Do you ever think how much you win isn't random?

Not another 'are slots random' post btw! Recently I was playing at a casino over a period of a few days, deposited £30 I think, got my balance up to £80 so was £50 up. Lost it all to bonanza of course, and made a series of small deposits thereafter. Each time I manage to get myself exactly £50 up overall, to the point when I'd deposited about £120, had nearly lost it all down at £4, had a big hit on a slot and magically got myself back to yep, £170! It seemed as though no matter what I did slot wise I couldn't get over this figure. Anyone else ever experienced this? Not the first time this has happened either, played a big range of slots from different providers too.

This would involve all suppliers working together and casinos having the ability to control games. Oh and a multi billion industry making something blatantly obvious for fun.

Slots are not rigged, but if you think they are i advice you to not gamble :)

What happens often, or atleast I remember it that way, is that in the beginning of a session you get a nice hit and are up to a point you would withdraw if you had played for say 30-45 minutes.

But you can't withdraw at that point because the casino wants you to turn over your deposit atleast once (some even more) and only taking out the profit seems like it's too little an amount. Then you just go on and lose it all instead because all slots you play from that point on are dead.

Sure, random... but annoying as fuck.

I agree with the OP i have noticed this pattern all the time. Almost like theres a thresh hold on how high your balance can reach of said deposit. Very noticeable when you deposit 100 lose 70 and the features lands and pays 70 putting you back to your initial balance. Cant see how thats random but there ya go.

Quite often I find a bonus will land you back just a few quid shy of your peak balance or deposit, making you inclined to carry on...

no but sometimes I think how much I lost isn't random and makes me wonder what the RTP is on the slots I just played. I honestly should start looking at RTP more when I play
RTP is calculated over billions of spins.. looking at the RTP from any particular session won't tell you much except how lucky/unlucky you've been.

I see where you are coming from here - I personally have had those feelings, whether justified or not. Especially on Bonanza where it played in such a way that on the rare occasions I actually got ahead from a deposit, I had a sense of a 'monetary balance cap'. So I would get a £50 deposit to say £130, it would go dead, back down and then via a series of base game wins and/or feature the bankroll would get to within a few quid of that peak £130 amount, sometimes a few times in the same session. But never further ahead. This seemed to happen regardless of stakes, i.e. if I raised from 40p to 60p when hitting the 'peak' and scored a feature, it would be less than preceding ones, as would any significant base game hits in times-stake terms. Weird overall, but no doubt can be explained away by ahem, randomness.

I hear what people are saying, and I'm not saying it's rigged as I haven't the proof nor inclination to find it, but very occasionally I have a session where every game I play no matter what provider, seems to pay. You have all had those dream sessions where even the games you can never bonus just land it in easily. And yet you know when that dream session is over as every game will strip your balance. Very rarely have I had a good run on one game and another does the opposite. You know when you are on a downward spiral and nothing hits.

I am sure there is some connection between the game and the casino you are playing at, at the end of the day the casino has your balance and sends that to the game (speaking in basic terms here) so why is it out of the realms of possibility that the casino also dictates what balance you are going to end up at?

Happend me aswell several times. last time it happend was monday night. Deposited 200 euro and won 1900 then down to 300 and upp again to 1900. ingot so
Many bonuses but they never paid so i could get up more than that. So i cashed out 1800 haha.... And then i lost it on another casino

I'm sure it's all random (at least in some way) but I feel I see consistently repeating patterns. Take for instance Bonanza's bonus game. It seems like there are 3 types of result you will get -
(1) The dead bonus where all but 2 or 3 of the spins are dead and the paying ones only yield micro-wins.
(2) The money-back bonus that somehow comes out to the amount you just lost in that session and
(3) The big-win bonus that pays maybe 500x+ giving you maybe 70% of your losses back from a losing streak you've maybe been on for a while to keep you interested and stimulate your brain's reward pathway.

I draw similar patterns of behaviour with the reel wins too but with those also adding it feels like you're more likely to hit a decent reel win if you have lost a fair bit in that session.

That's most probably all nonsense ;) but that's the way it feels to me sometimes when patterns seem to consistently repeat.

I Love the shouts of where's the evidence to say its rigged!. I Have always been on the fence but lets roll with it as i enjoy playing the games as much as the gamble. But i want to just had that as mentioned this is a multi billion industry so unless you also have your own evidence that its not rigged then there is not any. Casino world is full of owners that would happily pay a fine for a breach/undercut and im sure plenty of Bribes and back hands have been passed around at times to turn blind eyes

But they don't need it, they have an house edge of 4% (or more!) in most cases, so they have a steady income, and the more customers they have the more they will get.

House always wins remember.

And since when has a ‘steady income’ sufficed in the business world?

I know but as i say. why settle for a million as a steady income to your business when you can make 2/3/4 times more. we are all human and everyone is driven by Greed and hunger for more. Including this industry
