I was drunk and high and made a (bad) joke about 3dice being part of the illuminati and government mind control and how the slots are affected by your thoughts.

I was immediately pm'd by Anna saying "kindly leave chat and close your account"

Then Lance pm'd me and said "one moment please" then I was banned from the chat and as well as the entire casino.

The fact that I got no warning is what bothers me and that I was joking around.

you were trying to make a joke? isn't joke supposed to be somewhat funny? i mean, obviously, you not gonna become a comedian anytime soon, but if you need a warning, don't you think you should warn yourself if a first place when you drinking and getting high?
even though you don't really care, there some people that my get offended from you "jokes". i would try to pm Anna and apologize.

Joe I have to say it's nice to read that you yourself realize you were wrong and feel bad. I don't think I saw your comments but for that to happen it had to have been bad.. Just email Anna and tell her you do feel bad and will try harder -- not to offend. I don't know the situation but maybe you can get your acct unlocked ...MAYBE

I can see them banning you from chat for your remarks, banning from the casino , well you must have really pissed Anna off as she is a very sweet and understanding Manager, we have had some really drunk folks posting on here in the past, CM usually gives them a warning before they are thrown out of here, maybe sending Enzo and Anna a pm on here and pleading your case may keep your casino status, wouldn't hurt.

3Dice is a nice laid back casino where you get to interact with the staff and other gamers , so I can understand them banning you from there................PS, hope you do not gamble when your drunk or high:eek:

maybe i'll pm them here tomorrow. I'm already pretty dismayed by their lack of response to my emails. I don't need more disappointment now.

like I didn't even mean it was rigged but I take it thats what they thought I meant. I was about to explain how it just seems to coincide with my thoughts whether I hit or don't hit.

Keep in mind Joe Anna has been off all weekend soit may take her a couple of days to respond to ya.......

oh I did not know that. Talked to Ellen on the support chat on friday and she said Anna "usually" works fridays after her but I guess not if she had the weekend off.

They may agree to re-open your casino account, but I would be surprised if they let you back into chat - if it was all that bad, then you probably did something really taboo.

Regardless, if you feel bad about it, you should apologize, just because you know you did something wrong. That's what I would do. They may or may not re-open your account, but at least you expressed remorse and made amends. I don't think I've EVER regretted apologizing for when I did something wrong, even when the other party refused to forgive.

Cheers.

Hey Joe:

I wasn't in chat, but any "jokes" implying the games aren't fair or such are not found very funny by 3Dice management.

They do have a forum, you might be able to still log into it and apologize there.

As I said, I wasn't in chat when this happened, but often if you've offended Anna, you probably upset someone else too.

good news

good news. I got an email from Anna just now saying my account has been reopened. And the chat ban is still in effect but is temporary.

Not surprised in the least. 3dice customer service is excellent, and their management fair.

It seems a little harsh for what was clearly a tall story that no one would take seriously. Maybe being drunk and high means you don't remember what REALLY happened, and it was far worse than you think it was having sobered up and come down. Maybe you WERE warned, but didn't take any heed as you were "out of it", and forced them to ban you as the only way to make you stop.

They have, however, accepted your apology, and they may let you back into chat if you can prove that this was a "one off" that you sincerely regret.

Being high or drunk or both to me is not an excuse for being rude and making comments like that. Yeah sure we all make jokes in chat, but something like that is just uncalled for. Winning or losing, drunk or not something like that should have never been said.

I truly hope you take this as a learning lesson, because if it were me I would have e-mailed you back saying "HELL NO".

Well, i personally am not too critical when humorous attempts are being showcased by drunk and/or high persons, i mostly find it entertaining, especially when doing it myself!

If the O.P. was talking about Illuminati etc, i can hardly imagine anyone being offended, but i suspect he indeed does not recall the full
details of what he said, and how it could have been interpreted ^.^

That said, i wasn't there, so just going by my personal experience i'd say the turn of events was justified: joepits was a little too enthusiastic in his efforts to please the laughing crowd, in his hazed state did not see the initial warnings from chat, or offended peeps, and got the ban, remorsefully apologized and gets his 2nd chance.

No big deal really, lesson learned i presume.

But to add a little to the discussion, about what is allowed and what not, i have seen a lot of regulars get away with stuff, i've seen others banned for and those people weren't even drunk or high.. so it's not always a case of fair and square, standard chat-iquette, this is one of the reasons i myself have stopped actively participating in chat, for my main gripe with mankind is hypocrisy.

No Biggie, still one of my favorite places to play...

3Dice has a chat room?

You're totally wrong anyway. They are run by lizards and meet at Bilderberger conventions along with high-ranking Masons. If you play some of their slots sdrawkcab and blink rapidly you'll see your next orders. Do it, and refrain from posting them here - your last chance.

yep. im gonna be on my best behavior.

A little bit of advice, ask to be barred from the chat there for at least a month or two and as you play type into a word editor on your computer how you feel whilst you play. You may deposit there again drunk or a little merry which may lead to being drunk.

After your session and some sleep, open up the word file you saved and look at what you typed, you may be surprised at what your thoughts translated to while “high”, “merry”, “drunk” or just “contemplative”.

You may find that an attitude adjustment that being having a more diplomatic approach to your commentary in the chat may help. Chiming in with constant comments about your state of play whilst under the influence is a no-no; it just serves to annoy other guests and will be seen as flooding.

I’m not saying you can’t ever play after a few Lemonades but what I can say is in my youthful past I worked in Catering / bar work on the weekends to tide / cover me over money wise. I found three types of party people, the charming, the pains in the arm and the downright abusive.

The first were great and you never mentioned what they said the next time you saw them even if they asked, you never remembered you was busy and never noticed (code), to the second group you would suggest they were a little “off” the last time you saw them and asked them if there was anything wrong that night?, the second group would usually admit some outside influence or circumstance and revert to charming the next time. The third were almost certainly ejected at the time of their extremely bad behaviour. The third group fell into either charming ever after or were lost causes and permanently banned, as is the case in the life the third group did at times have high disposable incomes and the ban was lifted a few times until a member of staff complained enough.

Having a bankroll to spend does not entitle people to annoy other people in the virtual vicinity and I especially have a personal empathy for members of staff who are just doing their job, they are not being entertained they are dealing with multiple tasks and sometimes at anti-social hours and it is hard graft / work.

I have barred people from an establishment for reasons that are quite logical, person x moans about their liquor, I am busy dealing with other customers who just want a drink, person x keeps on and the others get intimated by person x and ask me to do something about it. I ask person x to cool it and wait until I deal with the others, they then in their own world think I revolve around it and have to stop everything and just appease them.
NOT HAPPENING, go figure :poke::poke::poke:

I could probably get this joke, start looking for triangles in slots as a form of prank lol :D ;) But I can totally understand why this can be a sensitive subject. Same with politics, better not to joke around as many people will get offended quite quickly.

Also if you sounded like you're totally serious this could mean you shouldn't play in casinos as your perception of reality is a bit off - hence why account was closed.

Can't believe I didn't see this thread until now. I will say I was in chat when Joe made his remarks and the remarks he made was very rude, crude and harsh. If you were a new player logging into chat and seen what he wrote you would be like wth did i just do opening an account here. For him to get instantly banned without warning is what should of happened. Now if he was drunk, high, whatever then him apologizing to support and explaining his actions is the perfect thing to do as we all say things we regret. Joe was fun to be around in chat and hope he gets back in there and takes this as a lesson learned that this is a virtual community where different personalities, races etc come together to play the games, chat and have fun and saying things like rigged games, nazi ran casino etc won't be tolerated, no matter where you play.

What were you high on?

That's the main problem with texts and emails.. The most important parts of communication, body language and tone, are absent. This leaves plenty of room for misinterpretation which usually leads to undesirable results. I avoid chat like the plague when gambling anyway. I find it distracting lol .

The use of smileys can often replace the missing body language and voice inflections when using a text based medium. Although my favorite smiley has always been this one. 22.gif

I think it adequately illustrates my body language, voice inflection and general mood most of the time.

Also I don't think people really chat much when they gamble for real money. It's mostly people with tournaments spinning in auto play. 22.gif

You are very lucky guy that I didn't see your chat at all and I wasn't on there that night. Otherwise it would be you know what its like. But yes of course you had a hard lesson to be learnt not to repeat the most serious mistake again. You poor thing got banned without warning but that happens in some places. You are very lucky to be back on with account open and I hope you remind yourself that is your only second chance, 3rd strike means a permanent out. So yeah of course Chat isn't the place to be if you are on high, drunk or so. And probably not good idea play casino as well. Hopefully you won't let it happen again in future as well. Its good to see you very apology and remorseful.
