Churchill Downs Inc.’s newest gambling site looks like the kind of betting that Congress has been reluctant to allow on the Internet.

But Churchill Downs’ newly launched Luckity.com is legal because it takes advantage of federal law that allows interstate gambling on horse races.

Can't say this is the type of games I'd play online but an interesting concept. I went to some live horse races a few weeks ago and they have a new Racino. I just couldn't get interested in slots being determined by the outcome of horse races, that's what we have here.

P.V.,

At the racetrack in Hot Springs, AR and at the dog track in Memphis, they have these slot machines. There is a tiny little window with a horserace running. Because slot machines are illegal there, that is how they get around the law. I've played alot at Hot Springs and don't care for them alot.

Churchill Downs has got their finger in alot more pies than just horseracing. LOL!
