Considering trying RTG - casino/slot recommendations?

Hi,

I usually play at what I consider "safe" software brands like wagerworks etc. I have had a bodog account for years but only played a little there. I am considering trying a new brand of software tonight and I think RTG as its pretty much a new beginning as far as slot games go for me (slots are all I want to play really).

I have a couple of questions

1) What are the most trustworthy and quick paying RTGs? I would say bodog but they are out for me as Id like a welcome bonus to try slots on. Id like recommendations for others. NOT INetBet either please, I was unimpressed with the way they responded to chuchu in that other thread. What about that slotocash that have a thread going atm, are they any good?

2) Recommendations for which slot to play. I like free spin features with multipliers that can retrigger....any good ones on RTG? My fave on Microgaming is ISIS, on playtech is GREAT BLUE and on wagerworks is CLEOPATRA 1 for example.

Intertops are usually fast in their payouts (or they used to be. And they did payout on weekends. I quit gambling online over a year ago so my information may be defunct now.)

It's funny, people will tell you their favorites and that they do well on them. Then, when you try them, you might do horribly. It is all a matter of "first impressions" on a lot of peoples' faves, IMO. I know I have tried and tried some of the most played and loved slots, and can not hit a thing. I think you just have to try them all, and then you will pick the ones you favor. The best part is the trying for the first time on a new slot game. Nothing comes close to that feeling, except maybe winning a jackpot on no max cash out!

Well what has happened is....

Decided to try Jackpot Capital on the recommendation in this thread and the fact they are accreditted. Also the 100 for 100 first bonus seemed about right for me.

Downloaded and installed.....found it really strange to play in USD (I didnt even think about this before I opened the account, I just assumed I could play in my home currency of GBP). Did the first 100 deposit and tried a few slots. That T-Rex type one that was recommended was good fun, hit the feature really quick and dinosaurs everywhere rar but I ended up busting out on some other fruit slot that sucked me dry. The webpage mentioned a 2nd deposit bonus was available but didnt have the coupon code so I went on live chat and asked about it. The lady there gave me a code for a slots bonus she said I could use, but when I redemeed it I saw it was $400 max. $400 is a bit more than I wanted to deposit into a new casino for me but it was only $ and not £ and I liked the TREX slot so I went for it. Decided to try the other slots nifty recommended and some more higher variance free spin type ones.

1) RainDance

This one looked like it had mega potential. 100 free spins possible right? I literally couldnt ever hit a win on this and out of my 800 starting bankroll I was down to my last 26. Im guessing 4 or 5 of a kinds must pay really big on this because they never came up for me. Eventually I got a feature and got back to starting roll of 800 (lots of 2 scatter type wins with that respin making them count twice). I kind of felt like I could maybe gamble on on this slot as its my type of thing, but I wanted to try other games so left feeling lucky to get money back on it.

2) Some sea themed one (Crystal waters?? cant remember)

Quite liked this one, not much was happening then bam I got 5 sea horses with stacked wilds on one reel and my balance shot up to $1400 or so, I was like sweeet. Played on to get the feature, didnt win anything on it so left afterwards still at round 1400 or so

3) Paydirt

Was feeling a bit cocky now and this was both recommended and listed in the lobby as very high variance. I laughed in the face of this and UPPED my bet from what I was betting before as well. Well hey I was running good and had $1400 in the bank! (plus a huge WR lol). Holy s**t did this thing wipe the floor with me. $12.50 a go and every win I was getting was like $2.50. NO feature symbols appearing CRAP wins on the reels I was very soon down to $480 in the bank after what felt like 2 minutes. I thought I was a goner but then I got 3 scatters on last 3 reels (always good when that happens). Got one of the three features "gold rush" or something. I thought to myself hah paydirt this is when you pay me but no, I won like 4x bet or something and I felt molested after . I could only see myself going broke on this slot so i left with 500 or something in the bank

4) Mystic Dragon

Another recommendation from this thread it looked good with free spins and multipliers and stacked wilds in the free spins etc - I had to try. Noticed in the paytable you could get 100 free spins from 5 scatters, saw this on a couple of RTG slots so guess its common thing to have for them? How often do they come up? Well I wanted the free spins so off I went. My balance dropped very quickly but then I got three knights I think and it seemed to pay loads so I felt a bit safer than I did on paydirt. Was hovering around the 400-500 bankroll mark when bam I got a spin. I dont even know 100% what it was but there was 3 of those dragon 2x things and a princess for sure so at least 4 of a kind high paying?? Anyway all of a sudden WHAM my balance is 3500 or so and I am in a state of shock. When I was at 1400 I didnt feel like I would be able to cash out from there and treated it as fun money but now I can see a cashout coming and one of my biggest ever... I looked at my balance and couldnt quite believe it and came off the slot a few spins later as didnt want to lose it all playing mega high variance. Tried to find a playcheck type thing to see what I hit but couldnt see how to do that after?

Currently going round trying all the free spin slots, still holding my own balance wise, fingers crossed I make the cashout with a reasonable amount and thanks for the recommendations!!

NOTE : I just received an email with a 2nd deposit bonus code. This is hours and hours after I lost my first deposit. Its different from the one live chat gave me. I hope that wont be a problem, live chat specifically gave me that code and said I could use it for my 2nd deposit bonus so it will be ok right?

If you liked JC, why not try out their sister casinos ie Grandevegas, Lucky Club and Slotastic. GV has a message box that churns out promotions frequently. Lucky Club is generous with free chips on Mondays if you had deposited the previous week. Slotastic has at least 2 100% match bonuses every month. Mind you, the wagering is high at 30x (d+b) so any bonuses less than 50% is worthless IMO.

When I hit big on Mystic Dragon I usually try to grind out the WR on the lower variance games like Cleopatra's Gold, Diamond Dozen, Honey to the Bee, Derby Dollars..

Ofcourse those can be dead too, but they usually give good playtime (clear WR)

Just a warning to everyone that Casino Extreme seem to have either gone AWOL or are in some sort of serious trouble.
I have been unable to contact them for weeks (all my e-mails bounced), and another member here has reported a worrying conversation with CS.

There are only a few slots where it is possible to win 100 free-spins outright. I think this is all of them:
Mystic Dragon
Ocean Dreams
Rain Dance
Warlock's Spell
There are other slots where large numbers of free-spins can be won with infinite re-triggers, though some do have a cap on the maximum amount of spins, and all RTG slots have a line-bet x 50,000 max payout from any feature (which really sucks!)

I don't have any reel layouts of RTG slots, but for the Microgaming ones I have, the chances of hitting 5 scatters ranges from around once in every 50,000 to 150,000 spins.
My guess would be that they are generally HARDER to hit on RTG...
