Yeah, the old Sheriff was very happy to see me too (aka take my dosh), although had some good playtime on this occasion. Enjoyed losing to him for the first time. :D

Has anyone got a half decent wild line on this yet? Netent are a disgrace with their nefarious rtp algorythm blighting all their bew and re-mastered slots. If they are a simple redesign on the graphics only why doesn't a spokesperson from them come and confirm in public, ultimately we the players are keeping them in business. Disgrace.

When you can see see the top x stake win for all their recent games being 150 x stake over over 100 bonus rounds, its fair to say the default response to a new release is a) nice graphics b) but its shit c) dabble for 5 minutes then never play again.

Painful but true. I like gambling but it's clear they don't want people giving them their money any more. Sadly, I don't know what hobby to turn to next. Better to take a sabbatical until these greedy, selfish providers realize that people don't like being shit on.

I like the new version just as much as the old.

One thing i have noticed though is using the stop button like a demented button tapper brings in a lot more bonus rounds then it used to plus i have also just found out that by clicking the reels during free spins it stops the reels dead so if your having a really bad session try the demented button tap for a while then try playing normal then button tap again.

Thats how i got my wildline the otherday at videoslots came within the first 20 demented button tapping spins.

I only pop in once or twice a week (if that) and I've never seen anyone near it :eek:

They just don't know what they are missing :rolleyes:

Yet been in Quicksilver this morning for a cheeky tenner and the Original Party Time is being played strong again as well as the Bullion. Only 10p versions but continually occupied. Sure these must make more profit for the shop than the B3's lol.

Hard to believe they came out 16 years ago and still popular.

On the 10p ones if you get them right, they can do big top boards, highest i have had is £34.
Thats when they keep going back up.

Had a £22 from one on Saturday, but they are buggers for just giving you the present symbols and fucking you off.

I've found that i'm getting way more 50-150x bonus rounds from the HTML5 version.
Where as with the original, bonus rounds were always 'all or nothing', 1,000-10,000x or 0-50x. There was never very much in between.

So if they have adjusted the variance to favour the mid-range bonus wins more. There's going to be less of the mega wins, in order to maintain the TRTP

102 spins later I have £4.30 in the bank, so definite value for money this time round!

Had 3 wilds after just 2 spins in the bonus round as follows. Thought this would be a good one, but nothing else came in and total win just over £3. Bastard bloody game! Should have stayed on DoA as the Rhino then took it all .....

Thank you for updating from old crappy Adobe Flash Player game to proper HTML 5 game, it is much better, run smoother and faster frame per second. Flash player slows every down with memory hog and resource hog. HTML 5 hardly use much resource. Also applies to Starburst as well and is so good now.

Agreed but the key word here is 'faster'

Munches your bank roll faster. This is nothing like the original IMO, basically its a totally new game.
 
I think most people misunderstand what is HTML 5, it does not make any difference in game RTP even in speed of slow or fast. HTML 5 is much newer code than the Adobe Flash Player and is much safer. Adobe Flash Player prone to have virus or malware which is dangerous and it has memory/resource hog which is bad for slow computer such as simple atom to i3 processor and average joe video card such as Intel Graphic. Lots of game have to change from Adobe Flash Player to HTML 5 as it will become standard soon. Plenty of games etc on browser have already changed to HTML 5 as well. Not just casino.

Very true, it does zip along rather quickly now, to the extent that it does feel nothing like DOA anymore. It's more like a DOA clone, or tribute act.

I don't mind sharpening up the resolution, and I can just about tolerate the lack of adjustable paylines......but speeding the game up ruins the experience. DOA never pretended to be anything other than slow and boring, but that was sort of the point. Now you'd be lucky to make £20 last an hour on minimum bets! :mad:

Not really convinced. Watch the CPU rate when playing the new Warlords slot. My laptop never broke a sweat with any games, today i played a few battles at VS and for the first time ever i heard the cooling on my laptop and felt it warming up slightly. And that slot is HTML5, apparently the latest of the greatest.

Further, the spins are not much faster on DOA, even on Quickspin, due to the mandatory win count(unless you double click on the screen on each win to skip the count). I measured it and in normal mode i got 6-12% less spins/hour and on Quickspin i got only 14-26% more compared to the old version (depending on how many win spins/hour you have). Nothing to cheer about really. :o

The screeching 2-scatter sound got me to mute DOA for the very first time.

Overall, I call it a horror show. Don't like it and will look for new favorites next week. :D

So now this I don't see any difference in payout rate between Adobe Flash Player and the HTML 5. I think people are using scare tactic to avoid casino with HTML 5 is a silly idea. Casino were left with no choice to change to HTML 5 due to browser are going to stop the Adobe Flash Player support one day.

No offence mate. But 708x stake isn't a BIG win on DOA. That's upper mid range.
The mid range hits were almost as rare on the original as the huge hits. It used to be 'all or nothing', which it obviously had to be to maintain the TRTP.

Now there appears to be more of the mid range, which will probably keep your average player happier. But this is obviously going to be at the expense of the huge hits.

No one is saying that it's now impossible to get a huge win from the HTML5 version, I myself had a 2317x stake hit on the HTML5 version, which is posted on the 2nd page of this thread
What is being said is that amongst all the aesthetic 'improvements', they've also taken the opportunity to mess around with the variance, and that the whole thing feels very gimped.


P.S. I don't think anyone is stupid enough to think that coding in HTML5 is going to have a direct effect on the TRTP.

500x or more is actually very rare to get though. Slot will always win against you and you lose more until you hit big at later on. It probably took about thousands of free spin before you get lucky to get 500x or more. Most of free spin in DOA is usually dud. This DOA is very risky to play so is BDBA or Reel Steal. 2,000x is ultra super rare to win this. Only best thing I had was close to 1000x of $2.50 bet on Mega Moolah Isis with 5 scattered. It hasn't even pass 1000x though.
 
after 40 hrs playin this i have to agree with what someone mentioned regarding the bonus round. ad a few hundred and can only recall 2 or 3 paying nothing. all but less than a handful gave over2 wilds, usually 2-7 in random places. hardy any rounds paying next to nothing but way to many 15-30x bet instead . tin foil hat yes but its never done that to me like this on the old one .. feels likethe varience is different and not so much all or bust features. to be continued i spose after ~double wrapping the baco foil.
*edit. 2hours lateof 20 more bonus rounds doimg the same.. the final 7hours of a 12hour punt giving max base game win of 5oak cups 3times.. ill have to assume i was the only one playing it there those last 7hours otherwise standalone casino must mean playing against your own rtp, with that bloomin ending.

One thing which ive never seen was on reel four , there was two wilds within 3 spaces , i dont think ive ever seen two wilds on reel four within 3 spaces meaning wild on the fourth just above . not showing on main page but just above.

I noticed this too matey, same reel as well, couldn't make my mind up whether it was different reel strip layouts or just the way it displays our so called 'eye candy'

Something else happened yesterday also which made me rush to the local shop for extra foil supplies, a totally NATURAL 5OAK Whiskey Glasses (no wilds at all) during the FS feature :confused::confused:

Something which I've never seen in thousands of bonus rounds on the original (including winners videos) mighty strange and mighty dodgy IMO. :o

I had 5OAK boots two days ago with no wilds at all on the screen. Netent variance. :rolleyes:
 
No matter which casino I play DOA at, I always get four wilds and 5th never comes.

The feature comes in very often nearly every 20-50 spins and that tells me no wild line is coming for a long time.

With the new version I don't see anyone posting many if any winning screenshots lately. :(

That's it!! I will be beating this new version and will get a wild line and 5 scatters hopefully before Xmas. I don't know which year before Xmas though.

Could be the year 2020 the way its going :lolup:

Hmmm, i was playing it a lot on friday at VS and i couldn't get the free spins for ages letting it play at normal speed.
Got the shits and started clicking that mouse button rapidly and straight away got the spins.
Went back to normal speed for ten minutes of nothing and started mashing that mouse button again. Free spins after about ten spins.
Kept fast spinning it for next hour and got lots of free spins rounds (still couldn't get that wildline).
Went to auto spins for 30 minutes and got no free spins round.
Also had very similar results at VS last weekend.

I was clearly of the opinion friday night that i felt i had a better chance of getting free spins if i kept hitting that mouse button!
 
I don't think they changed RTP, but I think they did change something-maybe variance...I'm not sure. Before HTML5, once for every a few deposit, I could have a really long play time with one deposit-I normally deposit between 50x-150x of bet size-.
After HTML5 most of time, my balance disappear really quickly.

I have a same feeling too. I feel I have more free spins when I do "quick spin". But the problem is, most free spins paid really nothing, which means when I do "quick spin", the balance disappears so quickly, so I don't like the idea of "quick spin".

I don't get much free spins with "normal spin", but at least I could play longer with "normal spin" since it is slower to finish one spin.

I'm not sure which one is better to play with.
 
On my session this morning, I didnt notice the line of scatters or wilds going past like they have been doing.
I have also had 4 bonuses with just a wild on reel 5.
Had 11 bonus rounds and only seen wild on reel 1 once.
3 bonus rounds where I just had a 3OAK win of tens.
Had enough on it for today now, but it definately seems to be playing like the old version to me this morning.

Played this at BGO quite heavily after my Friday Rhino disappointment.

Never seen so many bonus rounds and none too far from each other.

Pity they were all pretty much 'spot the wild' but game me hours of play time!
 
BGO nightmare atm with sticky bonuses , which i had to have manually removed , also fridays promo after emailing them about it , they've told me it was a 50% match & not the 100% match i opted in for so made a deposit of £100 as per vip , got £50 bahhhhhh

That didn't last long on rainbow robbery .

Believe me, I had several sessions where I could only trigger the bonus with Quick Spins in the old version. Garbage. I did get the 5 Scatters with this technique, though.

I have the same issue with Cazino Zeppelin. Can't trigger a bonus without banging on the tablet. Had some good success yesterday, at least.

hmmmm well i seen reels 2,3,4,5 on all line up today as they was going around straight lines for a few hundred spins that cant be right , you could see four scatters in a line every combo all straight lines (((

No advantage. I think this simply is about regulations.

The (UK) Gambling Commission is not a fan of too fast game-play, so I assume the quick-spin option often is disabled for players from the UK (and other selected territories).

I have played the new DOA version at several casinos and they all offered quick-spin (but I am from Norway).
