Downtime Friday 9 January

Just a heads up there will be some downtime tomorrow after 9 am CET. I don't foresee it lasting more than an hour or so. The latest version of vBulletin will be installed - which is lookin' pretty good.

Those of you who use the Social Groups will be pretty happy since this refurbishes this section entirely. There will be a few more bells and whistles too

Anyway, for those of you who care some of the new features include social group discussions, private message filtering, private message quick reply, lightbox navigation, and thread prefix permissions.

What is lightbox navigation?

Oh, and the 'threads' in the social groups will help tremendously in following and replying to a discussion. This was much needed. Groups may gain more use and participation from this simple improvement.

What is lightbox navigation?

Lightbox keeps a small thumbnail of any attachment you upload in your post. It enlarges once you click on it. Thus you don't have posts with full sized attachments. I haven't got it to work yet though

I might be able to turn it on or off for certain forums. I haven't checked yet. But it's still not working
