Not much point in posting anything else on this thread as so many who dont believe the facts in front of their eyes and are insistent that this is just a flu.
Why is the NHS quickly putting together hospitals with thousands more beds? Why is every ICU in the country starting to fill up with people? Why is there such a rush to manufacturer ventilators? The answer is that this is more than the flu.
Yes 80% dont know they have it. 15% have worse symptoms, 5% will be critical. This virus if not controlled has the ability to quickly infect millions as is evident in the USA. If it affects millions in the UK and 5% need ICU, where are we going to put them? We dont have hundreds of thousands of ICU beds, therefore many of this 5% will die.
If we stop the lockdown in a few weeks time the virus spreads, more people get infected, more people need ICU or critical care and a number of these will die. No conspiracy theory, no BS just pure and simple fact.
I am out, I have more important things to do with my life at the moment, including trying to source urgent medication for supply in the healthcare market as there is a huge surge in patients needing medications due to this outbreak and this will be another casualty of this virus if it cannot be managed.

Would they want airlines to collapse, business to shut and have to give millions of people handouts just for a ‘flu’
It’s one nasty piece of shit this virus and should be treated So.
Ive doctors as friends, nurses also and every single one has agreed the steps the government are taking are totally necessary.
yes it’s not nice the draconian measures but I firmly believe it’s for the greater good and absolutely necessary.

100%! Its absolutely brutal. Working from home and get the constant moans. I am now thr laziest person in the world apparently. Getting reprimanded heavily for the most minor thing, it was not hanging the dish towel over the cooker handle today. Am I to be handcuffed??? Its absolutely crap, wish I was back at actual work.

She also must sleep at the bottom of your bed and you must get up at all hours to take her for a wee.

Mine are mostly lighthearted and just trying to up the mood.
Granted it should be separate, I’d make my own ‘cooking with playford whilst having his bank card refused thread’ if I knew how.

And this virus is just as bad as it’s being reported, no way would every government openly crash the economy if it wasn’t some bad ass shit that needed dealing with.

And this is only the tip of the iceberg, even the top docs in the Whitehouse Virus Team are saying theres a huge surge coming. I have never known anything to spread so far so fast and leave so many people needing critical care in such a short space of time, and thats why we need to control its spread to give the boffins the time to create a vaccine.

For the record I don’t agree with anything you say regarding Coronavirus mate, but I’ll defend your right to say it.
We are all aloud a opinion whether it’s right or wrong on here, if we all just nodded and agreed it would not be the forum it is.

This is just another normal day for me and I would love to stay home and get paid to do so, that's why I worked for 34 years, It's sad here all of us who have underlying medical conditions and seniors who are ready to retire are working and all the young people are at home.

This would be home made chilli and rice.
Finest minced beef, loads of peppers and love and tenderness, diced and fried beans and onions, garlic and all the other jazz.
Excuse the onion rings as clearing out the freezer for tomorrow’s shop.
Also grated extra strong cheese to top of such a feast and the generic Pitta bread.
Washed down with Ribena as my beer adventure earlier was a fail.
