I just received an email from AllJackpots casino
Is this a common practise amongst casinos? As far as I am aware I requested the account closed a year ago and have zero balance. Would they have the authority to take this money directly from a card I have registered there?
To be honest I find it pretty disgraceful that they can get away with doing things like this, particularly as they are an accredited casino here. Is this how things work across the board??
Dear ****,
We haven’t seen you here at All Jackpots in nearly a year and would love to have you back.
In accordance with our terms and conditions, if you do not log in with your username, ****, and play within the next seven days, a €5 maintenance fee will be deducted from your casino balance on July 6, 2014.
Please note that you will be charged an additional €5 maintenance fee, to be deducted from your casino balance, for every 30 days that your account remains dormant.
If you have another active All Jackpots account, please contact us to ensure this fee is waived. Otherwise, play or make a deposit and no fee will be incurred.
Sincerely,
*** ****
