I joined 3 casinos lately that have BTG listed but the BTG slots weren't on the list of available games after joining (just like NetEnt). Is it a coincidence?

We haven't been able to play BTG anywhere in years, save for VS - so I'm gathering it isnt so much a BTG stance as the casino's about grey-area gambling regions.
I've been away for a while and was only playing at VS and slotsmillion (BTG available for us at both, BTW) so this answers my question. Thanks!

Were not a grey area I don't believe anyway. We have Kahnawake gaming commision which I understand is one of the best just wish our Governments would face the fact there one of the best and to keep there nose away from them.

I do have a question if any could answer is why online casinos like Videoslots etc that accept Canada do not get a license through the Kahnawake gaming commision.

I know many download Microgaming casinos do.

I think we're grey in that most laws havent yet caught up to online gambling, and that several provinces have their own 'provincial online casinos' now, (playNOW, PlayOLG etc) but not recognizing others outside their own jurisdiction - example, im in ontario, but i cant play the BC online casino.
Maybe because of the above, Kahnawake is only recognized in Quebec not federally. Honestly I dont know.

edit - looking at their site, perhaps their authority only extends to first nations not federally

» Does the Commission have a relationship with any other regulatory bodies?
The Commission has always understood that, given the global nature of online gaming, it is imperative for regulatory bodies to cooperate with one another. Section 3 of the Commission’s Regulations concerning Interactive Gaming specifically provide that they may serve as a basis for “harmonization with comparable jurisdictions”.

In 2005 and 2010, the Commission entered into Memoranda of Understanding with the Financial Services Regulatory Commission ("FSRC") of Antigua and Barbuda. In 2006, the Commission entered into a similar Memorandum of Understanding with the Lotteries and Gaming Authority ("LGA") of Malta and in 2010 a Memorandum of Understanding was finalized between the Commission and the Alderney Gambling Control Commission ("AGCC").

In 2014, the Commission entered into Memoranda of Understanding with the Six Nations Gaming Commission (Ontario, Canada) and the Santa Ysabel Tribal Gaming Commission (California).

Also in 2014, the Commission and the Department of Gaming Enforcement, New Jersey, agreed to a reciprocal information sharing protocol.

In 2015, the Commission entered into a Memorandum of Understanding with Jersey Gambling Commission, Jersey, Channel Islands.

Kahnawake is not recognized in Quebec either. It's on an indian reservation, they do what they want and have their own laws.

Most casinos offer BTG games via the NYX platform. I have the same issue at Rizk as they take the games from the NYX platform, hence they show in the list but I get a "game_restricted" message when I open them. I got the entire "restricted countries" list and couldn't see Canada.

However, NYX is now part of SG digital (known as Scientific Games or SG Games, that includes Bally, Barcrest, WMS), don't know if that has any impact on Canadian players. Can you play Raging Rhino, Zeus etc?

We can't play, beyond the above, IGT and Netent

That might explain it. I assume SG Games is big in B&M casinos in the US, hence, they have been doing what Netent did a few years ago. Restrict one country to have access to the US market.
the brick and mortars are chock gull of Balleys, Barcrest, WMS and IGT
we can find those games - very limited selection - on our provincial online casinos though.

End of day, I dont much miss the slots, but for the fact theyd be the odd, occasional nice change

I forgot to add a short word to my previous post. What I meant they restrict the online games in a country. B&M operators might have the license to offer them as well on their online skins.
