Just thought I'd tell you all that we just returned from our trip to South Africa, having been one of the two Prestige Prize winners from the recent Grand Prive promotion. It was....utterly awesome. We flew to Germany from Dallas, then on to South Africa - GETTING THERE was the hardest part...21 hours in the air to be exact! But well worth it. We started out in Cape Town, then to Zambia, and lastly to Sun City, which felt allot like Vegas.
Grand Prive gave us the VIP treatment all the way, including business class tickets and 5 or 6 star resorts in all locations. Zambia was incredible; zebras, monkeys and giraffes all strolled by our hotel patio from time to time...if anyone wants a truly "Africa wild game" experience, I would highly recommend this resort - the name of it is the Royal Livingstone Hotel. Victoria Falls, one of the 7 natural wonders of the world, is also located here, which was nothing short of awe inspiring.
We took a Valentines Day sunset cruise down the Zambizi River, cuddled baby lion cubs and got "up close and personal" with some huge African elephants. The trip was everything they promised and more. One of the highlights was dinner on our last night with Grand Prive management. A truly wonderful group of people that only cemented my opinion of a great casino group. We also had a wonderful gal that accompanied us throughout the entry and exit into the various areas, kept us safe (and mostly PAMPERED) throughout the entire trip. She will remain a good friend going forward.
All in all, it was an experience of a lifetime that we never would have been able to do on our own. We have incredible memories that will last forever. We are in the process of developing pictures, which I will post soon! CHEERS TO GRAND PRIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
