Question Do you guys watch slots streamers?

Not open for further replies.
It always seems (well 99.9%) of the time that streamers hit those big wins but how many of them have access to bonuses that everyone else will not get. I tend to take most of them with a pinch of salt these days.

Some of these guys stream for 10 hours a day. Thebandit is probably still down on a game like lil devil. When slotspinner hit massive on DOA II, he said after the fact, that he was down like $34,000 on the game at that point. I think the rigged for streamers rhetoric is silly; the truth is the hidden cost in getting all those big hits. You can watch letsgiveitaspin on youtube and see all of his massive hits this year, and only find out by asking him that he's down about 100k Euro

Chances are that most streamers, if one were to amalgamate them in one's mind, would likely splurge winnings of £20K by doing ever more ludicrous stake sizes. And thereby desensitize their viewership into thinking high stakes are 'the done thing'!

Yet with that never-ending supply of plastic money to keep the reels spinning, like you said, £20K is just a happy blip in that cycle.

It'd be one thing if *most* would take that money and state what they'd put the money towards. But it's a means to an end I'm afraid: keep the zombie hordes fixated at any cost

Yep 10 hours to fulfill an addiction!!! How does that equate to responsible gambling? Nothing will convince me otherwise but I know if I was playing for 10 hours on a daily basis, I would be numb to slots, bored out of my mind and slavering in the corner mimicking a deranged lunatic

....wait a minute!! Maybe I already am :p:laugh:

Bandits latest video - 80p for 20-30k. I am a skeptic but the chances of that happening are astronomical. The chances of it just so happen to have occurred when a casino affiliate/YouTuber was making a video...come on. Don't piss down my back and tell me it's raining.
Did he not say it took him over 13 hours of non stop playing though? And cost him £28k or something? The odds are astronomical for it to happen, like you say, but if someone is playing 13 hours a day it stands to reason, them getting a massive hit like that are lower than someone who plays for 20 minutes once a week, Are the absolute shite bonuses he got also fixed?

I have watched a fair few streamers and with some of them it has nothing to do with the bonuses they get. Their general game play is far far removed from the gameplay a general punter has. Bonus after bonus, big win after big win.

I'd quite frankly be astounded if some weren't playing enhanced versions of the slots.

3 to 4 hours and I'm at my limit most of the time, that's in a "good" session. Anything beyond that and I feel like I'm in a zombielike state just restarting the autospins or even worse clicking the spin button manually. I can count the longer sessions on one hand and if I remember right most of them weren't very successful either...

These two jokers (no offence please :D ) started popping up on my YT feed a lot lately. I remember not to long ago they were "daddling" around with $0.50 and $1 bets. Now they do bonus hunts with 15 and 25K starting balance, going for features at bet sizes of up to $20.

It is a prime example of gamblers losing the value of money as well as of their advance through the various addiction stages. Small bets are not giving them the dopamine storm anymore, now it has to be a lot larger.

Question is here again, where will it lead and when is it enough? I watched now a few of their videos and there is no reaction whatsoever when they lose 5K or more on a bonus hunt!

It's hard to imagine that it is all on their own dime. I know what affiliates make but that would not cover the level they are playing for very long.

Looks like Stefan Edberg and Cartman at a gay bar.

Used to watch Streamers but soon realised how utterly soulless the whole experience had become. The relevance of “real money” is irrelevant when they are being given an effective positive earning position. I do still watch the community wins on Casinogrounds and some of the Vegas vids (although sdguy has long become unwatchable) as they can be entertaining. Also still dip into dunovers vids for anger management therapy. :D

It doesn't look at all, that there is a bit of gamblers blood in their veins

I gave up watching his vids long ago. Jumping the Shark doesn’t even begin to describe it. Also, has he stopped plugging all sites including his own in his vids? TBH, it’s a moot point. Pushing what can easily be seen as irresponsible gambling, extra hard, in a time many are more vulnerable than usual by being stuck indoors, is fairly questionable practice. And that goes for all streamers, but then again this must be a top time to get all those lovely extra signups.

Here’s a visual. Does this help?

You won't be able to see any more for a while of my level-headed and even-tempered sessions. I have suspended any video content and output demonstrating real-play until this lockdown is over and people in general are back to normal as far as their lives go.

I remember a short while ago @Playford7 in one of my comments suggested affs and especially streamers would be making more than usual.

When March's figures were in and I did them beginning of April I noticed a significant rise in New Depositing Players and revenue. Now that could be just me as the figures do fluctuate month to month but I'm pretty sure it's indicative of a trend during lock-down.

It's not something I felt comfortable about so decided to not only suspend new real-money content (except demo-play reviews and any news) but also my own play during this period. So am not playing at present either.

I don't know other affs' or streamers figures obviously, but I'm pretty sure they will be higher than before.

This may be done under the guise of 'creating more content to provide more entertainment during lock-down' but I don't buy that. When the recriminations and pointed fingers come afterwards, at least I can wash my hands of it all. So yeah, I do avoid the backlash but really I'm doing it for my own conscience. It also pisses me off that there seems to be a increase in smaller online casinos piling adverts out on some TV channels lately.

Me cussing my luck on Bonanza seems rather frivolous in context of the difficulties and workload others are enduring at present.

Liked watching your vids! tbh you never did push your links to casinos or constantly asked for likes like most streamers do,your commentary was the draw especially with a 10x bonus You have my admiration for the stance you have taken

I liked watching your videos too, FWIW. :)

Fair comment and kudos.
I’ll obviously refrain from my usual tirade..but
The so called ‘content’ that’s pumped out of late is a disgrace and it’s done purely for financial gain.
Yes I’m well aware it’s how they make money (let’s be honest I’m more familiar with streaming than a affy manager)
But if you genuinely watch any stream for say half a hour and look at the comments of ‘since this virus I’ve lost x amount’ or ‘first time viewer here since the virus’
it’s no surprise to see your figures up, and as your aware many times I’ve defended you and your a hell of a lot more decent than the parasitic low life ‘folks’ whom are pushing out this idea of content faster than the virus affects anyone.
it’s taking advantage of misery and loss to be upping what people watch and have available to them in order to make revenue.
it’s frankly a disgrace.
In my personal and very biased opinion of affiliate streaming it’s absolutely non essential and to be pushing onto another market in the manner in which they are now.. no names mentioned obviously (chipmonkz) and the (bandit) I just find it in very bad taste.
Will anything be done? Perhaps, heard a few whispers.
Anyhow stay safe, eat kebabs and drink Dr Pepper, oh and wash your hands.

Well done to Dunover above for ceasing videos during this crisis. He is probably the only one so far to stop?

My own observations from the last few weeks, which clearly shows the push from affiliates

Stop and Step - Used to post Tuesday to Friday on YouTube, now EVERY day with live streams at weekends and repetitive forum references to sign up to free giveaways on pages with banners to casinos

Chipmonk - Two, sometimes three videos a day now promoting scum casinos like Winstonbet and Netkan

Rocknrolla - Suddenly reappeared promoting Winstonbet and doing occasional £100 slot spins and £2000 spins on roulette

TheBandit - One video a week, has now become one video a day with £75k losses one day, £50k gains the next and £40 spins for hours on end

Some of these streamers are gaining 3000+ new subscribers a week (Bandit boasted more than that today) so god knows how many new players are getting addicted to online gaming.

Well my figures are an honest answer to your honest question. Gambling at the moment seems trite and trivial. I thought about it when doing the first applause on Thursday 2 weeks ago, staff in the NHS are dying when I'm sitting at home indulging in escapism, safe and stress-free. It doesn't sit right with me and the more I mulled it over, the more ashamed I felt. That's why I suspended my casino accounts last week and stopped the real play videos.

It's a tiny gesture as a result of personally feeling so useless in all this. I see the posties dealing with Xmas pressure volumes with 20% off sick and working their bollocks off (I worked in a RM D.O. many years ago so know what it's like), I see the recycling and refuse guys each week, the ladies on the tills at the local supermarket covering all sorts of hours and of course the extreme situation for the NHS and care workers etc. Yet they still get the job done while I'm sitting here.

I love football but it's shown us all how superfluous to society these 100k-a-week prima donnas are, the cult of celebrity and stardom has now been demonstrably exposed for the shallow and vacuous crap it always was. So yeah, it's only a tiny gesture by myself borne out of guilt, sympathy, frustration and the new realization I'm sure we're all going through right now.

Many thanks for the honest reply.
As said I could write a yellow pages worth of stuff about those mentioned, post past affy emails and lies etc..
But I value my time here and it would be short lived.
eventually the axe will fall, and it will.
I mean to watch a video ‘guys gamble in this time responsibly’ ‘but here are my links’
Is just disgusting.
also to shave off ones hair in desperation to earn a few quid is comical, I’m shaven bald and have a decent job normally.
To lower myself to such extremes is sad.
Also I’m a registered NHS helper, granted only done a bit of shopping for people and made the odd phone call but it’s better then me ‘posting content’ helping those poor poor folks with gambling issues as watching £40 quid spins really helps with that shit, just like the begging, the shite casinos and lies abs pretending it’s all about entertainment.
If it’s about entertainment maybe I’ll start posting my £50 deposits, my own cash and not want to fleece some silly twat into getting into gambling in the first place.
not a go at you mate, as stated you know what you talk about and have morals.
Most don’t in that business.

Maybe all these streamers and affiliates will have a bit of a conscience tho and will be donating all the affiliate earnings during this time to the NHS or some other charity.

And the pope will marry Kim Kardashian.

To offset there tax, yeah and paid for by the sub whom loses to them.
lovely and noble huh.
how about not stream and volunteer? That would help more.
Sadly not one of the low life’s will.

Are you donating all your income to the NHS or charity?

Maybe i am . But my income is not earned off others misfortunes. But yes i do donate to charity.

And i am not suddenly trying to make a fortune out of this pandemic.

You know as well as i do exactly what i meant so was a pretty stupid question to ask.

Ya, I don't get why anyone would think an aff should donate their proceeds; theyve bills to pay and mouths to feed as anyone does; we wouldnt ask the gas stn attendant nor supermarket clerk to fork over theirs.

For some affs, it's their primary or only source of income
Smaller aff sites would barely scrape by to pay bills.
Larger affs have staffs who in turn have bills to pay and mouths to feed.

I agree with not targeting players BECAUSE of covid, but not feeling obigated to not generate income due to it.

What, 100% of your income like you suggested affiliates should? How are all affiliates earning all their money from others misfortune?
When you call in a shop do you tell them they should donate all their income to the NHS as they sell cigarettes, lottery tickets or alcohol, which obviously can cause misfortune for some people?

Really you know damn well that i was making the comment because of all the ones that are suddenly cashing in on it.

But not worth debating it with you.

And for what it's worth my earnings the little they are are through a job that is classed as essential so i am still working through this and my partner is the same in her job for the NHS.

I agree. Nobody should be forced to give out what they earn.
footballers, film stars or the affiliate.
That said there are certain ways of making money and clearly cashing in on times of pain and suffering that leave a sour taste to put it mildly.

I think maybe a more prudent suggestion is that if incomes are higher than average during this period the excess could be put to good use. Then again, I think Playford's advice to do something practical by volunteering is of more use in reality.

It’s not about the income.
the fiscal side is irrelevant, it’s how it’s been earned that’s shady and damn right dodgy.
Most casinos I play at like the l and l brand for example I’ve had no offers for match bonuses and the like not once ( maybe Jan was just pissed I won a few quid)
Also the white hat lot have been more silent than a straight guy at a schofield bbq.
yet the usual are pushing links and this silly content idea that’s insulting to a max.
yeah I hate how they earn there cash, but at a time like this it’s beyond immoral.
will it stop? No.
will we see a backlash, hell yes.

Nice that you took the stance you did at the moment.

If people make money as affiliates good on them as if it pays the bills why not.

My comment was more tongue in cheek because of the comments about these streamers suddenly streaming non stop now. Obviously none of them would be donating it.

But like you said Playford's advice is good and volunteering is something to be proud off.

With every comment and reply their will always be good in the community! If a certain type have a hidden agenda hope karma bites them in the ass and I’d clap outside every nite applauding that

Don’t fear...
In times of need the playford batphone is always active.
A beacon of hope in such times of fear if you will.

I've lost my respect for Bandit, he's lost touch with reality.

Respect to dunover for his stance on affiliation during the Coronavirus, is it a coincidence that certain streamers outputs have increased during the lock down? Bandit/rolla/chipmunk or is it a cynical attempt to make money! I’m not sure, and it’s also not a essential journey to leave the house to go gamble

Have no idea about streamers motives but one aspect can also be that they are staying locked home much more so why not to work more could also be one approach.

When you work more, you make more money, I've been just almost inside home with my semi bad asthma, having some walk daily etc.. but spending so much time at home, no places open to go watch footie (which is not played atm), even benches near sea side are taped as closed that you can't sit down to read book or anything so i find myself working much more hours than i would in normal conditions, one way to kill time.

No opinion about how ethical it is or not to promote casinos at this time, one thing what i'm happy to see that at least some casinos (don't wanna promote any names) are making much more effort to their real time RG monitoring and interact with players much more than usually (and send these annoying SOW requests and enforcing mandatory limits to be suitable for players). Not really support idea to close down casinos from some regulated countries like UK as it brings people to Curacao and getting even fair chance to win reduce (and of course RG things disappear), so hopefully regulators inform all casinos that at this time, RG monitoring and interaction needs much more effort than normally.
