Covid and RTP

Just a heads up really. I like to visit landbased casinos from time to time and recently went to Coral Island Casino Blackpool. On previous visits slots were set 94.6 - 95 rtp

Now I know rtp is over a long period of play, but it does change the way the games play.

The above casino changed the rtp to 90%, I thought why are these playing so bad? My wife was playing and hers was the same. Yep rtp lowered.

So I suspect they will all be doing this to grab back money lost over the lockdowns. But for me this is just not right, they will always win on slots so why squeeze more from the players. I informed them that I would not be going again and will go to see how others are performing. Of course they did not give a hoot.

Just a rant really as I felt they just ripped off the customers and they the customer will never check and wonder why they are losing so quickly.

Wondering what the heck RTP is? Find out here at Casinomeister.
Thing is, lowering the RTP is a short term boost. It’s not sustainable in any way as you’ll just drive out custom.

If I was running a business I’d rather have a steady but lower profit margin than a temporary boom then bust.

I'm half-expecting Blackjack to be reduced to 6/5 in UK casinos because of Covid and if that happens I will be fucking disgusted. I'm going to Blackpool for a weekend soon and although I don't really play random slots in land-based casinos I will keep an eye open for lowered percentages ?

This ^

If i would run a casino let people have 96.5% really.

But its all about financial shit here why these changes are applied. Obvious casino's have a contract with providers; they always hide behind the providers; like they dont or cant choose the settings they prefer running in their casino.

Casinos should be on 94%, most still are in the UK. Were this jackpot progressive games? As a few games (Scientific) say they are 90-91% RTP but that excludes the jackpot progressive contributions, so, 94% overall.

Well Gary is back for his new game Gorillas Go Wilder.

Just a normal slot no progressive jackpot.

Not sure of its RTP at other sites but Willy Hill has it and RTP is 87%. Yes not a typo 87%.

Was like WTF never expected that low at WH. So not sure if any other sites have the slot and RTP but that is real bad.
