eggs on the conveyor belt, it's certainly what it feels like anyway.)

Well it's absolutely scything through my bankroll on 40c spins, I've had a few free spins round now and IIRC my best win so far is 55x stake, I just had an absolute stinker where 10 free spins paid 1.5x stake and I didn't have a single wild land for all 10 spins.

I've had the mystery egg twice, which paid 125x and 20 free spins (the free spins round was poor), and I think I've had the expanding wild two or three times, one of which did make a reasonable win of about 60x stake.

It's also capable of chucking out numerous patches of 10 dead spins or more, and not even having an egg up on the conveyor belt at all for similar stretches.

Well I'm just not accepting that it's random, the RNG behind the scenes picking the round result is random and fair I'm sure, but thereafter everything is gimped and rigged, standard NetEnt fare.

Take this set up it just gave me (missed the screeny).

Normal play, mystery egg above reel 4, 100 coin egg above reel 5.

It spins in a WILD on the bottom stop of reel 3, the bottom stop of reel 4, and the middle stop of 5. (So that's pretty unusual in itself, three WILDs in a single spin, all adjacent, and two of them open an egg.)

The WILD on 5 awards the 100 coins, the WILD on 4 opens the mystery egg to reveal..... THE EXPANDING WILD LOL LOL LOL.

So not only does it give an expanding wild in a really shit position (and picks it from the mystery egg), it also does it when there are already two normal WILD symbols adjacent to it, so the expanding wild only actually expands into three other spaces, and makes a couple of low paying 5OAK winlines for the standard NetEnt 5-10x stake win.

This is not an isolated example, I've been watching shit like this for well over 2000 spins now, I defy anyone to spend an extended session playing this slot and conclude that all the wild/egg/reels stuff is even remotely random in the way that we'd all understand it.

The round result is picked by the RNG at the spin trigger, and it makes everything up to suit itself from there. (A bit like Elements with its amazing ability to find a losing spin for the fourth winning spin needed for a feature trigger.)

Yes, the reels are utterly gimped on it, I've only ever played it in freeplay and TBH I was reduced to dribbling torpor after 20 minutes. You can tell if you look closely at the reels and the little hesitations when the egg above is going to get a wild underneath.

The scope for big wins is poor on this slot too. I don't think you'll bust out on it, but you'll have little if any profit.

BTW I'm now doing the same as you regarding slots. I have had some decent sessions in the last month, but win or lose I am totally bored and my heart's not in it.
