By this I mean can it leave any sort of mark on your credit rating? What are the downsides sides from being blacklisted from the casino?

No it won't (or shouldn't!) affect your credit rating remotely - however, when applying to your bank for a mortgage or loan or even using those statements to supply evidence to another mortgage lender they can and often do view the transactions in a negative light.
If in the USA you could well be logged as a chargebacker which means casinos won't accept you or if you join can use it as an excuse to void winnings. I don't believe the UK/EU has such an organised system BUT I'm pretty certain the payment method IS logged for reference when you use the offending chargeback method at another site. I know this is true in Viper because I lost a wallet once and had to cancel 2 cards, one of which I used for casino deposits. Due to a delay in them coming through, when my bank cut-off any transactions from the day I reported them lost I had several at one site which were honoured OK but 1 or 2 which hadn't come through yet and the bloody bank cancelled them without me knowing until I was docked 800 in winnings and asked why! The Viper site then informed me my last 2 or 3 transactions had been voided by my issuer, despite me telling them to honour transactions to that supplier. I explained the issue but to no avail. Then I found other Viper clients had locked my account as I had the same card registered.
So yes, in answer to your question (although this was years ago) it can and will cause aggro in future.
