Just cleaned my computer of all online casinos.

I am tired of depositing and hitting nothing. Tired of trying to get paid if I win a little. I can deposit just fine. It's the getting paid that is hard. You wait days for a response from somebody at the casino. You wait days for your withdrawal to even be acknowledged. It just flat sucks.

I have come to the conclusion that all the BS we US players get from online casinos regarding the slowness of payments is just that, BS! I have been depositing steadily since UIGEA with not one problem. NS will slap my hand every so often but never have they closed my account. The casinos get paid everytime and on time.

But let me request a withdrawal and it's a totally different story. I have to wait on the casino to see if I am going to reverse. I have to wait on the casino to send it to the processor. I have to wait on a processor. I have to wait on the courier. I have to wait on the mail. Bulls**t!

I am taking my gambling bucks, driving the 60 miles to Shreveport where I can find 7 B&M casinos. I might lose there too but at least if I win, I get it in my hand with no crap given and I can eat a nice buffet too.

Rant over!!!

That sucks anime, USA is a joke about online gambling, but I gave up a year already and been driving 40 minutes to local casino and it has been more wonderfull getting paid on the spot, the food and overall ambience...

Good to rant once in a while. Helps the soul realign itself....I can feel your pain. I have a select few casinos that I now play at that delivers payouts the way they should when one is able to win. Key item here is, winning.

When I deposit a few times and do not catch a good win, it gets uninstalled and replaced with another chosen one. I have many acredited USA facing casinos I do not play at due to slow pay or lack of a win with multiple deposits in the double digits. Those I avoid totally any more. The select few get my money nowadays. It is a very small circle of casinos that can be counted on one hand.

Good luck in your stand. I feel that if many more USA players start standing their ground and start using their funds as leverage,we might get a little more respect . Losing USA players has hurt many casinos. Maybe it is time for USA players to up the ante and be extremely selective to see who will be the ones left standing .

Good for you Annie, and I too have been deposit free since late April. Especially after my latest fiasco with an accredited casino.
Granted eventually I did get a cash transfer, it was the fact they flat out refused to even think that there credit card database may have been hacked.
So yes, I don't plan on making any future deposits with any online casinos, unless if I get tossed a freebie here and there.
The local B&M's tend to treat you slightly better anyways. I get why some people gamble online, it's the idea you can sit and play without being bothered by others. Some like the comfort of there own home. Some have a disability or a reason why they can't be at a regular casino.
Whatever the reason may be, I really hope the casino that your playing at, for those. Actually pays you within a reasonable matter.
On either note, I really hope some of the credit card fraud, wire issues, payment issues period. Eventually clear up, and that everything starts going on the up and up.

Hello,

It seems that is a good reason why we should sometimes avoid online casinos.

This reminds me of the discussions of the advantages and disadvantages of online casinos.
In most cases, people do what they think is more convenient and do not look for the disadvantages.

Sometimes, we may be tired and did not feel like leaving the house, so the choice is obvious, playing at home.
Other times, we may feel in the mood to leave the house, so the choice is to go out and play with others.
There are also people who can not choose, because it has no casino nearby, and they have to stick with the casinos that exist online.

There are many reasons to choose one or the other (stay at home or go out to play).
I think it's personal.
And for me, depends on the mood.

Thanks

a year ago I would have had twenty downloaded casinos on the computer
now I have none...god bless non-download casinos (oh, well the BF plays dl 32red sometimes, but that'll go to now he has the playboy achievements on non-dl))

Sending cash via courier is not as wonderful as it sounds. Not only are you paying 30 bucks or more for fast delivery but then the banks put a month long hold on checks because they are sent from Canada and elsewhere. I feel the pain from the main poster and I think I am done for a long time as well. There is just too many hurdles to avoid in order to be paid. The only casino that I know I will not have any issues is 3dice. All the other casinos are just too hard to deal with. I always weigh the pros and cons of staying home or driving. The gas I spend to get to a casino is like 40 bucks. That money can be a free buy in if I choose to stay home. The problem is that playing at home is just to easy and I do it more often than I would if I were to go to a local casino. I have had good luck online but sick of the banks eyeing me up and down and putting lengthy holds on my checks. And sometimes I have to wait months to receive checks or wire transfers. If I cannot play microgaming and all the wonderful sites I use to play at, I feel like I am wasting my time. I will just stick to 3dice for now on and play the occasional free money and 100% deposit bonuses from luckyclub abd jackpot capital. Other than that I feel like I am being discriminated against because I live in the U.S. so ridiculous.

pokerdan,

We were talking about sending actual cash via courier, not checks. LOL!

Last check I got looked like a money order but it was on a BOA in Canada, which was closed. However, I took it to the local BOA and after much discussion and laughter on the teller's part, definitely not on mine, they cashed it. I high-tailed it out of there with cash in hand before they changed their mind.

It's such a PIA to try and cash a check now that it's not hardly worth it anymore.

There are now very high withdrawal minimums on most US-facing casinos ($300 and up); where the limits are more reasonable, there are high fees charged to the player ($45, 10%, etc.).

So it makes less sense to make smaller deposits since the chance of making a balance which is eligible for a fee free withdrawal is smaller all the time.

And ultimately, this number-crunching that a player must do defeats a lot of the fun of 'just making a deposit and seeing what happens'. If, for example, you deposit $25 on a whim and double it to $50 and want to withdraw, good luck with that.
