I am very slightly up on Dracula but entirely agree with Nate. All slots grab our money but it's the way they do it that counts. Dracula gives you umpteen dead spins and then occasionally gives you a win to recuperate most of your losses but the difference between this and say Immortal Romance is that there is no "big hit" potential. You just don't get that feeling of knowing the next spin could be a 4 Wild Desire! In all honesty I'd prefer to play a low variance slot than give this any more of my time!

Activating the free spin feature is my biggest reason to hate this slot.

It seems all their new slot releases are going for that 'it must cover the whole reel' to activate free spins. From memory :-

Steam Tower - One whole scatter reel to activate free spin. Admittedly this isn't so bad because its also a wild and it can happen on any reel and from playing experience free spins activate alot.
Spinata Grande - Will probably need at least 2 rows of the scatter reels to show to get at least 3 scatter symbols but even if you miss out you will get something for it with the silver and gold coins.

These 2 I find at least compensate you for the 'almost' free spin activated or give you every chance to earn something with that spin.

Now Dracula has the tightest requirements to activate free spin feature of those 3 new releases
- Need both scatter reels to show in full at the same time
- Only show on reel 2 and 4
- Are not wilds and no rewards if you almost activate free spin

Nothing worst than seeing dracula show up nearly complete on reel 2 for me because unless you have a dracula symbol on reel 1 and 3 you are not gonna win crap no matter what appears on reel 4 and 5 (even a full girl free spin reel symbol showing). Those scatter reels are so chunky and unless you get the free spin it messes up everything on that spin. Should have made the scatters on reel 1 and 5 in my opinion

I have been playing a lot of new releases the past week after a break from playing and wow the latest slots are terrible from Netent! I have only managed one bonus round in 2000 spins on Dracula and it was fairly crap. Graphics and sound are amazing as always, the bat feature has potential to be great but the gameplay is not.

The paytable is terrible and it has an absolute shockingly difficult trigger for free spins. The amount of near misses on the second scatter would drive you insane!

Steam Tower, Dracula and especially Spinata Grande look and pay the same as Viking Quest and Temple Quest that are available through Quickfire and supplied by Bigtime Gaming, maybe they have employed the services of this supplier.

I like the Dracula slot. The graphics and music are superb in my opinion. The few times I have played it I have been fleeced or bled dry might be a better term (except on one occasion). When I play it I feel lulled into a trance. Dracula probably hypnotizes me saying "Give me all your money". I also think that if you manage to win more than 100x Dracula will jump out of the screen and bite you. From now on except for the occasional spin I am steering clear of this slot.
