Deposit option for US players?

Hi all,

I have a question. If for example an online casino start selling gift cards, like Amazon cards (of given value and unique code for each card) - will it be an option for US players?

1) Casino creates scratch cards and posts them on eBay or Amazon, for example. It is not necessary to be an online shop like eBay / Amazon, because casino can create its own online shop. Cards are like $10, $20, $50, $100 etc.

2) Player buys a card in a store ($50, for example) with their Visa / MasterCard and logs into online casino.

3) Then player goes into cashier and applies a code in there.

4) Casino credits casino chips of the same value.

So, the transaction is not marked as "gambling", but at the same time players can deposit into casino.

Will it be an option?
Thanks!

P.S. Still trying to think about a solution for withdrawals.

Any thoughts?

Would be great to hear response from any casino which does accept US players.

Cheers!

Don't think so, as it is also related to online gambling in general.

why not made withdrawals like a shop, for example as amazon ebay cards, or buying some items on any sites, many options there, if player win, he can dont spend his cash, just redeem money from casino and casino buy something for him. Of course not so nice, but as an option may be ;)

Yes, but it's also could be valid for all players from all countries :)

For me it looks like a solution... the only problem is how to withdraw your winnings.

You could also post items on eBay for us to purchase, although not real items but we could pay for them to deposit into casino's. Many ways to get cash to the house but not many ways to get the winnings back. (I don't endorse this, just an example like Amazon).

Most players want cash back but why not offer gifts of the winning value vs. cash if no other option?

Example: I deposit $100.00 and win $5000.00. I could then advise you what products I want online, whether it be a TV, cell phone, new computer etc. and you purchase it and send it to my address.

This would work for people willing to exchange cash for product. I would in some cases, why not! :)

You can also send payment via PayPal, and point the reason for payment as services, and PayPal won't charge any fees for it.

how about just sending cash via fedex or postal just insure it this is for cash outs ton's of envelopes
are sent daily Sig required

this is already working elsewhere

I recall that usps has an option called Money Order or something like that. It can be used also I think.

It's an idea but then wouldn't that just give certain officials a gift database of who is playing online? Playing online itself is usually not illegal but I would think the selling of those cards would be in the United States. Some people have such a bug up their you know what over what other people do with their time and money.

I am just a little nervous about using designated cards now. It is why I don't like Okpay and wish I had never even signed up. Over the years I have seen and actually experienced cards or wallets being shut down suddenly and funds frozen.

It does not have to be an online casino itself who's selling these cards.

They can create small company for this, which won't be related to online gambling. And there is no need to point what these cards can be used for :)

On Amazon even private persons can sell their stuff.
