Hello, masters!
Apart from the love to card-based gambling, I'm also an SEO manager, and I came here looking for partners in our niche. I'm pretty sure there's a lot of people with whom we could cooperate for mutual benefit.
I want to buy different kinds of links from gambling sites for my online casino. Not exchange, only to buy. I'd like to post my requiremements, but I'm not really sure where I should start a thread. Could you point it for me please, so I don't make a mess in a wrong place?
Thanks in advance guys, and may the fortune favor you forever ;)

I thought there would be more people willing to make some cash selling links

Actually, selling links was what a number of affiliates did over a decade ago. We even had a section in our Strictly Commercial section where affys sold links. This was shut down years ago since Google penalizes those who buy links, and there was buzz about being penalized for aiding and abetting the selling of links. This is why you won't find any interest here.

The best way to become successful in this business is to work hard, create content focused on a niche, and network. Gone are the days of "making cash" selling/buying links.

That is NOT what this forum is about.
If you're VERY lucky, you might not get banned...

Well, I'm pretty sure there must be some sort of a marketplace, right? almost every gambling forum has a business section, and I asked to point it for me in the original post. I honestly tried, but couldn't figure out a better place, so I asked for directions in my introduction. And I never posted any details or links, so why should I be banned?

No one is banning you unless you violate our awesome forum rules.

As for a market place, just scroll down towards the bottom of the main forum page, and you'll see the Strictly Commercial section. Here is a short cut:

You can sell domains there, but not links.

Oh believe me I know, but my client is too stubborn to try modern means. I know that it can be more harmful than useful, but I cannot change his mind. That's why i'm looking for sellers, and I actually found quite a lot in other places, and they make decent profits out of this.
Too bad the Commercial section was taken down. Sorry for posting an inapropriate topic in an inapropriate section, I never meant to.

Anyways, thank you Casinomeister and CasinoKing for clarification, I'd like to ask you to not take down this thread in case someone from around here will decide that it's worth it, then PM me, so we can discuss it privately, without others judging our methods.

The commercial section was not taken down, that's why I provided the link to it. Purchasing and selling links is a good way to get penalized in Google. Every noob knows that. Making money off of buying/selling links is horse hockey.

I saw the link after answering the previous message.
Penalities are often, can't argue with that, but links still work, if they are relevant, any noob knows that as well. Otherwise we would not have citation & trust flow as one of the most important metrics.
Nonetheless, thanks for a vivid synonym for bullsh*t :)

Links are important - obviously, but if they are purchased - you'll be penalized. You earn your links via providing content that bonafide websites refer to. Simple as that.

I'm moving this to the Webmaster Corner for further discussion. As for the OP, I'll do you the favor and add you to the Webby group.

Thank you for ranking me up) I hope i'll have another client who is aware of modern ways of SEM, so that i'm able to cooperate with this awesome community.
