Coinbase question - transactions disappeared

Hi. I recently entered the brave new world of bitcoin for use with some of my casino accounts. Everything went very smoothly until this week. I had a large chunk of funds which I moved from Blockchain to my coinbase account. This was done on May 16. In a short time I received my confirmation email from coinbase saying I received the payment. I immediately went on to coinbase and transferred (sold) it to my bank account. I got the usual little pop up stating that the payment would hit my bank account the next day. This has always been a smooth and simple process in the couple of months I have been using bitcoin.

Well, not only have I not received the funds in my bank account, but the transactions on the bitcoin account showing them receiving the bitcoin transfer and my selling them and transferring to my bank account have disappeared from my account. I went through the many hoops to get to where I could sent a request to support, but it came with a disclaimer that they were receiving a high volume of requests and it might be SEVERAL days before they would see my request.

Has anyone else had an issue like this, and did it get resolved. This involves more that $2,000, and I am extremely concerned. Does anyone have access to a phone number where you can reach a live person at coinbase.

Any input, reassurance, etc. would be appreciated.

This is very strange, and a bit unusual for BTC. But there was a problem at Coinbase last week that made doing any business very tough indeed. I do not know of any phone# for support at CB? It is not like Circle was unfortunately.
I had a problem last week at CB that was not fund's related but a problem none the less.I could not get logged into my acct.? It was very strange and it bothered me a good deal. I sent a e-mail to support and I also got a "Sorry We Have Had Lot Of Contact's". The same pitch you got.

So is there any thing from your bank? Or is it stuck at CB? If so I would stay on top of it and keep all of my correspondence. I do find it rather strange that the transaction has disappeared?

Do you still have the record of the transfer from Blockchain? That is a very important piece of info and the history in your Coinbase acct. should have the record of this transfer to your bank, and the sell of your coin's also.
Remember that when you signed up you gave a disclaimer, and that is like stone if there is a beef.Keep the faith and let us know what is happening.Wish I could help more. Peace Out! Out Of The Mist! shewoff

Good luck getting a hold of anyone at Coinbase. No live chat, horrible email support, and no phone number to contact them.

Seriously they have the worst customer service of any company Ive ever done business with.

Sounds like you have a major issue.

It seems a bit weird from what you are describing that the transactions have completely disappeared from your coinbase account. Did you send a large enough fee when you sent the bitcoins to Coinbase?

Also as far as when Coinbase says you will get the money in your bank and sometime when it actually happens can be a few days difference. I've had them say I'd get the money the next day and it wouldn't show up til 3-4 days later. However, lately its been really smooth and usually next day.

Anyways I hope you do get a fast support response, I went as far as facebook messaging the founding owners last summer when I had a major issue that dragged on for 3 weeks involving a $1,000 trade. Even then I could see the owner saw the message but did not reply. Some company I tell ya. I always warn people in other threads here about their company and lack of support. When everything is running smoothly its a great service but when something goes wrong its a nightmare.

From personal experience you will better reach them at support+reddit@coinbase.com , in addition you will need to be patient. I had to wait 2 weeks for a reply and due to my own personal timeline my matter took another 2-3 weeks to resolve.

Run a report and look for the sell in the report. The coinbase UI does not show everything sometimes whereas the report is almost always spot on.

Either way, contact coinbase via the support portal or via the email I provided and they will be able to help you.

If you received your Funds via a blacklisted address or any trace-back to a casino's hot wallet coinbase may scrutinize these and reject your payment request and close your account. Always make sure to clean your bitcoins prior to bringing them over to coinbase, you can do this via shapeshift or via the Freewallet Mobile App (Pay in VIA Bitcoin from Blockchain and Payout VIA bitcoin to Coinbase.).

Problem is apparently with Blockchain

There is apparently some kind of major issue with Blockchain right now. Many people complaining of not being able to log on, or if they can log on can't see their information (my situation right now), and TONS of issues with transactions not confirming for many days or never. I am very concerned because I have over $2700 sitting with them right now.

Is anyone out there currently having success with Blockchain transactions?

I know a week and a half ago when bitcoin went up quickly in value the transactions took several days to be confirmed. I had no problem logging onto my blockchain but saw bitcoin up over $2000 so probably hundreds of thousands of transactions waiting. I have always had my transactions confirmed but I was nervous after a couple days. I don't like the fact it is hard to get live support.

I swear I really am getting too old to deal with this stuff!

So, I register for the bitpay card and pay my fee.

Everything looked good, right?

I went to log into the account and it asked for my password. I swear, sure as I am typing this

right now, I did not/do not remember putting in a password. WTH??

I mean it was a matter of minutes.

I put in what I thought I may have used, it was wrong.... they send me an email to

redo password. Got through about 4 capcha (?) screens, they let me in...

BUT....... I still don't know my password!!

So, got the card coming,........... but will most likely go through that crap over again

next time!

Just shoot me!
